The first uses of the liquid pen was really good and opaque, but i feel like once I used it multiple times - the opaqueness of the black went away, making it really watery and smudged quite easily. Really quite disappointing that it did this as I thought this would be one of my holy grail.

Mellow Liquid Precision Pen Eyeliner Review
Striking eyes for every occasion!
Mellow's Liquid Precision Pen Eyeliner makes liquid lining super fast and easy. This long lasting super black formula creates the thinnest or thickest winged liner in one sweep, and gives eyes a bolder look without having to try too hard.

Mellow Cosmetics has amazing products which are affordable too. The precision pen eyeliner is one of them. I've repurchased this several times due to my love of this.
It glides on the eyelids with ease and creating the cat eye look is so easy with this. The black is highly pigmented which gives it that dark eyeliner look. It's also very long lasting on the eyelids.
It's my favourite liquid eyeliner at the moment. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a step up with the pencil eyeliner.
Tips: After applying the eyeliner, let it dry before opening your eyelids otherwise black lines will appear on the crease.
This was my first ever eyeliner, I got this in a bellabox and a month later I got another one from a look fantastic box, so I’ll be set with eyeliners for a while.
This was good to practice with and I find it really easy to draw a tight line over my lashes and I even tried a tiny wing as well and worked great. Very easy to use, affordable enough for beginners, so wouldn’t feel like wasting an expensive liner to practice with. :)
Very black as well and it lasts well for me, but I usually have a primer on my eyelids that’s been set with powder prior to using it, so not sure if it would smudge without proper priming first.
Overall, I’m very happy with this product, although I don’t purchase Mellow cosmetic products, I always only get them in beauty boxes. The reason being is they say it’s designed and tested in New Zealand, but they fail to mention how all their products are actually being made in China. This explains why their products are so affordable, but I feel like they’re a bit sneaky, trying to “sell themselves” as a New Zealand brand.
This eyeliner pen came in a BBBE. I use tons of eye liner so was pleased to see it.It took me a while to use it, as I thought it was a pencil - style and had two in use already. When I finally opened it, I was surprised to find it has a felt tip.
It comes in a black and gold tube, that looks classy and is easy to hold and use. The tip is thicker than the eye liner I current use and though it might not get a very thin line. It doesn't line as thinly as my regular one, but it is still surprisingly good. It is also drier which is good as it means there's no drip. I haven't noticed any smudging so far either.
Overall, a very good eye liner. My current one is no longer available in NZ and I was wondering what I'd use instead. This will be a worthy replacement. At $18 it is a little cheaper as well - bonus :)
The black is solid, not to wet. Dries to a slightly shiny black. The pen makes it easy to apply from thin to thick. It lasts a few hours before it smudges or transfers into my upper eyelid. Needs to be reapplied or it just looks smudged and messy. Would not purchase again.
Tips: Have on hand for reapplication.
Really great eyeliner that lasts for aaaaages! These are my favourite types of eyeliner because the pen makes application so easy and flawless every time. You can create perfect thin lines, standout thick lines, and everything in between. Overall I’m very happy with this product, but if I had to complain about one thing it’s that it can smudge onto my eyelids a bit (I’ve got this problem with most products due to very hooded eyes...). However, I can remedy this problem by applying over eye shadow and layering a translucent powder on top. The line is still black and stays in place all day.
