I have used this powder to set my foundation twice (As in I have purchased the product twice) And both times it has just done the trick. I'm not here or there about the product its not terrible or anything it just doesn't stand out in any way.

I purchased this to set my BB cream and I must say it does the job. I feel it clings a bit to my dry patches but then that's a problem with my skin rather than the formula!
Normally during the day I get a bit of shine going on within the T-zone. While this doesn't completely negate that it does really go some way to keeping my skin looking natural and flawless.
Even when it sticks to my dry patches from a foot or two away it still looks good! Great colour match for me in the lightest shade. I can see this becoming super popular in summer when i don't want to wear a full face of makeup but still need something to set the BB cream.
Would I repurchase? Yes most likely. It goes really well with the Maybelline BB cream and i feel that for summer this combination of products will be fantastic!
this product was a dream come true when it hit the shelf! im a combo skin and working in air con and randomly get very slick looking. Unfortuantly colour matching is 'hit and miss' as there is no testers to try, and you cant really tell what the product is like untill its opened. I have this in Nude Beige. Its not the best colour, but i make it work. what would be AWESOME, is if they had a Transperent powder!!! Then i would definatly re purchase. I LOVE the texture, i is very similar to Rimmel stay matte powder, but a little but smoother. It feels great on my skin, and it does 'help' keep the oil at bay. im not saying that its perfect, as depending on what base im wearing, it has different effects. if i use this over my Natio, its awesome, but if i put it on over a BB cream, im still having to touch up after a few hours. the packaging is pretty simple, easy to open and you can see the product. Now the big test for me will be using this over the summer months........
Tips: no tips, but do a bit of reserch on colours prior to purchasing, you may have better luck getting the perfect match :)
I'm currently using this finishing powder and I'm finding I get about 5 hours wear before the shine creeps in. This is comparable to the rimmel stay matte, but I think it might be ever so slightly better. There is no caking. I wear Mac N20 face & body fdtn and got this in Natural Beige so darker skin tones won't find a match here I suspect.
Tips: I actually use my RT buffing brush to work this into my foundation and I get amazing wear from it as well as a nice airbrushed finish
This powder is so good! Maybelline Matte Maker truly does what it says in its name. As well as mattifying the skin, this powder controls oil throughout the day and helps to set your makeup. It also doesn't cake on the skin. This is one of the only powders I've found that can stop mascara transferring onto my oily eyelids. The other powder being Maybelline fit me powder. The lightest shade is actually light enough for my extremely pale skin which is so difficult to find so I'm pretty chuffed with this product!
Tips: Don't have too much powder on the brush to avoid caking.
I have bought this powder twice now, its cheap and does such a great job. I use it to set my foundation, its easy to use on either a brush (quick) or on a sponge. It makes my skin look flawless when I'm wearing it and lasts all day. Doesnt make me look cakey at all which is great in a powder, and it lasts so long as you only need a little bit. definitely worth having in your makeup bag/draw great to have on the go in your bag for a quick touch up if needed. I have recommended this to friends and they were just as happy with it as I am. Well worth the $15 I pay for it when I buy it.
Tips: Give it a go.
I bought this because I needed a pressed powder in a shade that matched me when I was fake tanned and this worked well. It's not the best powder I've used but it definitely does the job, I like how it comes in more yellow tones shades and it's not overly powdery. Although this is the only powder I've found that has made me more oily during the day if I wear it for more than a few hours; it's nothing too bad though. Also I'm not too fond of the packaging, it's quite similar to the rimmel stay matte powders and I would prefer it if it were in a compact with a mirror.
I brought this because I needed a cheap powder. The packaging is really simple and would be good if the compact came with a mirror but we can't all be perfect. ;) The powder is alright I use it to set my BB cream and it does what it says..."keeps the shine at bay" However if my skin is too dry it does cling to those patches but that's just my skin not really the product. To avoid dry spots clinging I just make sure to moisturize my face before applying my makeup and I also only use a little bit of the powder to take the shine off my face after applying BB cream.
If you like the matte look then this product might be suited for you. I like the matte finish because I finish if I have a shiny finish people suggest that my face looks very oily and that’s not the impression I was to give off. I was excited to try this product. It’s does what it says it does but nothing extra. It didn’t impress me. It’s a good setting powder to have in your collection for the price.
Tips: Use a good buffering brush otherwise the powder won’t last all day
This product is great if you're on a budget! I bought it to keep in my bag for touching up during the day as I have oily skin so get shiny very quick and didn't want a super pricey product just for work days. This product definitely does what it says it does on application - mattifies and reduces shine which is why I rated the way I did. For me it lost marks though because within the hour my skin was shiny - not all day coverage! Not that I was expecting it at that price. So no I wouldn't repurchase but I do have very oily skin so I would probably recommend it for a friend to try.
