Maybelline Super Stay 24 HR Colour Lipstick Review

I purchased this lippy looking for something that wouldn't rub off.

The colour glides on and has a lovely shmmer to it, then once dried I applied the balm. After a fee minutes my lips started to tingle and then after a hour they felt dry and I had to reapply the balm.

This happened every time I used it. After a week of use my lips had suffered they were dry and sore so in stopped using and just applied ChapStick and my lips remoisturised again.

This lipstick colour definitley doesn't budge BUT at the cost of drying out and damaging your lips! Won't be using again

I really thought this product would last long on my lips but I have tried other products that were better than this one. The colour looked amazing when I put it on but it did not last long at all and made my lips feel yuck. Would not spend that amount of money on this product again.

didnt really enjoy this product.would make my lips peel and so dry the next day.i usually would wear this going out for a night but when it starts to wear off and crumble it makes ur lips look so ugly. doesnt last as long as it says it should. maybe 3 hours max

The colour glides on nicely and stays put for a while until it peels and flakes and just looks awful!

This 24 hour lip stick actually stayed! I'm one to party and have always wanted a lipstick that would stay, I have the 'wildberry' colour and its a nice brown red colour, and guess what the lipstick stayed on all night! So pleased! Will definitely recommend it to my friends and use it again and again!!

I bought this in the shade raspberry due to wanting to try out this product. This was the first ever lip stain product I have used and found that I love how it was double ended as I apply the lip balm before the lip color. I found that this is easy to apply and smells quite nice. I found that this isn't super long wearing and does fade quite easily. This lip stain also dry quite quickly but I have found that your lips tend to look dry. I love how it is a nice subtle color to wear during the day. I have found I wouldn't repurchase this but it would be a great product for people beginning to wear lip stains.

I bought one of these lipsticks a couple of months ago during a sale they were having at New World. I love long wearing lipsticks, so I bought it to give a go and I was very shocked to see just how long it lasted! I swatched it on my hand, and the swatch was still there 2 days later, despite my scrubbing trying to get it off. Unfortunately the colour was not right for me, so I did give it away, but if I did see one of these in a colour that I liked, I would definitely pick it up again!

I have two of these lipsticks and I think they're pretty great, although quite pricey for a drugstore product. These products have quite a bit of shimmer in them which are quite noticeable at the start but as it dries, they become less noticeable. I find that these aren't that pigmented, they are more like a lipgloss. They aren't a super glossy feel, they dry to a good tackiness, not fully matte depending on how much you apply. I like the applicator on these, they are a great shape. And they smell sooooo good! I think the staying power is average, but it definitely wouldn't last all day. These are nice to wear by themselves or on top of another lipstick. Personally I think that these are overpriced

I got the colour #95 Never Ending Pearl, I really don't understand why Maybelline call it a lip color it is very much a coloured lip gloss at one end and the other being a lip balm. It has the normal lip gloss feeling when applying it to your lips, it was very easy to apply as it has a colts-foot applicator and then a slide out type lip balm on the other end.I didn't notice much of a smell from it. I needed a decent amount to cover my lips, i first used it on its own, it is a very sheer kind of nude colour with a bit of a sparkle, i didn't mind the colour but what i hated about it was that it separated on my lips. I have no idea why, it was not expired or anything like that and i tried it another 3 or 4 times after that and it just kept doing it! so the next time i used it over a lipstick and again did the same thing. It was not worth the money i paid and i am still quite disappointed in this lip product! I would not recommend to a friend.

I love this lipstick! It really does last forever. So much so it is super difficult to remove which is slightly annoying. The application is a little hard to get the hang of as you need to make sure you let the colour dry properly before you attempt to apply the balm otherwise it comes off in bits. Sometimes chips do come off my lips but it is not noticeable. I recommend this 100% the colour is vibrant and stays like that the whole day.
