NYX Professional Makeup Butter Lipstick Review

I ended up trying these when I received it in my ipsy bag. The color I received was HUNK which is this real pretty purple color. It was highly pigmented but could also be worn sheer if Applied with a light hand. It is light and smooth made my lips feel great almost like a silicone feel I would compare the formula to mongojongo lip balm. Over all I really enjoyed this product and would purchase it in other colors.

These are highly pigmented, they feel not creamy but moisturizing on the lips. I brought 2 shades Razzle fiesta (hot pink) and hunk beau gosse (plum) I usually wear a matte lip but when im hurry I just slap this on. as with most nyx lip products the color of the tube is the same as the lip product, which is always a good thing. super affordable, decent product.

This was the first product I had heard about from the brand Nyx. and after hearing and seeing great things about this product, and terms such as holy grail being thrown around, I knew this was a product I had to try. Especially for the small price tag it comes with, so of course, I purchased one. But only one which is unusual for me, but the colour I purchased is pops.

I’ll be honest, I love the packaging this product comes In simply because it reflect the colour of the actual product, which makes it easy when I’m in a rush and just need to grab something and go. But apart from that, I find the packaging really cheap, and it feels a bit.. unstable if that’s makes sense.

The formula is great simply because it doesn’t dry my lips out and it has great pigmentation. Although it has great pigmentation, it does need reapplying often, but that’s okay because it fades evenly, and it’s easy to apply quickly. The formula of these lip glosses is buttery, surprise surprise! They glide onto lips smoothly, and just have a lovely consistency.

I think I purchased this for around $5 usd, and I have to say it really is worth the money. Personally, I love popz, and almost want to buy backups because the colour is a perfect everyday nude for me, but in all honestly, I’ve never used up an entire lip product so should probably wait till then before I start to repurchase. Will definitely be adding some more colours to my collection, and suggest you do aswell x

I got 3 of these a couple of weeks ago. Hunk - which is a bright slightly purple pink, Fun Size - a peachy neutral shade which I'll never wear in public, makes me look sick; and my favourite - Licorice which is a dark pinkish purple that has a vampy 90's feel to it. First of all. The packaging colour and the stick colours are different to how they actually look on the lip so I'll never buy another one based on the outer colours. The packaging is a very classic lipstick tube. Nothing special really but happy that the lid stays on in my handbag. NYX Lip butters are butter soft and I would definitely agree that they keep my lips nice and soft. I found after an hour of application when I rubbed my lips together, they were still soft unlike some other lippies that will feel dry. It goes the lip a little inconsistently but rubbing the lips together or smoothing over with a brush fixes that ok. I found the colour comes off on quite a bit so I wouldn't wear these when malloMr wears the white shirt And they do require quite a few touch ups throughout the day. overall though I really like the 2 pink/purple colours I got .

I have this in a peach shade. I find these lipsticks are very creamy and soften the lips when using, usually lipsticks dry my lips out days after Ive worn them but not with this. The shade is more pastel like on me and glides on easy. The case is nice, and has a clear strip to see the products colour, very large sized for a lipstick so you get a lot of bang for your buck. I paid $10 off a makeup selling page on facebook.

The packing of the lipstick is quite sturdy and beautiful. It comes in a colored plastic bullet which is of the same color as the shade inside. The middle portion of the lipstick is transparent and the shade inside can be clearly seen. I have it in two shades - Taffy and sweet tart. Both of them are different shades of pink (I am a pink lipstick lover).

Taffy is a cool toned light pink, sort of a barbie pink color and looks amazing on the lips. While the shade Sweet Tart is a cool toned deep pink. It is much darker than the taffy shade. The texture of these lipsticks is very buttery. They glide like butter on lips. They look like any other normal lipstick from outside but when they come in contact with the lips, they melt into a very smooth and buttery texture which I love. The lipstick itself is moisturizing on lips, so there is no need of lip balm underneath. The texture gives a feel that the lipstick has sheer coverage but the color is very much build-able.

Because, they have such a buttery texture, I did not expect them to stay for long. But, they last on my lips for almost 4 hours which is good. And when they do fade, they leave a faint stain behind which I really like. It has a caramel kind of sweet smell and the smell is neither overpowering nor long lasting so no issues with the smell. Summing up, if you love buttery and moisturizing lipsticks with awesome color payoff this is a perfect choice for you! :)

I heard a lot of good things about the NYX Butter Lipsticks from Youtuber Shaanxo so when I saw a NYX stand on holiday at Target I had to pick up one and try them for myself!

The formula is as 'buttery' as the name suggests, smooth and creamy. It glides on like a dream and the pigmentation is fantastic, so one quick swipe is all you need for gorgeous colour. I love how moisturising they are, the nourishment of a lip balm but with the colour payoff of a lippy.

I was really suprised about the claim to be long-lasting. I found that as I expected with such a creamy lipstick these wear off after a couple of hours and do need to be applied after eating or drinking anything.

I plan on stocking up on Butter Lipsticks when I have the chance, they're such an easy-to-wear product. "Sweet Tart" is now one of my favourite everyday lippies for at work and I've had so many compliments wearing the colour, as well as since 'enabled' a friend to purchase it for herself!

I have two colours now: "Sweet Tart" is a medium cherry-pink, and "Razzle" is a bright, fuschia pink.

I had heard some good things about these lipsticks, so thought I would pick one up from makeup.co.nz. First of all they are a great price (only $13.50) - I don't like spending a lot on lipsticks (especially if I am new to the brand). My initial impression was that the formula is so smooth and buttery, that its like putting on lipbalm. I love it! I go the colour 'lollies' which is a nice pinky colour. It stayed on well which is great, and I only needed to put on 1-2 coats at a time.

This was something that I wanted for a long time and the reason I finally caved and made an order directly from NYXcosmetics.com using my YouShop account. I purchased this from them for USD$6. I bought the colour Sweet Tart which is a bright-ish reddened pink.

I really like the packaging of this. It doesn't feel expensive but it is incredibly practical. The casing is the shade of the lipstick and in the middle is a clear section where you can see the lipstick itself so you know the exact shade. It feels quite sturdy and I am in no way worried about it breaking at all.

The product itself glides onto the lips effortlessly. I really like the formula as you put it on the lips. Like the name suggests it is buttery! It feels creamy and glossy with no tacky-ness or sticky-ness at all. It doesn't dry my lips out at all. Unfortunately as to be expected with a product like this it does where off as soon as I eat or drink something. To me that isn't particularly a big deal, and is to be expected with this sort of formula.

I'm really glad that I purchased this and can't believe the quality of the NYX products that I have tried so far.
