Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

This is a fantastic mascara. One of my absolute favourites. The brush is soft on my lashes, very sturdy and thick and the end of it gets to all those hard to reach places like your corner lashes. It's easy to apply - occasionally it can come out clumpy but it's easily fixed. It dries quickly and seperates your lashes well. I use two coats to get the best look for me and is one of my everyday mascaras! Have repurchased 3 times now!

My hands down favourite drug store mascara of all time. I keep going back to it. However, it can get a wee bit clumpy but it doesn't bug me too much. It gives me amazing length and volume. I wouldn't use too many layers of this though as it can give you spider-leg lashes.

Since I first found this mascara about 3 tubes ago I haven't swapped and am constantly stoked with how good a job it does! Huge lashes all the way!!

So I felt like my lashes were thicker heavier etc, but I think that is just the heavy cakey nature of this product, it felt clumpy and didn't give me the look I wanted. Tended to look cheap on.

I've heard so many good reviews on this mascara. So I decided id give it a go! Firstly it went on clumpy which I didn't like!! Secondly I don't like the brush on it it's to big. It's not a horrible mascara but I was expecting a lot better.

My history with Maybelline products has been very hit or miss - some I've tried and really liked, others have been complete duds. I was a bit skeptical about trying this as my Volum' Express Mega Plush was such a disapointment, but it was on special so I took the plunge.

I have this in black and I have to say I was very impressed. The wand of the mascara is nice and sturdy and I love the shape of the brush, it's rather wide and bushy with a slim tip that's great for getting corner lashes. I find it coats your lashes evenly, leaving them looking nice and full but without the spider-leg look or clumping. The formula itself is also pretty great, the pigment is lovely and dark and stays put nicely all day without smudging.

This mascara does give volume but I think it's claims are definately exaggerated! Still it's a great everyday mascara and I would use it as that again.

I like this mascara but I didnt feel it created collosal anything with one stroke. If I apply several brushes worth it gave a great look, but nothing that I would say stood out from the ordinary. As far as mascaras go this is a great every day wear, but If your looking for an evening WOW look then for me this wouldnt be my first choice.

I've had a spotty past with Maybelline mascara for me they've been entirely hit or miss. For me, when they hit - they are awesome. When they miss... They're terrible. I was excited to try this as I received it as a gift and the packaging reminded me heaps of the Colossal Cats Eye mascara.

I love the brush on this - a mascara is only as good as it's wand and this wand is awesome. It's nice and bushy and quite large but it gets right into my lashes and coats them evenly. The wand doesn't tug or pull my lashes out and is comfortable to use.

I love how full and separated my lashes look after applying this - I have thick lashes so it's difficult for me to find something that doesn't turn them into a clump of eyelash haha. This doesn't and I love that.

The pigment, as with most of the Maybe Line mascaras I've tried, is awesome, dark and very black. It dries fairly quickly and once on it didn't budge on me.

I will purchase this when my current one runs out (I was given this one as a gift), and I recommend it for anyone who wants a great everyday mascara.

I really really love this mascara. It's one that doesn't cost a fortune and you can keep coming back to time and again.

The formula is perfect for a mascara and your lashes get a good coating and look long, full and fabulous looking lashes everytime.

This is a really good everyday mascara - and it was a cult favourite when it came out and I think it pretty much still is a favourite of many women.
