Maybelline SuperStay 30HR Activewear Foundation

First up I was pleasantly surprised. For a lot of the foundations that are "long wearing", they can be heavy and cloggy and this was not!!!

It felt lightweight on and not oily at all and best of all doesn't clog your pores and looks natural on.

Application spreads and blends easy on and stays put throughout the day.

Has a real nice matte finish but at the same time my skin still had that dewy look.

Win, win, win.

I am a huge fan of maybelline - its probably one of my favourite brands and it is so affordable. I have used most of their products and highly rate them for the price and this was no exception.

I have no need for a 30 hour staying foundation I always wash it off prior to 24 hours use. I usually only use for a day of wear out and about.. no wearing it to the gym for me. But I commend them for seeing this niche and trying to fill it for consumers that may need that day wear that rolls into night/the following morning.

I got the colour nude beige and it was risky choosing a colour online but this is one thing I love with maybelline its a good bet their beige will match and it was a great match.

It was a nice consistency - runny at first and I was worried but then nice smooth consistency that blended well.

Medium coverage which is perfect for my skin I don't have many blemishes and following use it wasn't greasy or cause blemishes.

Great colour and coverage - and wears well it lasted me during my usage I didn't wear for 30 hours but have no need for this.. it did a great job on my skin for sure.

I have a weird relationship with foundation in that I wish I didn’t have to wear it as I don’t like the full on made up look – very out of fashion at the moment I know… I also buy new ones to try & then can’t use them as I don’t like the feel of them on my skin. So, if you are still reading now that you know how strange I am, then I will review Maybelline SuperStay 30HR Activewear Foundation. The packaging is standard Maybelline – no frills & minimalistic style. I saw the glass container & hoped I didn’t have to pour it out (another pet hate!) It is actually a pump dispenser which works really well; you can even just pump out the tiniest bit if you want to. I used a blending sponge to apply & found it worked best by layering it on, to get the best coverage. This is also good for varying day time & night time looks. It comes out as a thin liquid which was a good surprise as when I think full coverage, I assume thick gluggy cream. This has a really lightweight feel as the blurb says but it does cover really well. It covered a blemish that I had better than my concealer. I was also impressed that although it was full coverage it didn’t look like I had a mask on… So, how was the lasting power? – well, I didn’t stay up for 30 hours to see if I was still wearing foundation but it certainly lasts the whole day & evening , including going to Pilates & dance classes. So yes, it is sweat resistant & it is long lasting. I somehow managed to pick the correct colour for my skin tone – another bonus! I liked it a lot….

I found this liquid foundation very light and non drying. It comes in a bottle with a handy pump dispenser which I found requires only 1 pump for decent coverage so makes it good value for money. It lasted a long time although I didn't wear it for 30 hours as I can't stay up that long lol, or go to bed without washing my face but I did go to the gym in the evening and after sweating it out, my make-up was still on. The colour I chose to trial was probably a bit light for my summer skin but would be perfect for my pale winter skin. It really evened out my skin tone and I absolutely loved the lightness of this make up

Fantastic lightweight long lasting Foundation by Maybelline. Comes in a 30ml glass pump bottle making it super easy to use. I used a blending sponge to apply and not much was needed, it is definitely lightweight like it states but stays on all day with out needing to reapply, I even had a sneaky nap & didn't need to touch up, still looked fresh. It is also sweat resistant, exactly what I need with ongoing hot flushes and the humid weather. The colour match was perfect for my pale skin tone (02 Naked Ivory) and I would definitely consider purchasing again in the future.

First off whaaaaaaat! Is this magical being! I’ve been wearing this stunner everyday for for a few days . I chose the shade cameo , it matched perfectly! My first mistake was not shaking the bottle and it was a little thin so I used two pumps , which was to much. I’m in love ! The packaging out does my go to maybelline fit me matte and poreless. This pump is a game changer! I used a beauty blender and this blended out to perfection! Coverage is perfect ! Chefs kiss!

It also doesn’t have that yuck foundation stink which I love because I’m super sensitive to fragrances.

I wore mine for 10 hours on the first day , I do have super oily skin at age 40 . I got slightly oily on my nose but literally nothing compared to other foundations. And that was after 5 hours! Yes 5 hours!

I didn’t prime and I didn’t set because I wanted to fully put this to a test. It was slightly drying though.

At 10pm I’d left it on and it was a bit dry, only a teeny bit of wearing on my chin .

I have swimming pool sized pores and my pores on my chin were obvious as well as it has settled into my fine lines.

But! Would I use this again and again uh yes! Without a second thought! Us oily skin girls know it’s hard to find a stay foundation that isn’t sliding off!

This is a fabulous foundation!! I have been using it over the last 10 days and it has passed my expectations with flying colours. As a station cook standing in a hot kitchen, over a hot stove for a lot of the day I needed a foundation that stays put under heat and humidity. I am also pre menopausal at the moment so having hot flushes throughout the day. This foundation lasted all day, didn't transfer onto clothes, or when I wiped my sweaty face!! I used it in conjunction with the Maybelline SuperStay 16hr Powder on my T Zone and finished off with a matte setting spray. It provided full coverage but still looked good with no cakiness etc. For application I used a makeup brush. At half the price of my regular foundation I will definitely keep using this product. This foundation goes on beautifully and blends in effortlessly. I tried it over a few different moisturisers and SPF products and it worked well. I was very impressed with its longevity and how it stayed looking fresh and provided full coverage all day! I even got caught in a light rain shower and the foundation still looked perfect, so the waterproof claim was certainly tested. I am also impressed with the coverage and how my skin still looked matte but not dry by the end of the day. My T zone still felt a bit oily but it didn’t look oily, it still looked matte and fresh at the end of the day. I may not have tested the 30 hour claim, but for usual 12 hour day wear, I am very happy with this product and it’s now my go to foundation for longevity and full coverage. I also noticed that it didn’t transfer onto my face mask, so still looked good after I took off my face mask when getting off the bus!

Unfortunately due to Easter the package arrived late so didn't have as long as normal to trial. I wish I had longer to trial but will comment as much as I can.

I am a flight attendant so normally wear double wear as this is the only foundation I have found that lasts a shift. So safe to say I was comparing this trial foundation to a very good product.

I was impressed how light weight this foundation felt. This helped create a beautiful texture on my skin and was still buildable for coverage. I liked that the foundation still have a glow to it no matter how much you built it up. It wasn't shinny just looked like a healthy glow.

I was impressed how long lasting this foundation actually was. Definitely lived up to double wear on this.

During work I have to wear a face mask so was concerned this foundation may rub off. This wasn't the case at all.

I also work out with makeup on. So was nice this didn't feel heavy. And also didn't move at all with sweat.

Only disappointment is you have to use a lot to get full coverage. By the description I expected it would be more full coverage than it was.

Would definitely try this again. And excited to experiment with this product more.

So I have worn this all week, including when I've gone walking (high-intensity) this week. Wow! Am I impressed as it's been fantastic. I honestly don't feel like I've been wearing foundation.

I like that it's very breathable, I also found It was the perfect shade for me which is usually really hard to find. My skin has had no reactions and no breakouts wearing it which is a big thing for me as normally after wearing foundation for a couple of days I get a breakout! I think that's what's blown me away the most.

It easily came off with my micellar water at the end of the day and my skin has been great.

I am really impressed with this foundation and will definitely be purchasing again!
