That is the name of my favourite Orly lacquer. It is a gorgeous kind of peacock blue. This lacquer comes in a generous 18ml bottle with this amazing rubbery type of lid. The lid is so easy to grip when opening the bottle and it is such a good size to hold while painting your nails. If I have to find fault with this it would be the brush could be a little bit thicker. I did have to dip the brush a few more times than normal, but this is a small thing. I always use a base coat then two coats of colour followed by a clear top coat. I found the colour easy to apply and went on evenly. I never expect more than a couple of days out of a polish and was happy with the wear I got. It comes off easily with your usual nail polish remover.

I have two orly nailpolishes, one gold glitter and one purple glitter. They appear to be very glittery in the bottle, but when applied the glitter pieces are quite sparce and it needs about three coats to look good. I find i have to dig around the bottle to get enough glitter on the brush which can be a pain. Other than that, i like the applicator brush, i think it gives a fairly even coverage and is easy to maneuvre to avoid going over the edge and getting polish on your fingers. It is quite cheap as far as nail polish goes and I find it has better staying power than OPI (however I have always found that glittery nailpolish seems to stick better for some reason)... Why is that?? I would like to add some more orly to my collection in a plain colour polish to see what it is like. So far I will be a return customer.
I have always heard good things about Orly & recently purchased my first, second & third bottle of nail polish.
They come in a range of gorgeous colours, glitters, and also base coats & accessories.
I didn't like the brush as it was very thin and had to do a lot of strokes just to cover a full nail. Does have a rubber handle though so is very easy to control & grip. Once you covered the nail and do 2 coats it actually finishes off quite nicely.
The nail polish starts to chip after 3-4 days if you are just doing daily chores and routines which is quite disappointing.
But still see this Orly as one of the top nail polish brands to date.
The bottle of varnish look gorgeous, and the colour range cannot be compared to any other. I love the rubber top which helps me get a good grip, and that is free from harsh chemicals. But I think the lasting power isn't so good, within a day of application the polish tends to chip and peel off.
I went to a super clearance sale that they had at the ASB Park in Tauranga. Normally I like to go in a grab myself one thing. This time around I grabbed myself this nail colour and an EOS lip balm. I've never tried Orly before so I was really looking forward to seeing what it's like. I got my bottle for about $8. I thought at the time was a good bargain. I'm actually disappointed now that I didn't grab myself more.
This nail colour comes in a 18 ml bottle. Quite a big bottle. I love the shape of the lid. After reading on here I didn't know that the lid is an award winning lid. Its the best nail polish lid I've ever used. Its soft and it grips well in your hand. I find that this liquid is quite thick. Not to think that it doesn't dry but its at a good medium. I don't need to do plenty of coats with this. I find it so annoying when I have to do lots to get a bright colour. I found it dried about 10 minutes in between coats. With top coat it lasted me a maximum of 3 to four days. Without top coat lasts up to two days. I think it's important to have a good top and based coat.
Overall orlys pretty good. I always try to find bargains, Gave me nice bright coloured nail.
The way the product is made is very good with the no nasty and low irritant chemicals uv inhibitors etc and the rubber grip lid can make applications easier but the product has a shelf life after a few uses the stuff thickens more making it harder to work with and get a good finish some shades seem to have a longer and shorter shelf life than others and some also stay on longer and are hard to remove great shade selection and for the price you sort of get what you pay for except make sure you care for them well as they tend to thicken up you need to allow decent time to let nails dry.
I bought a beautiful golden Orly shade a few months ago to wear to a wedding (with a pink dress) from Farmers for about $15. I was mainly attracted to the cool rubber lid and thought I would give it a whirl since I had not tried this brand before.
I like the shape and size of the bottle, and the rubber grip lid is amazing! It makes it so secure in my hand. I find that two coats is sufficient and it goes on really easily and quite streak free. It dries really quickly which is a bonus.
This lasts a good 3 days on my nails before chipping which is great for me! I think the glitter in my shade helps with that.
Overall a really great nail polish and I will be buying more in the future!
I love Orly! It feels great in your hand when doing nails and has a great grippy lid. The colours are always fresh, current and a good variety. The brush is wide and covers a large area so that you don't need to do as many passes. The coverage is great on most colours and I feel confident using these products. With the Orly top coat over top, I find that there is minimal chipping and lasts ages.
Tips: *Don't shake your nail polish bottles before use, instead roll them between your hands. This minimizes air bubbles. *After you have finished using your polishes, use a cotton pad moistened with nail polish remover and wipe the rim of the bottle prior to replacing the lid. This will keep the lid free of excess polish that causes sticking or squeeking
This brand is, in my opinion, better than some of the more expensive brands.
I love the packaging! It's aesthetically pleasing and definitely user friendly, and I just love the handle! The bottles are bigger than others as well at 18ml.
The formula of these are incredible. I have glitter ones and normal ones and the formula always meets my expectations.
They don't streak, they dry almost too fast and they last longer than my expensive polishes on my nails. You barely need a top coat with them, and they don't stain my nails. Which I hate, by the way!
Did I mention they were cheap? I can buy two for the price of one other. And the colours in their range is just lovely!
I am really pleased with them and will definitely buy more!
I have been on a hunt for no chip top coats for quite a while and I think I might've found it! The top coat comes in quite a tall bottle with a grippy purple lid. The brush is also quite long and very comfortable to hold. It's quite a thick top coat and takes a wee while to dry, but once it dries it makes my nails feel noticeably harder. With this, my nail polishes can stay perfect for about 3 days then start chipping at the edges. I think this has lengthened the life of my manicures by at least 2 days. Considering how rough I am with my nails I'd say that's pretty impressive. I think this is definitely worth the price especially since each bottle can last for a long time.
