I always go to Revlon when looking for nail varnish. I've tried so many of the 'top' brands like OPI over the years and although those brands have great colour ranges, Revlon does too and has the best staying power I've come across so far. I don't want to have to re-do my nails in anything less than 4 days ever!

Tips: To get 10 days wear you'd definitely need to have the right base and top coat and be careful with your manicure.
I love this product!! The colours last long and look absolutely fabulous! There's a good range of colours to choose from for every occasion and are applied very easily. I love how long it lasts for!
I found that the nail polish chipped after a few days of wear, but the colours are amazing, and i would defs get more shades. I would like them to be more affordable, as i am in the low income bracket, but i still would buy them
The colours are fantastic! They are a wee bit expensive. They go on smooth, nice and opaque with only one coat. It has a nice brush, doesn't leave streaks. Using it on its own it stayed on 3-4 days before chipping. Using a different brand of top and base coat it stayed on for 4-5 day before chipping. Using Revlons top and base coat like specified it lasted 4-5 days before chipping.
Tips: I found using a Gel top and base coat made it stay on for 10-12days
I always used to go straight to these polishes in the pharmacy as a little girl and admire the different colours.
These come in a good variety of colours to suit anyone's taste. Two or three coats is best with a clear top coat to help it last. Doesn't meet it's claim for ten days but haven't found any polish to last that long without chipping.
Tips: Apply a clear top coat to prolong the wear.
Revlon nail polishes are one of my go to nail varnishes. The formula is a good consistency which makes it easy to spread the polish over the nail and doesn't leave any lumps in the polish. It dries reasonably quickly which is a great thing for me as I am always on the go and always need to use my hands. 2 coats is usually fine with most colours and sometimes if I'm in a real rush, one coat will do the job too! The staying power is around 2-3 days with no chips and if I use a top coat it can last up to 4-5 days with no chips. I prefer the polishes which have no glitter in them as I like the consistency better. All in all a good polish and a good price for those who have a tighter budget!
Tips: Apply a clear top coat to prolong chipping!
I usually buy OPI nailpolish but i'm on a mission to find great beauty products on a budget so while I was at my friends last night I gave some of her Revlon nail polish a go. It's the most gorgeous colour called 'flirt'. It went on great, dried reasonably fast, gave a good coverage with one coat but did two to be safe. I also finished with an OPI top coat she had. I love the look but the only negatives are that a few of my nails are a wee bit chipped already but admittely this is probably due to my weak nails rather than the fault of nail polish and possibly avoided had I done a base coat to begin with! Definitely recommend & can't wait to go buy some of my own.
Tips: Base coat & top coat are important if you want it to last a decent time. 10 days? I'm not sure..
I have a lot of nail polishes and my Revlon ones are always quality. I find they go on nice and easily, 2 coats is usually enough and they dry pretty quickly. Chipping is pretty standard but a good base and top coat will always help with that. They have a great range of colours and they're a reasonable price.
Tips: Keep an eye out at Postie Plus for Revlon polishes, they often have them for $8.00.
I own one Revlon Nail Enamel in a silver colour, and it's pretty good at staying on your nails and not chipping when worn with a top coat. I've been meaning to buy 'Minted' but everywhere I look it seems to be sold out so their colors are quite popular.
My only gripe is their brushes, with OPI's brushes you can easily apply polish in 2 / 3 strokes per coat where I find Revlon's brushes are quite thin (I also use their rapid dry topcoat which is the same) and can be a bit more prone to streaking as I use more brush strokes.
But for around $17 they're a cheaper alternative to OPI, with similar lasting length (I would say OPI quality is much higher), just lacking in a large colour range.
I received a nude hue (appropriately called Elegance) within a gift bag. Not my usual color, but I'm always keen to try new things. I found that the color went on well and looks good even with my short nails. The enamel even lasted well even after washing dishes and chasing a toddler around. What I especially liked was that this color can be used in any situation; day and night, work and play. I would definitely consider buying another one of their products in the future as it was fantastic value for money.
Tips: Add a top coat for extra protection.
