Revitanail 2 Step Revival Kit

I was very excited to use these. I have nails that start to grow ok but then snap. The regime for these was very easy, 2 coats of the strengthener on the first day, then 1 coat for 6 days. Each day you use the oil and rub it into the cuticles and nail after you have put the strengthener. After 7 days use nail polish remover to take it off then start again from the beginning. On the first 4 days, the strengthener gave my nails a pearlish look, sort of like a French manicure, they looked amazing as the days went on they started to look slightly dirty. It made my nails very hard from the first week. They looked really good an felt great after the first week of doing the regime. The oil is put on everyday, not too much. Rub it into the nail and the cuticles. I would definitely buy the two again as I think after the whole time using it, my nails were in better condition.

I’m pretty happy with my results, I almost don’t recognise my own nails. While my nails aren’t super crazy long they are the longest they have been in some time, they usually peel and break so easily and can be extremely prone to snapping if I attempt to grow them. They now look really healthy and are strong without snapping so they have just the right amount of bend to them.

I found the system super easy to use and love that the revitanail strengthener and the oil don’t take long to dry so I can continue my day without having to wait around for ages for my nails to dry. I like that both the products are not high in fragrance which makes them very pleasant to use, especially before bedtime.

Overall I’m really happy with how my nails are looking and will continue with the system for a few more rounds and see how they progress from here. Thanks so much beauty review for the chance to try this out, its really nice to be able to show my nails off instead of covering them in shame ;)

I was so excited to receive this duo in the mail and see if it would actually help my nails, because they certainly needed all the help they could get!!! My nails have been so weak, peeling, splitting etc. All I wanted was for them to grow so I could do some cute nail art on them :P

I like the concept of this system, I found it quite therapeutic/relaxing to apply this everyday and then remove it at the end of the week and start again fresh. It was easy to use the Nail Strengthener, it's not too runny or too thick, and it dries down pretty quickly.

I was concerned that the Nourishing Oil would be too oily and mess with the application of the Strengthener, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. It too was easy to apply as it has a nail polish type applicator, and it sinks into the skin fairly quickly. It doesn't have an unpleasant smell either, it's almost like BioOil in it's fragrance. The Nail Strengthener does smell quite strong, but it's just like applying nail polish, do it in a ventilated area and you're fine.

I was quite excited to see this product working on my nails. From the second week of application I noticed my nails were no longer splitting, and they weren't peeling either. I have been wary in the past to use nail strengtheners/hardners as I was told that it can be counterproductive, your nails can break more easily as they become too hard. I think the combination with the Nourishing Oil creates the perfect balance of hydrated nails, whilst still keeping them strong.

My nails lasted well for my birthday and a university ball, but I have now had to cut and file them down for kickboxing :( I will definitely continue to use the duo, as instructed (it's not recommended for long term, I guess think of it as that extra TLC).

I have reviewed each of these products separately so there's a combination I feel they work great together and I would assume that they would work great separately as well as they both do two different things.

My nails are definitely stronger as they are currently at a linked that they would normally break and they haven't yet. My cuticles look a lot more healthier and don't peel like they used to.

I will put an up-to-date photo on the photo wall tonight as i am really happy. My nails aren't perfect looking yet but I feel that within another week or so they will look even better.

I would repurchase these products in the future and I do recommend them.

Both products come in the Revitanail red and black boxed which look really smart. The nail strengthener is similar to a clear nail polish and easy to apply.My nails have improved so much with following the cycle and currently in the gap week and my nails are still hard and strong against the soft flakey nails I had at the beginning of this process. The smell is strong but soon disappears and the product on my nails just looks like a clear polish. The nourishing oil has improved my cuticles and repaired some dry skin with regular massage. The mix of oils in this product is really good with apricot oil ,almond and jojoba as part of the ingredients. The combination of these two products has really improved my nails and cuticles and as I am an avid gardener I have tested to the limit. Both products are easy to apply and worth the small effort it takes to use. Only problem I had was removing the strengthener however small price to pay.

I love this little duo! They are great on their own but even better together

The strengthener definitely hardens the nail, especially if you stick to the regime as documented on the packaging. I definitely had a noticeble improvement in my nails. Not to mention a glossy effect on the nails.

After using the strengthener the oil was perfect for nourishing the cuticles and fingers and definitely made up for the smell of the strengthener.

Will reccomend this to friends and even start on my toes to see what it will do there!

After 4 weeks of using this trio I'm still not sure if I am completely sold. A few of my nails have done extremely well and I've gained quite a bit of length on some of them, but I'm not sure that they are all much stronger, I have been trying to take extra care in looking after my hands and nails while trialing these products.

I found that the polish would often come away from the sides and start to sort of peel off, then once I took the polish off my nails would start to snag and peel, so frustrating!

The cuticle oil was okay, but not too sure how much of a difference it has made, I usually use a hand cream during the day and I feel like they both do the same thing, do not sure if I need an extra product just for cuticles?

I do love how shiny and healthy my nails have been looking (apart from when the polish starts looking a bit crusty haha), also the product goes a very long way, this will last me easily another few months which is awesome.

I got this set as a gift from the mama as a self pamper present. was never really a big fan of manicure type things, mostly because I don't have the time or effort to do so. At the time of receiving these I was milking cows. My hands were constantly wet and covered in poop and chemicals. My nails were non existent almost. They were brittle, peeling and broken. I didn't feel confident to show them at all. As a result these were bought for me and oh the difference.

The bottles are quite generous in size so the value is definitely there in that respect. It is a 4 week program which I felt was a lot of effort for me personally to stick to but my nails were so damaged I was willing to give it a go. The instructions say to brush on two coats of the strengthener on the first day and apply one coat each day for a week then remove and start again. On each day you apply the nourishing oil to the cuticles, massaging it in. I was worried that the strengthener may not stick or peel off because of the oil but it definitely works in harmony together and I didn't find that at all. It does have some wear on it from everyday activities but otherwise it's pretty robust. Even after the first 5 days I noticed a huge difference in the appearance and they were no longer breaking. My cuticles weren't bleeding and cracked like they had been either. Winning already and we are only at day 5!

The cuticle nourishing oil isn't as oily as you would think and it doesn't leave your hands slippery like I was imagining it would. It sinks in to the skin pretty quickly and I have grown to like massaging my fingers every morning.....weird I know but it's a small pampering win when it comes to my nails. The thing I like about this duo is that even though it's for the nails as a polish and oil it's not overly smelly of harsh chemicals like alot of nail polishes are. It mean's I can apply it anywhere without the husband getting a headache.

We are now at day 20 and the difference is night and day! Although my nails will always need help because they are always in water they are so much healthier looking than I could imagine. They have grown so much to the point that they look like girls nails now yay. There is no more flaking/peeling or breakages. They are so strong that after having my finger trod on my a yearling my nail didn't break, nor my finger for that matter luckily. They are in the best condition of my adult life!

Day 39.....we reached the end of the system and the bottles are empty. My nails were in excellent condition!! I have already repurchased to carry on with the procedure. I am now pregnant and my nails are lacking in so much goodness. They are beginning to go backwards so time to begin the treatment over. I'm a believer!

My nails have always been brittle and weak. They can sometimes get folded backwards (ouch!) and can tear really easily.

The pack comes with super clear instructions.

The strengthener smells quite strong like a regular nail polish. It did make my nails feel stronger and less brittle. You only need a bit of it on each nail and the bottle will really last a long time.

The oil doesn’t have a smell at all. I was expecting really greasy feeling fingers afterwards but the oil soaks in quite quickly.

I would probably use the oil more than the strengthener because it helps to hydrate the cuticle and the skin around my nails which is quite dry at times.

I wear nail polish every day, hardly ever giving my nails a rest. Going into the trial, my nails were flaking, peeling, and brittle. My cuticles were torn, and my nails were brittle. I really wanted an amazing duo to make it worth me forgoing my polish for 4 ish weeks. Going out of the trial, my nails do feel stronger, however my cuticles feel mostly unchanged.

I followed the instructions as religiously as I could. I love that the Strengthener dried pretty quickly, especially on the days I only had to apply one coat. Plus since it was clear, even if it did smudge, it was invisible to the naked eye. It also made it easy to rub the cuticle oil in without worrying about dislodging the Strengthener.

As far as I can tell, the Strengthener did the job. One of my nails was peeling slightly going into the trial, and in the end I had to chop the nail as it just got progressively worse despite the strengthener being applied on it. I guess this is forgivable as the damage was already there, but I also found on another nail, I got some weird ridge going on? I do like that there’s no new peeling, but maybe the ridge is from the nail getting ‘stronger’? It’s hard to tell at this point, and I do have a ridge filler for when I’m wearing polish - I just hope it hasn’t made my nails more ‘ridgey’ in exchange for the new found strength. The Strengthener gave a slight gloss which was nice, but it was slightly tricky to remove since (obviously) it is clear, so it’s hard to see what you’ve removed and what’s remaining on the nail.

The Oil felt nice going on, and it made my cuticles shiny however wasn’t overly greasy which was nice. It was easy to apply, and I love that a little goes a long way so it will last a super long time. I found the brush wasn’t too stiff or anything, so it was easy enough to apply. At $17 RRP though? No, I definitely wouldn’t repurchase. It felt and looked nourishing going on, but my cuticles look like they are in exactly the same condition they were at the beginning of the trial - they are still torn on some of my nails, and quite rough. I was applying the oil almost everyday, so it is quite disappointing to not see a noticeable result. Maybe I needed to apply a lot more?

I think the Strengthener has improved my nail condition, and I will continue to use the cuticle oil and I hope there is a change in my cuticles. I feel like for both products, there is probably a better alternative out there that probably comes at a better price point. No where on the instructions did it say I could use it under nail polish. I assume I couldn’t since I had to add a new layer each day, but I think a product where I can use it under nail polish would suit me best, since although the results of the Strengthener are great, I can’t fully appreciate them since my nails are still stained. I am definitely happy with how the Strengthener has made my nails stronger and I am very impressed that I can’t see any new peeling or splits.
