Maybelline The Colossal Cat's Eyes

This is one of my staples. I have tried a number of mascara's and this one is hands down the best so far. The brush separates my lashes and covers evenly. The formula glides on smoothly and I have not experienced any clumping unless and try put on a few coats - Def a one coat kind of product.

After my friends raving about how amazing this was, I decided it was my turn to go out and purchase it and give it a go for myself. I guess my hopes were too high, but it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be.

Firstly I thought it was overpriced for "just another mascara". I found it clumpy, and didn't really give my lashes that "Kardashian Look".

The tube is appealing, and i wasn't sure I was too happy about the curved brush... for around $30-$32 it really isn't anything to rave about.

My lashes looked clumpy and didn't really have any definition.

Think i'll stick with my favourite on this occasion, wasn't a winner for me.

Loving the wand on this mascara. It's perfect for the bottom lashes which I have always found difficult to do without making a mess. The wand is quite small compared to the other mascaras and it has quite a big curve in it which makes applying mascara a breeze. Because it's so curved and the wand isn't bulky, you're able to apply yor mascara without the wand touching the under eye area. The formula is lovely to deal with, it doesn't clump up (I tend to wipe off excess product before applying) and it's quite buildable if you don't leave it too long inbetween applications. It lasts allday and it doesn't smudge throughout the day (unless the eye area gets quite wet, rain, sweat from the heat etc) so overall it really is a great mascara.

Although this mascara does do the job it is not exceptional. The wand and brush made application for me a bit strange and lead to a few lumps which lets be honest we all want to avoid!! However it does do the job. When at full price I think it is totally unreasonable but when on sale below 10$ I think it is still a pretty good buy

I was really in two minds about this product, it gave good volume, which is what I look for in a mascara but it smudged around my eyes. I really liked the curved brush, I found it easy to coat all my lashes. If mascaras often smudge on you this product isn't for you, if not definitely give it a go!

I purchased this mascara a couple of weeks ago, It cost me 24 dollars which I think is fairly priced. I would usually only spend a max of 20 odd dollars on a mascara only because I do often get lash extensions every now and then so purchasing an inexpensive mascara would be the logical thing to do and because Im a regular user of the other mascara from the maybelline range. I like the leopard/cheeter feel of the designing on the mascara tube. I have used it for a while now and I do think that it maximises the length of my lashes. I wouldnt go as far as to say they make me look like I have cat eyes but I do like this product. I also love how its water proof. Great product would definitely be re-purchasing this mascara but maybe Ill be waiting till its on a clearance sale.

I loooove this mascara - it doesn't clump and gives really full and long lashes. I've tried a lot of more expensive ones but will always go back to this one because it's great from the start and doesn't need getting used to or extra focus

I loved this mascara at first but then using the brush without creating a mess became a challenge.I would have to put it down to beginner's luck. If you have the time and skills to master the brush it's an awesome product and your eye lashes will look feline-fabulous. Unfortunately, I have limited skills and time and ended up with eyelashes clumping together. I also felt really challenged using the brush to create symmetry between my left and right outer eye lashes. There are only so many angles my arm can maneuver into to.

I bought this mascara purely because of the packaging. i love the cute leopard type print on the tube. The wand is small which I like because this means it is a lot easier to wiggle around and get mascara on every lash. This mascara is not clumpy at all and makes my lashes very long! With this I found that I get next to no volume and an eyelash curler is a must! Two coats of this mascara is all I need for long lashes, and with the small wand, I can get right into my inner and outer lashes. The only downside to the mascara that really annoys me is that it flakes during the day and is not wearable for long. The curl from the eyelash curler doesn't last long either and my lashes end up looking flat, while mascara is flaking all over my eyes. Using a coat of waterproof mascara helps prevent this, and if I remember I will usually pop waterproof mascara over top after my second coat of the colossal cat eyes mascara. I still use this mascara everyday as I do still really like it, but after it runs out I think I will look fot another one.
