Maybelline SuperStay 30HR Activewear Foundation - Classic Nude

I bought a whole heap of these from the beauty vault - practically all the shades for fair light and pale skin that were available. I was interested in trying them and getting the perfect shade plus my skin was breaking out terribly and changing alot with the hot weather. The foundation comes with a pump dispenser for convenience and in a glass bottle like the fit me ones from this brand. I am sad to say this foundation is not for me. It sets very quickly and sunk into my wrinkles and lines making me look older. At first pump it seemed ok but very light coverage then I gave it a shake and there was a huge difference. Coverage became very good and I was hopeful untill I saw how my wrinkles were more obvious. It also did not do any favours for my pores I do have big pores in places and you could see the textured skin and caked mask like look. From fat away it's probably okay but it definitely didn't look natural on me and seemed to look bad / caked quickly. Even when applying it would set and sometimes when I tried to spread it around to blend or lighten / increase coverage in places it would sort of remove some of it from an area so then it was patchy. I tried it again the other day and added oil to it in an attempt to help for a smoother better application and look. It didn't improve much. I also tried to combine with another foundation and it also didn't really help. It made it not set as fast but It still didn't look nice. I have not tried it with a silicone primer yet but so far it's definitely something I would not use or buy for myself. The thing is I hear some people love it so perhaps it works well with primer and different skin types. Oh and guess what? I was not easy to remove. On my hand it took some scrubbing with soap which made me think those who wear it must have to cleanse and exfoliate really well to avoid blocked pores and residue from the product. I much prefer fit me. If you go swimming I think this would stay on I think it's like a waterproof foundation untill you use soap
