Have some awesome colour ranges and is always bringing out new colours often which I love. Does take a wee bit longer for colour setting time. When worn with a base coat, 2× colour and a top coat colour lasts quite well for me as um really rough on my nails. Usually lasts about 5 days with everything on 1-2days without base and top coat.

OPI Nail Lacquer Review
Reviews
I too got caught up in the massive hype around OPI nail polish. I was first introduced to them after receiving a birthday present april this year. It made me smile like a donut when I opened it I assure you!
I have this in Imperial which is a plum purple with glitter fleck throughout giving it the bling I love. I also now have it in Give me Space which is a faded royal blue with glitter, Mystery which is a charcoal colour with glitter and I can't heart myself which is a hot pinkish colour also with glitter in. As you can tell I have a thing for glitter polishes. They just seem to give the look a bit more depth and edge.
I don't love the bottle shape but I think that's because I prefer more square shaped ones. I don't love the brush either. They are thin and spindly. They make it hard to get even coverage and it means that I have to swipe the polish over each nail more than three times to cover the whole nail. I do say though that being small it gets the very edge of the nail where I would normally miss with a bigger brush.
The nail polish is nice and thick like I would expect from a quality polish. It means I only have to do two coats of polish to get the desired result and the ultimate wear. It dries within 7 minutes which is touch dry but will scratch or peel if doing activities which require heavy use of fingers. I love the colour variety in this brand of polish. Others I love don't have this much to choose from as OPI have so I am impressed in that regard.
Now the pressing question....does it stay put for longer than a day or two?! In short yes it does but it starts to show stress and wear after a week. It doesn't last as long as I would like especially at $25 per bottle! I think the love of the colours don't justify the price nor the quality which is lacking in the durability. If you are wanting a nice polish that has choice in aces and will stay for longer than a couple of day this is for you but if you are like me and prefer it to last longer go for another type of polish.
Tips: Use a clear coat to help protect it
I have quite a few opi polishes in my collection. I love the amazing range of colours and I'm like a kid in a candy store when standing in front of the opi stands in Farmers. They are very easy to apply, the liquid is nice and smooth and glides on evenly. The drying time is average, always make sure each coat is dry before applying the next or it will get grungy. The only negative I have is this polish does not stay chip free for more than a couple of days on my nails.
OPI is one of the better brands of nail lacquer that I'll buy. It is a bit pricey if you're not nail-obsessed, but for me just having one or two colours is great. It goes on very well, however I've found that it doesn't last as long on my nails as I'd hoped. But this is something I find with most nail polish.
I used to use this a lot a few years back. There are like 100's of colours and they usually do a lot of limited edition collections. My favourite colours are usually the purples but they have a great range in every shade. It's a well known brand, and I get this polish when getting a mani and pedi. The hardest thing is shade what colour you want to use when all of them are so pretty.
Tips: 2 applications of nail colour if its well pigmented. If it's a sheer colour 3 applications will do the job perfectly.
I love the wearing white nail polish - especially when it doesn't look like twink on my nails. Sadly the OPI Alpine Snow takes at least two coats to become opaque and chips very quickly (approximately 2 days) after painting even with a cuticle oil and topcoat the polish doesn't seem to stay. I did however enjoy the colour when on and it is a really good consistency - very smooth.
Tips: Don't expect it to last longer than a few days
I wanted to like OPI but after using it a couple of times once it had dried it left tiny bubbles and holes on the nail polish on my nail where other brands dont do that
I wasn't thrilled when this "texture" trend started but thought I mustn't judge too quickly. Don't knock it til you try it, and all that jazz.
So I tried it.
It was... fine. It took two coats and it looked the way I expected. Just one left it looking a bit bare and thin, but the texture was still present.
The red/pink within black is quite pretty but at the end of the day I just didn't like the rough texture - to see or to touch.
I wanted to see how it would look under gloss. The good news is that it looks amazing. The bad news is it takes at least three layers of top-coat to smooth it out! Who has time for that?
I think I'll leave texture to the real trend addicts. I like my nails glossy and polished looking.
Tips: It's exactly as you'd expect. If you don't dig the look, I wouldn't buy it.
It's nice under gloss but probably not worth it.
If you are a fan of pinky reds then this is the red for you. Two coats gives an ideal coverage, but if longevity is what you crave, a topcoat is essential. Without a topcoat you will experience cbipping within days.
Tips: To add some sparkle fun, apply a coat of Getting Miss Piggy With It from the Muppets Collection, this most definitely keeps your polish on!
I have a lot of OPI nail colours, and have used them a lot over the past few years. The main reason I keep buying them is because they have some of the nicest colours that I can find and consistently update their range. However, I find that OPI chips easily, and takes a really long time to dry! I have a cheap nail polish which dries in half the time and stays on much better. Whenever I use OPI I have to use an undercoat and topcoat, just to make sure it doesn't come off the next day. My least favourite part about OPI nail polishes is that they often chip my nails away. They seem to weaken my nails quite a bit, more so than other brands. It means that I have to make a choice between OPI or short nails, and often leave gaps between painting my nails to let them recover.
Tips: Give yourself about an hour to let your nails dry before doing anything to avoid smudges.
