This is the first and only lip primer I have used so far, so I do not have another to compare it to. But it seems to work very well. I have the Nude/Diaphane shade. It is packaged like an automatic pencil, so you wind up the stick as you use it. You apply it to your lips like a bullet lipstick.
I have been applying it everyday since I bought it. I get very dry lips, so I decided to start using an exfoliator and primer as part of my lip routine. I find that the primer helps to give my lips an extra layer of protection against the elements. The primer also gives my lipstick a smooth, white base. It does seem to make my lipstick last longer. The white colour of the primer also gives the lipstick a more accurate shade, rather than the pink base of my lips. The formula is also not drying, which is great for someone with dry lips like me.
So if you are looking for a lip primer, I would definitely recommend trying this one.
