Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

I'm yet to try a Maybelline Mascara that hasn't let me down and this is no exception. I purchased this in the middle of last year in the USA and I'm so happy it's now on the market here. It gives length and volume and really makes your eyelashes look fabulous. It isn't a very wet formula, so you won't find mascara marks in your eyeshadow.

First impressions were cool, pretty stoked with price and the packaging looked funky.. First use was awesome and I thought wow my lashes look wicked! However as time has gone on ive found the mascara to be clumpy and leaves my eye lashes sticking together. I cant stand it when the product makes a mess around the top of the container and have noticed this is starting to do that. Overall the mascara does give wow factor and stays on for long periods of time but the clumpy lash feel isn't the most comfortable feeling. I feel that the brush could do with been smaller as it is very very large and bulky compared to other mascaras I have used in the past. I would be interested to try some of the other range of Maybelline mascaras that is out there

I love how this mascara is easily obtainable as quite a few places stock up and can be quite easy to pick up on special which is a bonus. The packaging is eye catching since it is bright yellow and this has probably been my go to since I was about 15. No other mascara lives up to my expectations like this one.

With one really decent coat this mascara gives my lashes the most amazing volume that makes me look like I'm wearing falsies (And thank goodness I'm not really, I'm atrocious at putting them on) it just makes my lashes look amazing and full which is exactly what I want. It's fairly easy to tone it down as well for no make up make up days with just a thin layer you can achieve nice natural looking lashes with minimal effort.

It also has amazing staying power and can last on my lashes without flaking for 12+ hours on the odd occasion that I wear mascara for that long. Will definitely continue to repurchase until I find something even more amazing than this (Which I think will be quite difficult!).

First off, the brush on this is really really good, especially for long lashes and big eyes like mine. It picks them all up, has enough bristles that you can easily wiggle it at your lashline, and provides enough product on the wand. If you have shorter lashes and/or smaller eyes, I can imagine the size of the wand would be a bit trickier to use! I prefer the non-waterproof formula over the waterproof formula as it's easier to use and much much easier to get off.

My daughter owned this Mascara and was always saying how good it is, so I purchased it. I wasn't expecting much she has long eyelashes I don't! I was thinking it was her lashes that made it good. I was so surprised! It instantly lengthened my lashes, I even achieved curl. The black is a great choice. It is however a bit clumpy , but I like that look. I would highly recommend this Mascara.

My sister told me to buy this mascara the other day, which i did and i am so happy with it. Probably one of the best mascaras i have used in a long time and not badly priced either. I have quite short eyelashes and this mascara gives them not volum' but length also.

I LOVE THIS, This is my favourite mascara, makes me look like i have super long & thick eyelashes, looks great without eyeliner too, I also recommended it to my Mum who has the shortest eyelashes and it makes hers look great too, and even better its so cheap! at the make up sales can buy this mascara for around $10

As I was nearing the stage I needed a new mascara, I turned to BR for advice on which one to get. Putting my faith in your reviews I bought it! This is now forever going to be must have for my make up bag. It made my lashes look fuller and longer than any other mascara has ever done and it just made it so worth every cent. The only downfall was the occasional clumps that came out on the brush.

I brought this in the waterproof and when I went home to try it on I was fairly impressed with it. The one thing I really love about this is the brush and as I have run out of the product it self, i wash out the product and reuse the wand and I think that this is what makes it so good. The waterproof formula actually holds the curl in and I was also pleasantly surprised by that as I had tried a Maybelline water proof formula before and it didn't work. Overall this product being very great, I would definitely repurchase again

This product is excellent for girls who want longer fuller lashes. It is reasonably priced and lasts a long time as you only need to apply a couple of layers. one of my friends reccomended Maybelline Volum' express to me and i would definitely recommend to others. It is easy to remove at the end of the day and does not give you a over done made up look.
