I recently purchased this product in the colour 'Deuville', i always wanted this foundation because every beauty blogger seemed to be raving about it and when i finally got it i had mixed feelings. Don't get me wrong i do really like it but i think this definitely not glowy on its own but matched with the right primer it could be. If you're like me and aren't looking for a matte finish then maybe investing in a good skin illuminating or light reflecting primer will give this foundation the extra glow that will leave you looking flawless.

Tips: I recommend this for people with dry to normal skin. Pair with a good primer and maybe a dewy finishing spray for a flawless finish.
If you are willing to shell out the cash for a decent foundation which is pale enough and the right tone then you can't go wrong with Nars Sheer glow - Siberia and Mont Blanc are extremely pale shades with neutral to yellow bases which are hard to find in most makeup brands - infact I can't find a match in Estee Lauder, MAC, Lancome or Clinique so that is really saying something.
Tips: This is a sheer makeup - the name says it all, don't go expecting full coverage from this one its lovely if you want a light coverage with no cakey-ness.
This is a beautiful foundation with a medium/heavy coverage. While I love the finish it is definitely not a glowing foundation. It is more satin borderline matte so is great for all skin tones. Mont Blanc is my match and is perfect, really easily to blend.
Tips: It actually works the best with fingers and the warmth allows it blend well without drying
This stuff is the bomb dot com!!!! A bit on the pricier side of foundation but definately worth the investment. It does everything it says it does. I bought the colour Fiji and it is a great match. The foundation provides a dewy finish and I have pretty oily skin so find that no matter what liquid foundation I use I haveto apply powder-p.s it is not a sheer foundation and def provides a good coverage without looking cakey which is what I was looking for too so once again Nars I am impressed! :D
This foundation comes in a classic looking glass bottle with the standard black Nars logo and black lid. It doesn't come with a pump but one can be purchased separately if required.
This sets reasonably fast, and I find is applied best with a brush then finished off with a beauty sponge. It gives a solid medium coverage, which I boost the coverage with in my blemish prone areas with a little powder foundation. The name Sheer Glow made me think that this would be a super dewy foundation; not the case. It feels set to touch but has a bit of luminosity to it- it really does give the impression of healthy glowy skin. I also like the way this sits on my skin throughout the day, it lasts well, and doesn't settle into my pores (although it can settle a little into fine lines). I also don't find that this gets cakey at all, it just looks very 'skin' like.
I really do think that this lives up to the hype, it is one of the nicer foundations I have tried (although I wouldn't quite give it HG status). It is one of the few foundations that I would repurchase when I run out.
With Stila primer, this foundation is sooo beautiful.. I absolutely love it! But with some of my other primers, it doesn't look as good. When my skin is super dry, this foundation tends to look cakey, even though it's meant to be for dry skin! Regardless, I do really like this foundation and it is my go to high-end foundation
Im on too try something new after my bottle has run out so i went for nars as i like a good coverage but not that cakey feeling so far im really enjoying it i need to change my brush to a spounge an use a better powder and i think ill hav3 a winner it is more in the pricey side but i really wanted to give it a go i
I have combination skin, oily t zone but dry ever where else. I find that this foundation is very moisturising and due to it being a sheer build able coverage it doesn’t flake on my skin.
Tips: If your in a hurry this is great to apply just to tone out the skin.
I have bought this foundation due to all the positive reviews and this is such a hyped up product, I just had to have it. I was so sure it would be amazing, as I’ve bought Nars longwear radiant foundation a week before this and it amazed me. I only chose that one first as that one came with a pump as well. I still don’t have a pump for this foundation, I know it only costs $6 at mecca, but I think for the price it should be included. Plus other negative is that after you put the pump on, the lid (obviously) won’t fit, so it’s not travel friendly at all, unless you want to risk wasting expensive foundation. The formula is very nice and it provides a great finish, not too shiny, not too matte. However it doesn’t last the whole day, not even half a day for me, even though I set it with powder as well. I have skin that is on the drier end, only my t-zone plays up most of the time, so if you have a full on oily skin I wouldn’t recommend getting this one, but then again I’ve read lots of reviews from oily skin types that it was great for them, so maybe ask for a sample first.
Tips: Pump is $6 at mecca maxima. :)
I found this foundation so perfect when I lived in England. I used it for years and absolutely swore by it. It gives a lovely coverage, gave me flawless skin all day, and made my skin radiant. I also tried the matte version which wasn't for me - made my skin look so so dull. Anyway, since moving to NZ I have switched to Cliniques CC cream as I found the Nars too heavy for the warmer climate. It made me feel 'caked' in foundation and if you're in the sun and get warm it can go really shiny. Maybe I'll switch back though, come winter this side of the globe! Overall, a great foundation, lovely coverage but dries quickly so you need to blend it fast. This is beneficial though is you have any pimples or problem areas as you can let it thicken a minute and the coverage is thicker over redness, and the staying power of this foundation is great. Flawless skin, morning til night.
Tips: Great foundation but wear something lighter in warm weather. Apply wth a foundation brush as opposed to finger tips for better, smoother application
