Maybelline Superstay 7 Days Gel Nail Color Review

I have two of these polishes Berry Stain and Forever Green. Berry Stain is a pretty berry shade that suits most skin tones and I could wear anytime of year. Forever Green is a nice cool teal shade. Find these polishes easy to apply because the brush is wider flat and rounded. The polish goes really smoothly and takes around 20 minutes to dry but longer to set. One coat gives me good coverage but two coats gives me better opacity. Both polishes made my manicure last a bit longer than some of my other polishes especially some of the cheaper brands. I would say this is one of the more affordable polishes at about $15 a bottle at the time of this review that the lasting power is comparable to my polishes from the $20-$25 range. However I don't get a week's without chipping, I don't get five days without chipping. Chipping starts on day three and from there it's downhill, sometimes it starts on day two. I do a lot of cleaning, cooking and dishes and so I guess a expecting a polish to hold out is unrealistic even though I use a top coat every time I paint my nails. With the green polish it stained my fingers and the skin around my nails for a bit when it came time to remove it but I didn't have any problems with staining when it came to the berry shade. I do think this is a decent line of polish especially with the brush making it easier to paint it. However, if you're after a polish line that lasts 7 days I don't think this is it.

The wide brush was good for my larger nails, but so difficult on my smallest 2 nails, I ended up getting it on my fingers as well as the nail.

It comes in nice colours, however I did not find it lasting anywhere near the 7 days promised, myabe 2 max. I find other brands last much longer. However for the price I would say its ok

I LOVED this nail polish. Although it didn't stay on for the full 7 days (I am a mother and ECE teacher) It did last longer than any other nail polishes I've used. The brush was brilliant on my bigger nails as I only needed to apply one stroke however, slightly harder on my smaller nails. Highly recommend.

So I've been having a few misses with nail polishes and I was looking for a new nail polish. I came across Sarahs review and I was completely sold on how good it would be. Last week Warehouse had thirty percent off their make up and I used that chance to grab a couple of these nail polishes at a good price.

The two colours I got was Sureal a purple and Enduring Pink its a light pink colour. The brush is thick and curved at the tip. The bottle is a is clear so you can see the colour your getting, it has the Maybelline branding on the front. I found the consistency surprisingly thin. Has your normal nail polish chemical smell to it.

When I applied the first coat I found it dried well. I waited four to five minutes in between coats. I used about four coats to get a good colour. I also tried using it with and without top coat. It moves easily across my nail and doesn't clump at all.

I'm glad to say that this polish does last 7 days. It didn't chip at all on me within those days. I was so surprised at how long it lasted. I really like it. It's definitely not a waste of money like others I've used. I can't wait to find more colours so I can keep using this range. Good quality polish that's priced affordably.

This gel nail polish is totally worth buying I have a range of colours and recommend them all. They state last up to 7 days without chipping at this stage everytime i wear it it has lasted upto 5 days however in my line of work washing my hands many many times and very hands on I am totally happy with how long it lasts. However on my toes it lasts longer than the 7days and lasts upto 2 weeks without chipping. Best one i have tired so far.

I was really impressed with the quality of this nail polish. Beautiful colour nail polish, very pigmented, opaque in just one coat, perfect with 2 coats, does not take long to dry. Good brush makes application easy and even. Does not chip too much, can last up to good 5-6 days for me. Does not last 7 days, but lasts up to 5 days is amazing enough for me.

Who knew you could get such amazing nail polish at the supermarket at an extremely affordable price I paid $7 at our local New World supermarket. I picked up the colour eternal lilac which is definitely a beautiful lilac colour.

This polish has a nice consistency it's not runny making it hard to apply or thick and gluggy making it drag when you apply it. The brush on this is another highlight for me it's a flat brush and the corners are rounded off making it easier to apply because you don't end up painting half your fingers as well as your fingernails. I applied 2 coats of this and the only thing I really dislike about this is the drying time! After 1 coat I think I had to wait a good 20 minutes for it to dry and the second coat would have been close to an hour it was painful! I didn't apply a top coat but I did add a glitter polish to 1 nail and it dried faster and has lasted longer. By day 6 it was starting to chip but it was still very glossy and I had been a very busy bee in those 6 days I had thought it would be awesome to clean the ceilings and walls (silly idea) pick up glass out of pavers thanks to an over fed dog who thought it would be awesome to jump up on a glass table and go right through it and shatter glass everywhere.. (Dog was completely unharmed didn't even get a scratch) worked in the cattle yards for a day, milked cows and of course cook, clean, play with my kiddos so they endured a lot and still lasted and they were still all shiny and pretty.

I love this polish because of the brush making it easy and fool proof. You get a perfect finish no streaks. I can't wait for the next weekly shop a couple more will end up in the shopping trolley for sure. I have a photo on the photo wall of this colour if you want to check it out!!

These polishes are such a random love of mine! Who knew Maybelline would master nail polishes? But they have!

I have 3 colours in the range which are all pretty opaque and only require 2 coats. One thing I reeeally love is that the applicator is a large flat brush, nothing I've seen before with my other polishes, but it makes application such a breeze and means a streaky application is practically impossible. The gel finish is an added bonus, it leaves your nails looking super polished!

This polish really does last a good 7days on me without chipping. I do use a base and top coat, but I do this with all polishes. They also have a clear varnish in this range which I sometimes use as a top coat and it works well. You could also use it as a base coat!

The polish removes easily, the gel effect doesn't hinder the removal process. My one gripe with these is the colour range, it's so limited here in NZ, there's only around 8 colours, which just doesn't cater to my previously spoilt-with-choice needs. Hopefully we get some new colours soon!

Great colours, applied 3 coats ! Super shaped brush made application easy. Quick drying and lasted 5-7 days depending on life ;) have bought all the colours of this brand. I found that the first layer Id really opaque but once the 2nd coat is on the colour is great. I use 3 coats because I am sanitizing and washing my hands alot in my job. I highly reccomend this product to anyone who can't be bothered with using base coats and too coats !
