I'm very separated when it comes to this review. I own quite a few revlon nail enamels (over 10) as they are reasonably cheap. (around $6). However I never know whether I'll like it when buying it. This is because about 3 of my colours I absolutely love the consistency of, and they last without chipping for about a week. However the other colours are horrible. They chip the day of painting, they take several coats to gain full colour, and are a runny consistency.

Tips: Use a nice base coat and it will usually turn out with a better finish.
I have quite a few of these nail polishes and I love them so much! They are just so good, I haven't bought one that I don't think works well for me. I believe that the whole range is fantastic and with such a range of colours its perfect! They also make great gifts :)
Tips: Use a base coat and top coat (like you would with any nailpolishes) :)
I have a couple of Revlon nail polishes and they really are good! To be honest I think they are just as good as OPI for about half the price. They will usually last me about 3 days before chipping which is pretty standard for me. Good formula, non streaky, I usually will use 2 coats.
Love love love these polishes, super long wearing with lovely shine. I have so many of these bad boys, hard to pick a favourite! I always grab a few when they have a sale at farmers! :)
Tips: Keep an eye on Farmers sales :)
I've a few Revlon polishes but my far and away favourite is the aptly named Elegant. A nude tone that looks ... well ... elegant.
I must admit to being lazy and not using a bottom or top coat, however I find this polish doesn't chip as easily as others I've used.
Best of all I don't have virtually any trouble applying it - and I'm very uncoordinated. Like it says, no bubbling or streaks. The only problem? I can't draw in a straight line so often end up with overflow on my fingers - nothing a cotton bud and polish remover doesn't fix though ;)
I remember training to become a beauty therapist and the dreaded mastering the art of nail painting. Their examination red of choice was the classic ''Revlon Red' A bright fire engine red which would show every little mistake....every hesitation *makes me sick thinking of it * . Ha Revlon's a great affordable brand, and mmm they even brought out scented ones I had a grape smelling one! The colours are always vibrant with great coverage and are long lasting. I'll usually give in and purchase one if they are in the bargain bin in the pharmacy or at farmers!
Tips: Always apply a base coat after prepping your nails suitably for polish application- this prevents staining of your nail plate and fills In any ridges present.
Apply 2 layers of your Revlon shade to ensure the greatest density of the colour.
Finish with a fast drying top coat- adds shine and prevents chipping
I received a nude hue (appropriately called Elegance) within a gift bag. Not my usual color, but I'm always keen to try new things. I found that the color went on well and looks good even with my short nails. The enamel even lasted well even after washing dishes and chasing a toddler around. What I especially liked was that this color can be used in any situation; day and night, work and play. I would definitely consider buying another one of their products in the future as it was fantastic value for money.
Tips: Add a top coat for extra protection.
I always go to Revlon when looking for nail varnish. I've tried so many of the 'top' brands like OPI over the years and although those brands have great colour ranges, Revlon does too and has the best staying power I've come across so far. I don't want to have to re-do my nails in anything less than 4 days ever!
Tips: To get 10 days wear you'd definitely need to have the right base and top coat and be careful with your manicure.
This is actually my favourite nail varnish after years of thinking OPI ruled all. It lasts longer than any other and my job is really hard on my hands and nails.
I purchased this in the shade 017 Scene Stealer which is a natural nail colour and the fact that I managed to use the whole bottle is a great indication of how much I loved it!
The formula applied really easily and smoothly and wasn't too thick. Dried reasonably quickly and lasted a good time without chipping. A nice hassle free nail polish and good value for money as well.
Tips: Apply a base and top coat for best effect. Relax and don't rush :)
