I tried a sample of the Munroe BB Cream from Oasis last year (yay for samples!) and was an immediate convert and purchased a bottle. Unlike another BB Cream I had tried and disliked for many reasons, the Oasis Cream was truely creamy and suited my skin perfectly. The pump bottle dispenses a good amount, the fragrance is pleasant. You need to move quickly while applying as it does start to thicken and dry. The finish is a lovely powder/matt which I love as I'm not a fan of shiny skin, with a medium to full cover. The tone is good for my pink based skin, and it really does make my complexion look amazing. I've given up on foundation! I rave about this product to friends whenever they say they are looking for a bb cream or a foundation. Bonus: Made in NZ, the team are great when it comes to contact.

Tips: If you want thicker coverage, just pat on a little extra over the area you need to 'layer' it. Apply moisturise first and let it dry for about a minute before applying the Oasis BB Cream to avoid that wet-run look.
I got both the Bardot and Monroe as test pots in the oasis beauty website as I was unsure which shade I would be better suited to and I was amazed at how well they both worked ! I have such awkward skin... some days it's lighter than others, so it was good to have both shades to work with.
I am more suited to the Monroe - and you only need the tiniest amount to get full coverage. It is quite thick, so if you're going full on face for a night out, or a photoshoot, make sure you only use a light foundation over it - but I can guarantee you won't even need foundation after!!
Tips: Use extremely sparingly!
I have been using this for just over a month now. This is hands down my fave!! The cost...a little pricy but honestly I havent ever liked a product so much where I can justify spending that much money! But what the heck!!
I love the texture of this BB Cream, its thick enough to give good coverage but still light enough to leave my face feeling like it can breathe & not feel like its caked with product. It doesnt rub off during the day which I love.
Its easy to blend, its buildable, smells like ...cant actually pin point the smell but its instantly gone after a few minutes of applying it I forget that Im wearing it. I love how little you need of this product to cover your face!! Best BB cream!!
I really love this product. I got a free sample from Oasis and it has definitely put this BB cream on my wishlist. When I apply it, I use a makeup brush (just something I tend to do with anything coloured) and it spreads evenly and easily. Just a small touch really covers blemishes and makes a noticeable but natural difference. It isn't greasy; the powder finish is a nice description. I have sensitive skin and this is absolutely fine for me. I definitely recommend you pick up a tester from Hardys and give it a go. It'll be on your Christmas wishlist!
I've tried all 3 BB creams from the Oasis range and have fallen in love with the Hepburn. I find the matte finish on this one and the colour is just perfect for me over summer. I mainly use this on my neck, rather than using up my more expensive foundation, and find it blends perfectly and drys to a nice matte, but not too matte, finish. Perfect for my slightly oily skin. It still looks good at the end of the day too!
I've only received samples with my orders of this so far but will be happy to shell out $49.90 for the product as I feel it will last me quite some time based on the use I have gotten out of the samples.
Tips: Try and get samples of all 3 colours as they are quite different, I didn't think the Hepburn would be for me as I'm quite pale, but over summer it's just perfect :)
This is a really great BB cream, it ticks all the boxes. Coverage - they have three different BB creams that provide different levels of coverage, so whether you're going for something very light or something akin to foundation, they've got it.
SPF - included, like it should be! :D
Sensitive skin - the Oasis range is designed for sensitive skin, so this should be gentle enough for most skin types.
Ease of application - this can be applied with your fingers, a wet sponge or a brush. While I haven't tried with a brush, I find a wet sponge gives a very sheer, natural finish.
Eco-friendly - this is a New Zealand brand, so you're supporting a local, very ethical, company. Yay!
Tips: Generous Oasis samples can be picked up from any Oasis retailer or their website, so you can try before you buy.
After seeing so many good things about this I decided to give it a try...it was awful! Didn't have any coverage on my skin, was really hard to work with and the lightest colour is just so dark! It felt like a sticky, heavy mess on my skin so I had to remove it straight away, would not use it again. Very disappointed.
Wondering if I got a bad batch as people seem to love it. For the price I was definitely expecting something amazing.
I got a sample of this about a year ago when Oasis was giving them out for free. I got Bardot but it was far too light for me I gave it to my niece who enjoyed it. Then I saw Hepburn for sale second hand I had my fingers crossed that it would be a match. Unfortunately my skintone is far too dark for it. But I am mixing it with other foundations to bring the colour up to my tone.
Oasis is a well known kiwi brand that caters towards a skincare market. So many fellow beauty reviewers have rated this highly and so I wanted to get a feel for what this product is like.
Packaging: Comes in a beautifully labelled pump bottle. It has how to use on the back of it. On the front it has the Oasis labelling with Beautiful array of colours going down one side. Each pump of cream comes out easily and non messy.
Consistency- A thin to medium layer of product. Has a slight scent to it. I can't really describe it but I didn't like it.
Application- I like to use my brush and beauty blender with this. This product smooths over my skin easily. For light coverage two pumps. For full coverage I needed four to five pumps.
Results- This BB cream lasted me up to a minimun of Four hours and started to fade out for me. I did need to do touch ups with this. It didn't really do a full coverage for me. But typically thats what I would expect from a BB cream. Price wise its high, theres no way I would spend this amount on a BB cream maybe foundation I would. I had no skin irritations at all. Would I use it again , no because it cost too much for me to buy.
This is now my favourite BB Cream. It has a really smooth consistent texture unlike some BB Creams I have seen which tend to separate and go oily. I use the lightest shade, BB Monroe and find this a really good coverage for my skin tone. I use a damp make up sponge to apply it and use approximately 2-3 squirts. Being a BB Cream the coverage isn't thick but gives a good day coverage.
Tips: I team my BB with a little concealer for under eye circles and any spots and then use a powder to set it for the day.
I have rather a miss and rarely hit relationship with BB Creams. Having such a light complexion means that most BB creams are just too dark and do not work on my skin. I have one BB cream in my stash which I occasionally use, but it is more like a full coverage foundation, so it's just not for everyday use.
I had heard good things about Oasis BB creams and their other products, so I purchased the $50 sample bag that contains a sample of all the Oasis products. This way I got to try all three BB creams and was able to establish that The Bardot suited my skin tone best. It sates that it is for light warm skin tones and gives a mid coverage dewy finish and I would definitely agree that it does exactly that.
I used the sample pot first and then purchased the full sized product after one application use of the sample pot. I was sold! Now that is pretty impulsive, even for me, but I really liked the product and could see that it just really suited my skin tone, gave a nice coverage (not too full on, not too sheer) and it lasted all day.
The Bardot BB cream comes in typical Oasis packaging with an inky abstract colour down one side of a white box with an information panel on the rear if the box. I love that the Oasis products are cruelty free, contains organic ingredients and is a New Zealand product. The generous 50 mL sized pump bottle is a great design and easy to use. The fact that it stands upright and isn't a tube is a big plus. I find the smell pleasant and certainly can pick out the calendula and Shea butter notes. The cream also contains hyaluronic acid which is perfect as so does my morning moisturiser and I can use the BB cream immediately after applying my Hydro Boost gel - something I cannot do with any other foundation type product. It is probably why the BB cream feels cold to the touch and has that initial clammy feeling when first applied.
I find that this cream applies easily and gives a nice even coverage that hides just enough, but still looks really natural. It is a dewy finish, and I use my favourite face powder over the top because that's what I like to do. I love the finish and find that with the application of face powder over the top, the finish looks just as great 8 hours later. I have tried finger application, sponge application, foundation brush application and beauty blender application and all are great, so it's whatever I have time for on the day.
It's not a cheap BB Cream with a price tag of $49.90, but it sure does last a long time, so I think it is great value for money.
The added bonus is that the BB Bardot (as do the other Oasis BB creams) contains a sunscreen. I didn't even realise this at first and it did surprise me when I found out as I usually react to foundation type sunscreens in products. However, this hasn't happened with this product, so it's a winner all round for me.
Tips: Play around with layers of coverage and then setting with different kinds of face powders. You can get some stunning effects, the BB Cream grabs hold of certain powders diff entry than standard foundations.
