Tips: Skin tone match your color first
I tried this in fair and light. The light had more coverage but I felt was a little orange.and the light I felt didn't cover how my loreal mineral powder does. It didn't feel the best on my skin as I felt I had to use more. Maybe ok as a translucent type.
My mum bought this and didn't end up liking it, gave it to me to try, and sadly i'm not a big fan either. For starters, the lightest colour, "fair" is too dark for me.
I tend to gravitate towards bb creams that give just enough coverage to even out my skin tone and aren't obvious on the skin. If i'm careful about not going overboard with loading up my brush with this powder, I can get a nice sheer coverage that I really love. But something about the finish just seems off to me, I can tell that there's something sitting on my skin - it looks powdery. Maybe I just need help with applying powders correctly, but this doesn't seem like the right product for me.
I wanted this product as something light that would cover blemishes without making me feel like I have heavy makeup on. I found that it is really nice and buffs in well but it has very light coverage, not handy for someone with many blemishes, I often use if over the top of liquid foundation now which I finds sets it nicely. Would have expected greater things for the price.
I used this product at a time when I had a few blemishes, I was told by the sales assistant at Farmers to buff blemished areas to cover up the spot and redness surrounding it. When I did this, my face was left looking chalky and flaky. My skin has improved drastically lately and I've finally found a powder I love so I haven't used this once since but I would probably give it another go in future.
I brought this after getting a skin reaction to a new foundation - I wanted a foundation that was natural and for sensitive skin.
The lady at the shop said it was an awesome product that gave good coverage. I was so excited to try this and hoped it would become my holy grail product.
Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of this, it didn't give me the coverage I like and also made my face look drier. For those of us with dry skin, I don't think this product is suitable.
Would not repurchase.
I was very excited to try this product, I followed the instructions well and had a beautiful finish, the coverage is very light so it looks natural, the down side I found is it only lasted a couple of hours and after the couple of hours my face was very oily, I wouldnt recommend to anyone that wants an all day finish
Tips: Blend and then blend some more
Okay I don't want to say this product is bad just because it didn't work for me personally, but it just didn't. It made my skin feel dry (I do already have pretty dry skin though), it felt weird on my face and the lightest shade was WAY too dark for me. HOWEVER the friend I gave this to loved it, it suited her skin colour and type. For me it was huge waste of money, but for others it works great.
This stuff provides good coverage and can have a really nice finish - however, it can build up in patches, and transfers badly (it's like it needs a setting powder). The light shade is my perfect winter colour, the next one up perfect for summer.
When I get the application right, this looks really flawless and illuminates my skin really nicely. It does tend to settle into my pores over time though.
Tips: Trial and error. Sometimes this performs, others it doesn't. So many factors effect the outcome!
I have combo- oily, sensitive, acne prone skin so I bought this last year as a "gentle" makeup option. They only have 3 shades available and the shade I have is "dark" which is more like medium skin. It is way too gray for me and within an hour or 2, my skin is super oily. Not a tiny bit, but like greasy. Because of the bad colour match, I have to use a very sheer layer of this and blend blend blend. This makes it pretty pointless because I don't get a nice airbrushed finish, it doesn't cover pores at all and the coverage is not that great. I prefer sheer cover or bloom mineral foundations.
