Nars Orgasm Blush

This is the first nars product that I've ever used. The blush in orgasm is such a talked about product in the beauty world and although it's a lot of money to spend on one product, I decided to give it a go.

nars has nice sleek black packaging. I guess it doesn't reflect how expensive this brand is but only because it reminds me of elf packaging and that is a super cheap Brand!

Upon opening, you get a nice big mirror and a beautiful looking blush. It's a rosy looking pink with a gorgeous gold shimmer throughout. This swatches out really beautifully on my Palm, although it's not immediately super pigmented. I do like that though, as it means you can build the color up rather then going from zero to clown in 2 seconds.

When applied to my cheeks, this product blends onto my skin so well and gives a nice golden highlight which means you don't need to apply a separate highlighter. The colour goes on as a perfect pinky coral, this is one of my favourite blush colours.The wear time is great, it lasts all day on my skin and outlasts the rest of my face makeup usually.

so why don't I really love This? Well unfortunately, the gold shimmer Is tiny little bits of glitter which seem to exaggerate my cheek pores and I also find the glitter falls onto other parts of my face. I really don't want glitter on my nose!

I am going to either sell or swap this blush, it is beautiful, just not the right fit for Me!

This is my first ever NARS blusher and ok I brought it 1) for the great reviews 2) as I love me a good peachy coral blush and 3) I love the name!!!!!!!

The packaging of the blusher is exactly the same as any NARS powder type product, it has a square slim black casing that is slightly tactile to the touch that opens up to reveal a small mirror on the inside of the lid and a blaze of pressed powder on the bottom half.

Colour of orgasm is intense it is incredibly pigmented and should come with a warning label as I went in with a big old blush brush, swirled it up and spotted it onto my cheeks to be faced with big peachy orange glowing marks that were far to bright and obvious for my skin tone, and no matter how hard I blended it out I had to remove and start again. It does blend well don't get me wrong as on the second application where I went on more lightly and built up the colour slowly it melted as I blended it into the contour and highlighter on my face giving a nice flawless cover that brighten my face up immensely. The peachy orange blush has a flourish of gold shimmer built in that becomes more prominent as you swirl your brush and blend, its a pretty effect that reflects the light and not only gives you a healthy look but a brighter more youthful look.

Like I said I love this blusher and see myself reaching for it at least 2-3 times a week. I have also used this as a crease transition colour on my eyelids and that golden shimmer it emits makes my eyes pop! it is truly a gifted blush

The packaging is so nice just like all the other nars products and it isnt too big so its easy to store.

The blush itself is a beatuiful peachy/coral with a hint of golden shimmer which is beeeeautiful!

Its not super pigmented which is great because it allows you to build it to your own preference.

This was my first ever NARS blush and I am so stoked I choose it! It seems like it would be great with all different skin tones and definitely is an amazing summer blush!

Nars, Nars, Nars, how you've made me almost forget that a blush called orgasm is actually kinda weird. It's a very standard pinkish with a hint or coral colour and crap loads of glitter. The glitter doesn't show up and it leaves such a natural flush on the cheeks that you can never go wrong with this blush. It's not the blush I reach for all the time these days, I prefer Madly by Nars more; however I do love this. I will note that I do think it is a tad over hyped. Yes it's pretty, but I can live with out it. After all I would say my life has been okay before Nars Orgasm came along and cut me $40 short.

There is a reason NARS' orgasm is so popular and it isn't because of the name... Prior to using this I hadn't tried any NARS products but was super stoked when this came in a kit that I ordered from Sephora.

Orgasm is beautifully packaged (I am giggling like a teenaged boy every time I write the 'O' word), with a matte black rubber casing. Inside is a mirror which is super helpful for on the go.

The colour is the most beautiful peach/pink shade with tiny gold microglimmers. These translate as a gorgeous glow that is similar to the glow you get from having a... you get the gist haha. If you prefer matte blushes then this may not be the shade for you. However, if you like a glowy look then you absolutely need this.

One thing to be aware of is that this isn't super pigmented but it is buildable. Personally I like this because it means there is a very low risk of accidentally applying too much and looking like you have run a marathon, as opposed to having a sexy glow that your bed friend gave you this morning...

It feels soft to the touch and I haven't had any issues with blotchiness when applying this. It blends very easily and looks really natural - which is something I love about this. It isn't super obvious you are wearing a blush; rather it looks like you are withholding a dirty secret...

This tends to stay on my face all day without any need for touch ups - as this is my first high end blush, I was shocked when I saw my face glowing after a 10 hour day.

This is an expensive blush and, prior to using it, I wouldn't have forked out $50 for it. After using it... I would. It is such a flattering and beautiful shade.

If you have the spare cash I definitely recommend trying this. I can't think of any skin tones it wouldn't suit and it is extremely popular for a reason - because it is beautiful.

I love this blush i use it almost every day ! I dont like blushes that are too pink but i think this blush is the perfect mix of a peachy pink shade. I also love the shimmer in it because I find it livens up my pale skin instantly. love.

Love this blush! This is my everyday, the colour is gorgeous and the sparkles just add a little something extra. As there is quite a bit of sparkle, for day time I only use a small amount. But still gorgeous!

On first impression i love the colour of this blush in the pan, the beautiful pinky peach shade with the gold flecks in is absolutely stunning! However i think for the price point of this blush the pigmentation and colour pay off could be alot better. It takes a few applications to build up a healthy glow and even then i dont find it lasts very long on my skin. Overall was a little disappointed with this blush.

This was my first ever Nars product. Now I think about it I'm not sure why I haven't bought any other Nars blushes as this one is amazing. I am extremely pale and I love this blush to liven up my face. The packaging is the usual Nars packaging, black with a rubberized finish. I like that their isn't any excess packaging. I find the pigmentation of this great. However not too overpowering you don't have to be too careful with applying this. The peachy pink with a slight golden shimmer looks great on my pale skin tone. But equally with a deeper skin tone you applied this more it would look great. I find that this lasts on me most of the day also. There is a reason this is a holy grail for many!
