Concealers are the magicians and politicians of cosmetology- seemingly overarching in their purpose, and promising the world with only a pat. This concealer is drier than weetbix, and is like trying to spread cold butter straight from the fridge. It is as cakey and creasey as a octogenerian tea party. The descriptor alludes to superpowers but this is fighting moisture like a reverse Aquaman. The utilitarian jar, albeit with a satisfyingly curved lid, renders it easy to disregard and tricky to apply (unlike a lovely lithesome tube). It will do in a cinch, to cover a blemish or zit, but it is far too dry for the delicate eye area.

I used this product one day when I was stuck in Wellington with no makeup. I loved the way it had some moisture to it and covered my under eye circles well. It comes in a small round plastic container (which I think would benefit from having a brush with it) it comes in 4 shades depending on skin tone and desperate need of coverage. I think it's great value for money and would use this product again.
Tips: Warm it up in your fingers first if it's too hard and clumpy. Ir use a small brush to apply.
I bought this thinking it would be a great coverage concealer as it is very thick. I found however it doesn’t blend out to easily as the texture is very hard.
Overall I wouldn’t use this product again.
Does the job, but I find that you have to use a lot of it to actually cover anything which isn't ideal as it is already quite a thick texture. I also find that it doesn't last the whole day, it tends to start breaking down 4 hours into it's wear on my skin (combination/slightly oily). Will continue to use it as a backup but I won't be repurchasing.
I think this is a very affordable and good concealer. Thick formula and you get a good amount for the price. I did have a hard time with this to begin with just applying and blending etc but am now using this everyday going in with a damp beauty blender and rotating tip in jar. Goes on evenly and is creamy and blends out great. Use on my under eyes, problem areas etc. I like it and it works for me would for sure recommend and is great for the price of it.
Tips: I would use a translucent/setting powder under eyes with the concealer to avoid creasing/caking and also makes it last longer and brightens.
I regret this purchase. The product is so thick, and very awkward to blend out. It takes to much product to give good coverage, around the nose and under my eyes was the worst. After about two hours it starts to just vanish and goes cakey. Under my eyes it finds all the little creases and ages me so much, its awful.
Tips: Dont buy.
I love this concealer! I have this in shade Orange. I read that this was amazing for under eye circles and I have quite dark under eye circles so thought why not try this? I brought mine online quite some time a go but you can easily pick this up at farmers. It is very thick and I find that the best way to apply it is by my finger rather than a brush. It covers my under eye circles and pimples amazingly. I put it under my foundation and blend it in to my foundation so it doesn’t look really orange. If your looking for a cheap under eye concealer definitely give this one a try! It’s a little pot but it lasts forever! A little goes a long way
I picked this up recently when buying a few things directly from the NYX website using my YouShop account. NYX is extremely cheap and all the other things I have tried have been AMAZING so I was super excited to use this as well. I picked this up in CJ01 Porcelain, I'm usually a NC15 in MAC.
The packaging as with most NYX products is extremely simple but effective. A clear plastic bottom with a black lid. Now the packaging actually really annoys me with this product. Once you take the lid off there is a big space from the top of the plastic to where the product starts. Now it doesn't annoy me in a 'there should be more product' sort of way as it is quite cheap. But it makes it very hard to get your finger in to get the product, especially if you have long nails you end up collecting half the product under your nail. It is easier with a brush but I like to use my fingers in a thick cream product like this as it warms up the product before you put it on your face.
The product itself is a great colour match for my skin. It is really full coverage, but nicely blendable at the same time. I like that as I put this on you can't see the edges of what is concealed and what isn't. You don't need much to blend over your skin either meaning it will last a long time. I like to smooth this over anything I want to cover then use more of a dabbing motion for anything that needs any extra coverage. This lasts all day on me just like any high-end concealer I have used. It also doesn't crease under the eyes at all for me, but I always make sure to use a thin layer around the parts of my eyes that crease.
As with all of my other NYX products I have been super impressed by this and can't wait to try more from their range!
I get quite red around the sides of my nose and on one side of my chin for some peculiar reason. Rather than piling on the foundation, I decided to invest in a green colour corrector. Nyx was a fairly inexpensive choice, and the jar was quite small so I figured it wouldn't be too much of a waste if it didn't work out. The formulation is quite thick and creamy which makes it a bit tricky to blend out, but it conceals very well. I pat it in with a finger and do my eyes while the formulation sinks in and settles, and then I apply my foundation etc as usual. I wouldn't recommend it for anywhere that might crease, like under eyes, because the consistency is too thick. But for flat areas, it seems to work quite well and definitely masks the red!
Tips: Apply with a brush (the jar is quite small and fiddly) and then work in with fingers, so that it warms the product for easier blending.
