Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

This is my holy grail foundation! I love to use this for every day use and for also when I am going out in the evenings (just applied a little heavier).

I have combination skin and this sits just so flawlessly on my skin, if for any reason I'm looking a little shiny in the day I just touch up with a little powder, which is rare to need to do anyway.

This foundation is so buildable and just gives such a beautiful finish! It always last me all day and I have never had any issues with it wearing off/breakouts or anything like that.

I had been using the same foundation for 8 years!! I have never ventured off so once my last bottle of "colourstay" was gone I wanted to experiment and get a high end foundation with great reviews. I wanted to try it before buying to I knew I was getting the perfect colour. So I drove 1.5hours away to the closest Mecca. The lady colour matched me to "Fiji" After applying my primer I used one pump on he back of my hand ( was almost too much product) I dotted it all over my face and started to blend with my kabuki brush and was very impressed with the coverage and it reminded me a bit of my trusty "Colourstay" which gave me a breath of fresh air. I could not believe how so little product went such a long way! I pretty much used half a pump for my whole face. The colour was perfect on me and it blended out perfectly.

During the way I noticed the foundation was staying super well apart from around my sunglasses area that needed to be re blended every now and then. I loved the appearance of my skin I looked like I was glowing naturally. This foundation is full coverage but it doesn't look cakey at all. I have tried using a beauty blender aswel and this is a great way to blend away extra product left behind as I said before a little goes along way and I can be heavy handed sometimes so it's a great way to pick up product. this foundation it's great for night time wear like dancing/clubbing it stays all night and its sweat proof ! I have no regrets and the price is totally worth it

If you havent heard about this product? Well, you would be living under the same rock i was about this time last year. The only reason i even found it was because i was on the hunt for a perfect foundation, and after having a not-so-pleasant encounter at MAC, i found myself at the mecca counter getting color matched. At the time, i couldn't afford to splurge on the item, but kept it in the back of my head.

When i saw it for sale for around $50 NZD, i knew it was fate, and i brought it without a second thought.

The packaging. Its sleek, and sophisticated. In comes in a plastic jar, which is a rectangle shape, with a square base. It has a matte black lid which matches the bottle shape perfectly, and it has the word NARS written down the side of the bottle. Like i said, really classy, and the only downside is that this product come with a lid, but no pump. The pump has to be purchased separately, which adds more cost to this product.

As i got colour matched, this foundation is the perfect colour for my skintone (stromboli), and matches my undertones perfectly, which is something i really struggle to find within a foundation.

The foundation is smooth, and almost creamy to look at. Its a lovely texture, and consistency, not to thin and not to thick. It sits on the back of my hand nicely without rolling right off it, so im happy. Its easy to apply to my face too and can either give me a gorgeous sheer look, or i can build the product up to get medium coverage.

I just love the look this foundation gives my skin. It makes my skin look so healthy, and even without looking cakey and gross. Will definitely buy this one again, and next time i might just have to buy the pump as well.

This was my splurge foundation, it was my birthday a few weeks ago and i decided to splurge big time and get all the high end products i wanted and this and the creamy radiant concelaer were made the list. This foundation is amazing, the coverage is amazing, the finish is like a satin finish, it doesnt oxidise and its my perfect color match, Im so happy i got this i will definitly repurchse this, it was worth the splurge. It last all day on me and at the after work ( 8 hours wear) it still looks great

For me this is not my favourite foundation at all. I had heard such great things and wanted to fall in love with it, however I did not see anything amazing change with my face. I have tried to make it work as it is expensive, but I feel I can never make it sit right on my skin and look good. It goes patchy and seems to dry patches that are not even visible without foundation. Every time I wear it, I feel like it breaks me out afterwards. Doesn't seem to last very long on my skin. I wish I loved this since it seems to look nice on so many people-but it wasn't for me.

Disappointed in this foundation. It always has such good reviews. I have normal to dry skin and it just doesn't work for me the coverage, colour and finish is perfect but it clings to my dry spots I never new I had and also sinks into my fine lines and cakes between my brows after a few hours. Its an ok foundation just not worth the high price tag

I have tried many foundations - high end and supermarket brands but was never really happy. So I've done some research online and found amazing reviews about the 'Sheer Glow Foundation' from NARS. I decided to go to a counter to get a perfect colour match as Im struggling to find the perfect match myself.

I ended up with the 'FIJI'. The Foundation comes in a sleek and simple glass foundation bottle with a black lid. The bottle has the writing 'NARS' on the side.

The foundation has an amazing consistency, very light but still creamy. I apply it with my foundation brush and it just glides on very evenly and it just melts into my skin. The colour match is amazing and my skin looks even, radiant with a dewy finish. I just love it. The coverage is great, one layer already covers redness but you can build it up to a full coverage if you like.

Combined with a great primer the foundation lasts all day!

I recommend to purchase the bump applicator which NARS sells separately. This will make your foundation last even longer and you dont waste any product.

This is definitely the best foundation I've ever used and its worth every penny.

This is by far my holy grail foundation, i love the way it sits on your skin, i love the way it feels on the skin and i love the way it lasts on the skin. I have tried to change foundations, when wanting to try new ones out however i have always found myself reaching for this bottle. Whether it be getting ready for work, or getting ready for a night on the town, i am constantly reaching for this bottle! The colours are amazing, their are a large range of colours to match everyones skin tones, and i find this foundation can be applied many different ways including a beauty blender, a buffing brush, flat top kabuki brush or even your fingers.

This foundation does not disappoint, i have normal to dry skin, and this foundation just matches my skin perfectly. It doesn't flake in my dry spots, and it doesn't over oil in my T-zone either.

This truly is the best foundation i have come across.

Heard such good things about this but let me down a wee bit, think it is purely because of my skin type. I have found that it doesnt stay very well even with my fav primer and setting spray. Still has a nice finish when you first apply.
