Affordable, love the coverage and I personally didn’t need a lot of this to cover my face. Also super long wear that lasts a decent amount of time so good for when you’re going out! Definitely lives up to the name

I hadn’t tried a long-lasting foundation before, so I was looking forward to this trial.
I tried applying this with and without primer and they had differing results. I also applied with both a sponge and foundation brush, and the brush was by far the best application so my recommendation with this product is to use a good foundation brush.
I selected the true ivory shade. It was a pretty good colour match for my skin tone, especially going into autumn/winter. I would possibly consider buying the next shade up for summer.
No Primer Application: Applying just over my everyday moisturiser, I had a lot of trouble blending the foundation. It looked patchy, and had stripes of product, and I had to dab over and over to get the coverage and evenness. I felt like I was using a lot of product to get it looking just right, and so I felt I’d caked it a little. The finish looked like it was more of a medium coverage. I had a couple of blemishes that hadn’t covered as well as I’d hoped so I added concealer. It wasn’t a completely matte finish, but I wasn’t shiny either. It lasted well through the day however, and the only visible fade was towards the end of the day around my nose and chin. I still looked like I had my makeup on, rather than my usual face fade
Using a Primer. Again, applied with the brush, but this time it went on so easily and evenly, and had a heavier coverage. I could very quickly apply the product, and blemishes were well covered, and my eye area didn’t need additional concealer as that also had very good coverage. It was a very matte full coverage finish. I was expecting the wrinkles around the eyes particularly to look filled with product and look more prominent, but they didn’t seem more visible than they normally would with other foundations. With the primer, the product lasted exceptionally well through the day – and only very minimal wear around nose and chin again – much less than without primer however.
With this product, by early evening my skin felt quite tight and a little dry, and I felt I had to remove it and moisturise.
This foundation I’m not sure on for every day, mum-on-the-run use, as it is a heavier coverage/look than I normally go for. That said, it’s certainly a fantastic long-lasting foundation like it says, which I love the idea of, as I only apply makeup in the morning and that’s me for the whole day. I would definitely use this foundation for occasions where I wanted more a more made-up, matte makeup look that I needed to last, and it’s definitely got the stay-put factor that they promise.
Tips: - use a primer for the best application and finish
I found this foundation to be surprisingly thick. It went a long way.. the first time I used it it I put way too much on. So next time I started with just a little and I didn't need alot . It does blend easy but I found it a little heavy on my face . The overall coverage was great. It definately covered all my redness and small veins. It dried quickly . It did look a little flaky in some areas .. wouldn't recommend on dry skin. The scent was ok - barely any scent at all. The first time I applied it and put way too much on, I struggled to removed it. I had to wash my face three times and scrub ad well just to remove it and i still felt like there was product on my face. In saying that it does last a long time and is semi waterproof. The packaging was great and appealing . I would probably buy this again but in a slightly different colour.
For someone that has used the same foundation for many more years than I care to admit to, the opportunity to try something new was rather exciting!! Choosing the shade was difficult, and I didn't end up with the perfect colour match, probably a little paler than ideal but in the name of beauty gave it a go! Packaging - for some reason I kept trying to unscrew the lid, rather that lift it off, not sure why, I suspect that's just a thing that I do, rather than the norm. I like any packaging that shows the colour of the product so that if you have 2-3 of the same product you can tell at a glance which one you're picking up. I liked the pump dispenser and found it to disperse the product in a nice amount so no waste-age from over-dispensing. The foundation itself was smooth and creamy and went on nicely with the aid of my makeup sponge. I used a primer underneath, and because of the red cheeks, I also use a green corrector. The foundation went smoothly over the top and gave a surprisingly smooth flawless finish, no sign of any redness underneath. I did like the fact that it felt very light on, and didn't bother me at all during the day. All in all I was happy with the product and the coverage, my only complaint would be that by about 5pm in the afternoon my skin was starting to look and feel quite dry, but this would be a personal thing and shouldn't detract from others trying it out.
This was perhaps a shade too light for me. However I did quite like it. The bottle is nice and simple with the lid being secure enough that I could have it in my handbag and not worry about it coming off and making a mess. So far I have only applied with a sponge. The pump is great as it means you don't get too much coming out in one go. It's thick without being to thick, so doesn't run and is light on my skin. (I don't feel like I'm wearing a ton of makeup) It goes on nice and smooth and covers my imperfections great for a little while. For me this only lasts a few hours when I'm working. It seems to soak into or come off my skin. I have used with and without primer and also with and without a powder over top. It did last a little longer with a primer. I found that during the weekend or when I wasn't so physical, It lasted even longer so that was a plus. It does seem to have a faint scent. Not strong and not noticeable to me once on the skin. It did seem to dry my skin out a little, so will use a little more moisturizer to try and balance that out. Price wise for me, for the length of time it lasts, I wouldn't use it as a regular foundation. Perhaps more of a going out at night foundation, rather than for going to work.
Thank you for allowing my to try Maybelline's Superstay 24hr Full Coverage Foundation. I don't usually wear a foundation, as I can never find the right colour match. I was very surprised by how well the colour I tried worked with my skin. It was maybe a shade lighter than I need, but will be perfect in winter. The glass pump bottle made it easy to dispense small amounts of a creamy (mid-consistency) foundation that was easy to apply, and blended well (using finger tips). I always worry that foundation will end up looking very caked, so I was pleased to see how well this covered with just a small amount of product, giving a natural look. I found it lasted fairly well during the day, but came off on tissues (hay fever!). Night-time, it needed cleansing wipes followed by a wash/scrub to remove, and despite this I still ended up with residue on my towel. Superstaying power! Price-wise, this is very economical. I'll continue to use this for special occasions when I want to look more "made-up", and while I'd be happy to recommend it to friends, I'm not sure it has converted me to an everyday foundation wearer.
If you really like a heavy coverage foundation then this is probably a good option. I haven't used many and so this was quite a new experience for me.
When I put it on I admit it did feel really heavy and matt compared to what I'm used to. Any sunspots and freckles I had were certainly covered and it was just very matt. With a full face on though it did look pretty good as my skin looked so even but you could definitely tell I was done up...not a running to the supermarket on a Saturday morning look but great for work or a night out.
The first hour or so I really did feel like I was wearing make-up but as the day progressed it got a lot more comfortable. I'd put a primer on before as I always do but the make up fairies always steal my make up in the day and so by the middle of the day this one was looking awesome. Great even coverage but not too heavy.
No weird smells with this product but the packaging is a bit 'meh'. The white lid has already started to get stained with the product.
Tips: I might mix this with a lighter foundation to see if I can get staying power but a bit less matt.
I’m happy I didn’t pay full price for this, this just didn’t work that well for me. Generally I like Maybelline products a lot and used their foundations before and they were better than this one. I thought maybe since this was fairly new it’s better/does more etc.
The colour somehow ended up much lighter on my skin than expected, but I could still work with it. Coverage isn’t too bad, but to me it isn’t full coverage either. It works best with a wet beauty sponge for me personally, which obviously makes it lighter coverage immediately as well.
However, with a brush or with my fingers it did set into my fine lines too much and makes my dryer areas look flaky. I will use this up next winter with a heavier moisturiser underneath, but I won’t repurchase. I think I’m just not the right demographic for maybelline foundations anymore, as I always forget that I’m now 30 and it’s so hard to not buy products/brands that were working for me 10 or so years ago. :/
I won this in a BR fb competition (thank you BR!!!) and was really excited to try it! Since it had come out I had been wanting to give it a go. I like the square packaging- not bulky and looks simple, with a white lid and glass bottle. I really like the pump as well, it’s so easy to use (not too stiff and the product doesn’t squirt out too quickly) and really easy to control how much product comes out. I find the texture nice and smooth, easy to blend and can be built up. I usually use a damp beauty blender and it works really well. I find I don’t need heaps of product either- probably about 1 pump so the bottle generally lasts me pretty well. It has a nice natural finish, not too matte (I have dry skin, so matte foundations cling to the dry spots) and looks a bit dewy (which I like) and not too oily. The coverage is probably medium- it evens out most of my redness but in some places I need concealer for more coverage, but this doesn’t really bother me. I also usually set with a translucent powder. The foundation sits well on my skin however I don’t find it lasts 24 hours as it says- for me near the afternoon/late afternoon it starts to wear around my nose/forehead/cheeks, and wears quicker in the heat. The product is not perfect, but I do like it. It is really affordable (especially on special at countdown or farmers!) and the shade matches me perfectly.
Tips: I find this medium coverage, so in some places concealer is needed for extra coverage :)
I got into this foundation for a while, it was reasonably longwearing and affordable. The shade was a good match for my skin and the feel and formula of the foundation were reasonable.
The one thing that put me off it over some other foundations is that it had a scent that I wasn't particularly fussed on, but one if was applied I stopped noticing it. I also noticed that it oxidized a bit after a few hours on.
Having tried more high end foundations, this one is not leagues behind for half the price so it's definitely worth taking into consideration.
