I picked up my bottle of this foundation from the warehouse . I got it roughly for about $35 . For a drugstore brand I think it could be priced at a cheaper rate .
Packaging they’ve kept the square shaped bottle only difference is that they’ve added a pump on it. The shade I purchased was Golden. Golden is a perfect shade for my skin tone. It seems to be quite runny in consistency . Builds up nicely .
After an hour or so I notice that it seems to fade out. Next day I tried a primer and setting spray to try and hold it in place still faded out . My skin type is normal .
Overall I was hoping for a good result but unfortunately this didn’t meet my expectations. I think it should be marked at a $10-15 bracket rather than thirty dollar price tag. It’s definitely a nah bro , won’t buy again product. Test before you buy.
Purchased this due to the mass hype I'd been seeing and hearing about this foundation. Maybelline foundations and their products, in general, have always been a bit of a hit and miss for me with some becoming staples in my collection and others being a waste of money. I put off purchasing this for ages as I couldn't justify paying $35 for a Maybelline foundation that I didn't really need haha. Eventually, I came across it for $20 online and figured why not. I hated this product, it sat on my skin and felt cakey and gross to the touch. It felt like I was wearing a foundation sheet mask on my skin. The colour was off, which I spent ages trying to ensure it was the correct shade. It dried on my skin and clung to dry skin and hair on my face as I have dry and sensitive skin I wasn't surprised. It rubbed off not long after application and couldn't withstand sweat or heat. Waste of money and am annoyed having fallen into the hype.
