I have very pale skin and the colour of this blush was perfect. It came up as a glowy pinky/peach with a hint of shimmer (not big glitter particles). It lasted all day and looked very fresh. The only thing that's puts me off is that it is so messy! The packaging doesn't hold the product very well and the blush seems to spill everywhere. Despite the amazing colour I hate using it because of that reason. If it was a pressed blush It would be my everyday go to blush.
This really is a one shade suits all product the perfect blend of neutral pinky peachy apricot beigey mauve. It really gives the cheeks life and it has a lovely texture - pearlescent rather than shimmery, glittery or frosty. Makes my face look younger and looks fab paired with the 'chique' shade of lipstick from this range. I am very impressed by these products this blush especially as I am usually highly allergic to mineral blushes but this seems to agree with my skin. Great value a little product goes a long way and you get heaps in the jar. A great more natural product without blowing the budget and best of all would suit anyone, any makeup look and any season. The only downside for me though is I am allergic to this, like most mineral blushes this has broken me out badly thought it was a reaction to something else but have tried it again and the same thing. Too bad this is the best shade of blush I have ever found but I can't wear it.
This blush is very dark and deep and a little goes a long long long way! It is a nice blush but quite messy. I think it would suit any skin tone, just add more or less. I do like it but hasn’t been the best, I’m still hunting for the perfect blush!
Tips: Don’t use too much at once or you’ll be bright pink! Also, tap the brush on the side of the container before applying to remove excess; it make a bit of a mess if you use too much.
The description says a touch of pink. Well the blush actually looks like a dark terricotta and comes up on the skin like a rosy orange tone I'm very pale. If your looking for a peachy more orange tone blush than pink you might like it. There is still some shimmering particles in this finely ground powder but it's not chunky glitter or anything. Yes it is very pigmented tap off the excess and use a large brush or one that doesn't have tightly packed bristles so you can blend this out properly. On me it doesn't look very natural as I'm more pink cheeked than orangey. I think olive or darker skin tones may like this it could help contour. It looks like a dark foundation or contour powder. You seem to get alot of it. The sifter holes are quite large so you need to be careful when opening it as the powder can get all past the sifter. It is probably a good buy if the colour of the blush suits you or you love it. For me it is not one I would buy again just because the colour didn't suit well.
I first tried this blush a few years ago when I bought into the Nude by Nature range (which I still use and love). I was worried the colour would be too strong on my pale skin but was surprised to find that with a light application it wasn’t too stark at all. Instead, this blush gives me a beautiful and natural glowy look that helps highlight my cheek bones. It’s easy to blend I’ve found that it will ‘stay throughout the day’ as it claims. Because the colour is so buildable I really think that would it look good on a variety of skin tones. There’s a lot of product in there too!
Tips: When you buy it, instead of removing the sticker that covers the holes for dispensing, just pierce a couple of them with something like a safety pin. This way you won't end up with too much product coming out and making a mess! Start with a small amount and build for more colour.
