Maybelline Volume Express Mascara - Falsies Flared

While this mascara does indeed add a decent amount of length and volume, it is super clumpy and I find myself picking at it all day! It also comes off quite messily which makes it essential to remove completely if you don't want to stain your pillowcases. I think this could be a decent product if it was less clumpy and flaky but that's a deal breaker for me.

I have been dying to try this mascara. I finally brought it from the brand outlet store - what a score that was. I was so excited to use it and had high hopes. This definately makes my short straight lashes look longer and thicker. But I'm not a huge fan of the clumps. At first I thought I had gotten a dud or was doing it wrong - been wearing makeup for half my life so that can't be. In all honesty I expected something far better from this product however I will still continue to wear it.

I brought this in a hurry as we were going somewhere and had forgot to bring mine I love the purple tube it comes in I think that's what caught my eye first.

This is a black mascara with a nice consistency. I love the curved wand I do find it easy to apply having the curved wand and particularly getting into the corners of my eyes. My lashes are I would say average not overly long and not short also not overly thick or thin. I apply 2 coats and it stays put all day. I do find it goes clumpy if I apply more than 2 coats. It doesn't smudge or melt It lasts all day as long as I don't rub my eyes.

I do find it difficult to remove. It doesn't come off as easily and requires a fair amount of rubbing. And sometimes when I think I have got it all off I notice it under my eyes the following morning. Overall I think it is a good standard mascara

This is a fairly good mascara but I personally feel like Maybelline have done better. I don't really think this mascara does a great job lifting the lashes and it even makes my lashes clump together very easily. It is hard to remove and smudges on me. I would recommend other Maybelline mascaras over this one.

The pretty purple tube of this mascara caught my eye while at the supermarket oneday. I had to buy it and try it out.

The consistency of the black mascara was smooth and went on my natural lashes easy. The curved wand helped as I was able to get in the corners of my lashes and across my lash line with ease. It didn't smudge or rub off as long as I didn't accidently rub or scratch my eye area. It seemed to last the day. It made my natural lashes a little thicker and look longer.

It's quite hard to remove so a decent make up remover would be ideal.

Great for a every day mascara for a more fuller lash look.

This is an ok mascara, Im not a fan of the formula, but i like the brush. I like the look this mascara gives my lashes but i only reach for this if i have nothing else, i will repurchase if its has a really low sale price.

I thought id try this mascara to give the false lash thickness and volume but it failed to do so. Im not usually a fan of the bristle brushes i prefer the silicone ones that separate the lashes well, this one started out clumpy and thick and i didnt really like it... I found it got better as i went through more of the product as i think when new too much came out on the brush. Wouldnt buy this one again personally especially for this price.

Maybelline always makes pretty decent mascaras and this included. This is definitely one of those mascaras that get better after it's dried out a little bit, otherwise at first you can get a little too much product on the brush that makes your lashes clump.

This is just one of the many Maybelline mascara I have used. I tried this one after months of wearing eyelash extensions my lashes had become short and damaged.

The brush is very flexible and bends easily to get amongs even the shortest of lashes. The formula is rather dry and I'm not particularly fussed on the smell.

I have mixed feelings about this mascara. I love that it really separates and defines and transforms my stubby lashes into long beautiful ones but the formula is very flakey when it dries and can clump easily if you do more then a few coats. Definitely not a Mascara to use if you are in a hurry.

I really liked this product when i got it a year or so ago. It gave me lovely long lashes and the curve of the brush made it super easy to apply to all of your lashes. Main problem i had with this mascara was the fact that it went hard and clumpy after being open 6 months. That is a long time to not use up one mascara but i like to have a couple of different mascaras at one time for different looks.
