Maybelline Volume Express Mascara - Falsies Flared

This mascara makes me actually like the look of my lashes! It flares them up and the shape of the wand really gets in where it needs to be. It stays on and it doesn't seem to smudge for me. If i get it somewhere it doesn't need to be I immediately use a wet cotton bud and it cleans up nicely. As much as I love this mascara I still use a trial size Elizabeth Arden mascara for my lower lashes as it doesn't seem to work as well on my wee lashes.

I got this from a discount website after reading reviews on BR and am very happy with it. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it really goes add volume and length with only one coat. I wear one coat at work on during the day on the weekend but to get an even better effect I apply a couple of coats if I'm going out at night and it really makes my lashes pop.

I have been dying to try this mascara. I finally brought it from the brand outlet store - what a score that was. I was so excited to use it and had high hopes. This definately makes my short straight lashes look longer and thicker. But I'm not a huge fan of the clumps. At first I thought I had gotten a dud or was doing it wrong - been wearing makeup for half my life so that can't be. In all honesty I expected something far better from this product however I will still continue to wear it.

I brought this in a hurry as we were going somewhere and had forgot to bring mine I love the purple tube it comes in I think that's what caught my eye first.

This is a black mascara with a nice consistency. I love the curved wand I do find it easy to apply having the curved wand and particularly getting into the corners of my eyes. My lashes are I would say average not overly long and not short also not overly thick or thin. I apply 2 coats and it stays put all day. I do find it goes clumpy if I apply more than 2 coats. It doesn't smudge or melt It lasts all day as long as I don't rub my eyes.

I do find it difficult to remove. It doesn't come off as easily and requires a fair amount of rubbing. And sometimes when I think I have got it all off I notice it under my eyes the following morning. Overall I think it is a good standard mascara

I adore the colour of the packaging, one of my favourite colours so I find that very cute and the handle quite ergonomic.

the brush is lovely too with a curve for perfect mascara placement and has a wobbly head to get into the corners.

I do have to say that when I first tried it after buying I was less than impressed. But after giving it another go I was actually very happy with this product.

There are ZERO clumps, my lashes are longer and look amazing, especially my lower lashes. I would not however call it especially volumizing. after 2 or 3 coats it gives an amazing appearance and finishes off any look.

can be worn as a daily mascara or built up for that night time glam look.

all in all i am very happy with this mascara and would certainly purchase it again.

This is a fairly good mascara but I personally feel like Maybelline have done better. I don't really think this mascara does a great job lifting the lashes and it even makes my lashes clump together very easily. It is hard to remove and smudges on me. I would recommend other Maybelline mascaras over this one.

This mascara is amazing! It give you full, long lashes and stays on amazingly even if its not waterproof. Its quite clumpy but if you brush it out and dont apply too much its an easy problem to get rid off. Overall amazing product, makes my lashes look like heaven :) definitely worth the purchase

I find a few coats is required, but this is quite a 'wet' mascara so sometimes I get marks on the skin where my lashes sit. I find it takes 2-3 coats to get a look I'm happy with, but sometimes the wet consistency of the product means clumps, but a lash brush fixes that.

The waterproof formula sticks like the proverbial to a blanket and the washable formula comes off quite nicely. I love the length it gives and the volume as well. I'm allergic to latex based false lash glue, so this is often as close as I'll get to falsies.

I have a love - hate relationship with this mascara. I hate it when its brand new, it makes my lashes stick and clump together and look a mess. So I have to use an older mascara wand to separate my lashes - frustrating! But I put up with this as a few weeks later its like a completely different mascara. it doesn't clump and makes my lashes longer, darker and with more volume. I don't know what this is to do with ? maybe its the mascara drying out a bit and its not so liquidy ? One other problem I do find is that because it makes my lashes so long they touch the skin under my brow bone and smudges a bit on my skin but I put up with this for long lush lashes haha! I'm yet to find my holy grail mascara so ill stick with this one in the mean time!

I am a little makeup obsessed and I am very fussy. I have tried many different hi-end mascaras and I have found that in general, when it comes to mascara you just can't beat Maybelline. This Mascara makes lashes look long and full and I have had no problems with clumping, even on my lower lashes.
