NYX Professional Makeup Dewy Finish Setting Spray

I have recently been going for the glowy J-Lo look and this has been a staple in achieving that!

First off let me say this definitely does not keep your makeup on longer well not from what I have found.

But this a great product for making the skin look dewy and take away the cakey look that powder can sometimes leave.

For me I have dry skin with an oily T-zone (which sucks so bad) but this product doesn't make me more oily than usual actually it seems the same as when I powder except with a dewy finish.

It settles on my face quite quickly but sometimes what I will do is take a brush and lightly pat my skin to help the spray in quicker.

Overall I am loving this especially now during winter go get you some girls!

I bought the dewy version of this online not long ago after hearing Shaanxo rave about it on her youtube channel. I was definitely not disappointed!

I feel like it does make my makeup stay a bit better, because it stops foundation from running, but quite a lot of my makeup usually rubs off by the end of the day. I might try it with powder underneath, as powder can look very cakey on me, but this might be able to fix it up and make it last.

In any case, it makes your makeup look amazing, just go for it!

I hadn't used a finishing spray before this, only powder, but this is so much better for getting your makeup to the next level! It makes your face dewy and bright without looking oily or cakey. I find it just adds a beautiful gloss over my makeup.

I have a confession to make.. I maaaay have borrowed this little bottle of magic from my sister. And forgotten to return it. This setting spray does everything you could want it to - it holds your make up in place, gives you a beautiful glowing finish, and makes you feel nice and refreshed (avoiding the dreaded cake face!) The bottle is generously sized (but still small enough to fit in your purse) and has cute monochrome labelling that makes it look more professional than the 'NYX' brand would suggest. The spray mechanism functions well, it doesn't get stuck and distributes product evenly, The product itself doesn't stain or smell at all, and it doesn't feel sticky - definitely preferable to setting your makeup with hair spray, and in my opinion this is just as effective! My only qualm is that if I use this to set an already dewy looking foundation (or my BB cream with SPF) it can make my face a bit too shiny. Next time I might try the matte finish (and of course grab another bottle of dewy for my sister!)

I found this product while on holiday in Australia I think I paid 14 for it. (Dewy finish) I now use it every time I do my makeup mainly for the reason that I use a mineral foundation but I'm not a fan of the matte look. It adds back some moisture and helps set everything in place leaving a nice dewy look

I use Nyx Matte setting spray and tbh i haven't tried too many other setting sprays so i don't have much to compare it to, but it has consistently given me a nice finish that isn't cake and sets naturally.

I like this mist, it feels nice on and helps make my skin look just that little bit better. the price is pretty reasonable. My only issue is that I wish it sprayed finer, as a bit too much product comes out. It does say on the bottle to tissue the excess off but I don't really like to do that as I don't want to smudge my makeup while it's wet from the spray. Other then that it's great.

i have this in matte, i love how the mist is a even spray over the area you hold it against, i find i do 4 sprays one each on my cheeks one on my forehead and one on my nose chin area and this makes my make up last all day i dont blot it or anything i get my hair dryer on cold and just dry my face off a little works wonders :)

I have both the matte and dewy sprays and really like both of them. I probably use the matte spray more often but only because I tend to like dewy foundations anyway, so adding more "dewiness" (is that a word :P ) is not really needed. I find it helps my foundation stay put and is just really nice and refreshing to use, especially in summer. Would definitely recommend trying it out.

I have the dewy finish spray, and this is the first setting spray I have tried. I think for the price it works okay, I use it everyday and it seems to make my makeup stay for longer than normal (not all day though) but I do have oily skin so do end up powdering mid afternoon. Pretty happy with it though, and I would repurchase as I find it nice and refreshing, and just gives my skin a nice finish.
