I have India and Nude, they are super pretty shades, so creamy and they just glide on! Not drying at all, but if your lips are a little chapped like mine they do tend to accentuate that and also sink into fine lines which can be a little bit annoying. Otherwise I am very impressed, nice scent and pretty long wearing, although I do have to reapply after eating.

Tips: Make sure to exfoliate your lips first!
I love the colours of these but i do find them incredibly creamy, which reduces their staying power. They are super moisturising but they do move a lot.
Let me start this review off by saying I love NYX. I love that they're cruelty-free and I love that they always offer a LARGE variety of shades from their lipsticks to their eyeliners.
I bought this lipstick online under the recommendation of some YouTubers. Needless to say, I was beyond-words-excited when they arrived.
I'm not too crazy about the packaging. I think the lace detailing is cute but the silver speckled gray makes it look a bit tacky, but that of course is just a personal opinion. It does open easily and closes securely. It's a little heavy and feels a bit more luxurious than other NYX lipsticks. I love that you can see the colour of the lipstick at the bottom and it doesn't lie, the colour inside is very true to what you see on the outside.
As for the product itself, the colour selection is massive. All the colours I have are very creamy and I feel like because of that, it doesn't last as long on the lips as some of us would like. The darker colours are also a bit patchy and hard to spread evenly.
Overall, I do enjoy these lipsticks. The price point is great for people who are on a budget. Just be prepared to touch up a few times during the day and I recommend the lighter colours over the darker ones.
Tips: Lip liners are a must, I feel for the darker colours. It helps them last a bit longer and fixes the patchiness a little bit. Another must is carrying it around in your handbag for touch ups during the day.
I’m more of a matte lipstick kind-of-girl but I came across this lipstick range when I noticed the gorgeous shade - Dusty Rose - who doesn't love the look of a mauve/nude pink! A few additions later I can honestly say I’m happy to have these lipsticks in my collection.
Size wise it’s not my favourite packaging but I do like the see-through bottom which shows the shade so finding the colour amongst your other lipsticks is not a problem. The overall size of the product is too bulky; when you take off the lid you’ll notice that the tube is actually slender; so I can’t understand the need for the extra bit of plastic.
The smell of the lipsticks reminds me of the bubblegum Grape Hubba Bubba and I don’t usually like having fragrant lipsticks but I don’t mind this scent – I’d rather it smell delicious than something chemical. The lipstick is quite creamy and because of this the product tends to sometimes bleed so I always pair it with a lipliner.
The more I use them (i.e. continuous swiping in one application) the more I notice that they have a tendency to become a little messy in the tube, so I try to store them in a cool place where there is no risk of melting. The pigmentation is great for the colours that I have and a few swipes is all I need to achieve the look I’m after.
They leave behind a lovely crème-like gloss finish. I like to blot between layers because aI just like having a bit of "matte" in my life. The darker or more pigmented shades often leave a stain behind which I don’t mind at all.
I bought mine from NZSale for $5 I believe – if you need them urgently then this is not the way to go; it’ll generally take weeks to receive. You’re better off checking out BeautyJoint. The shades I reach for the most are: Dusty Rose – Mauve with nude pink undertone Extreme Red – Rich cherry red Cancun Pink – Surprisingly a lovely muted fuschia pink
A friend got this for me last year in the shade 'ruby', which is a bright red shade. Prior to that I had never tried a NYX black label lipstick.
The consistency is really creamy and super easy to apply - there is no tugging on your lips.
In terms of the application, it is just a standard lipstick - which in my opinion, makes it easy and tidy to apply.
I found that one coat is really pigmented and you can easily get away with just one swipe. However I like to then put a little translucent powder over the lipstick and coat it again so that it wears longer.
For the quality I think the price is incredible, however I recommend buying these online as they are far cheaper than in NZ!
The packaging is really aesthetically pleasing to me, I love the patterns on the lid and I really like that it has a little preview of the colour at the bottom - this makes it sooooo easy to spot which colour you want when digging through your collection.
The one thing that I was slightly disappointed in was that it isn't amazingly long lasting - but you aren't paying a whole lot for it. I find myself having to re apply it every 2 or so hours, which isn't that much of an issue for me personally as I think it is well worth the price. Also you can layer it up and it doesn't look cakey. The finish is a really gorgeous satin finish with a hint of gloss but it isn't overly glossy. Also I didn't find them drying on my lips whatsoever and the colour didn't slide around my mouth.
I would absolutely recommend trying these out. They are a really cheap way to try new colours and the packaging makes them look far more pricey than they actually are... :P
Tips: Purchase these online! I like to use either cheryculture.com or nyxcosmetics.com to get these as they are WAY cheaper than buying them here.
Brought this as an impulse buy while I was shopping for other items online. Purchasing the hot red colour as I'm a huge fan of red lips and after reading some rave reviews from facebook friends knew it was something I just had to have a go at. Firstly, how cute is the packaging!! its easy to twist up black container with see through parts makes it very eye pleasing, the twist up is easy and effective, the lipstick is not soft so holds itself at fully twisted up.
The colour is highly pigmented and isn't overly perfumed like some brands. Easily applied to my lips the colour was even and one coat was more than enough, even after blotting.
Its not a long lasting lip colour though, so it needs to be carried in your handbag or pocket for top ups during the say but that is not a problem, just remember its in there on hot days so it doesn't melt in the heat (yes I have lost many lippies this way)
All in all it does what it says and I would buy again, in fact there is a couple more in my shopping cart already.
I picked one of these lipsticks up from cherryculture.com as I love trying different drugstore lipsticks because I often fine they're just as good. I got the shade heiress as I liked how the colour looked online but I found that the colour wasn't exactly the same as those swatches just a heads up it may be best to also check some swatches on youtube for a more accurate colour. In regards to the formula it is so pigmented, not drying on the lips at all and has a beautiful finish. Doesn't last an amazing amount of time but nothing a quick touch up can't fix!
I have this in shade bling - it is a pink neutral. I must say I wasn't impressed when I got this, but I purchased it "just to see". I got this off beautyjoint with along with a bunch of NYX Matte lipsticks (which I absolutely love). After a few days wear I adore it! They are so creamy and glide on nicely, the stay of the colour is good (not great) and it is not drying. My only gripe is that is sits in the fine lines on my lips, probably cause the products is so creamy which isn't such a biggie as the lipstick is very pigmented so its not so noticeable. It has a very light scent, nothing to overpowering
The packaging to me is ok, a bit chunky (and if shipping from overseas makes it that bit more expensive!), although I do like the colour showing at the bottom of the tube - I can see that being handy if i do decide to get a few more ;)
Well worth your money! I have been sold on NYX lipsticks
Tips: I got mines off BeautyJoint!
I four of these Black Label lipsticks and think they are just fab! The shades I have are Dusty rose, Italian chic, Cherry and Midnight dinner.
Dusty Rose - is a beautiful your lips but better pinky nude creme shade perfect for pairing with a dramatic eye look and also great for everyday wear.
Italian Chic - is a neutral toned fuchsia-rose which gives a cool pink satin sheen on the lips. An absolutely gorgeous colour when you want a bright (but not in your face, neon bright) lip.
Cherry - is a true cherry red with a satin finish, it looks more cool toned in the tube but is a lot more warm toned on the lips. This is the least pigmented of the shades I have but still pretty good.
Midnight dinner - is a medium-deep berry-red shade with a creme finish. A shade which would definitely suit a range of people with neutral-cool toned skin. This would be an ideal shade to try if you are new to darker lip colours as it is just so flattering.
All of these lippies go on so smoothly and feel creamy and hydrating on the lips. They all have fantastic pigmentation and a delicious grape smell (so good) which you can smell when applying but not when wearing. I can't even pick a favourite shade from these I love them all and had such a hard time trying to choose which four to purchase from the range available (there are so many beautiful shades).
The packaging is super cute and very sleek also, they definitely don't look cheap (but they are very affordable). I love that the base is clear so you can easily see the true shade without having to open every lippy to find the one your looking for. The only issue I have with the packaging is that it makes them slightly to large to fit into my lippy holder, but meh that's not a biggy.
The wear time on these isn't the longest but by no means the worst either. I have found they last a good 2 hours (sometimes more) which I think is pretty reasonable considering there price.
Definitely highly recommend and will surely be a product I repurchase over and over! Go get a few of these girlies! You will not be disappointed. They are cheapest I think on cherry culture, instead of from a NZ retailer.
Tips: To make your lippy last longer; place a tissue over your lips after the first layer is applied and dust a small amount of translucent powder over-top. Remove the tissue and add another layer of colour.
I ordered a bunch of these lipsticks online and was quite disappointed when they arrived. I bought shades in both this and the normal NYX lipstick range. On the website they looked quite different but when they all arrived they were all most all the same shades. If you are going to buy these lipsticks go instore and not online as the pictures online are quite misleading. I found these lipsticks really creamy as well, which normally is a good thing but in this case they were just TOO creamy. I don't think they stayed on my lips as well. They aren't bad lipstick I just don't think they are that good. Wouldn't buy again.
