I’m always attracted to the variety of colours Revlon has. However, I don’t find them easy to apply and the quality always disappoint.
The brush is too skinny to cover my nails quickly and the colours don’t last long either. I have tried wearing a variety of colours from the range with and without base coat and top coat, to see if I could extend the wear. Mine always chipped within 2-3 days. Other brands last much longer.
The only reason I buy them every few years is because they do have a nice range of trendy colours.
Benefits: Classic range, with a lot of colours and finishes. When I'm searching for a nail polish I usually find the colour I want. There is often a range of sample nails that give you an idea of how the colours look Not too gunky and thick, the application is smooth. Even once I've had the polishes for a couple of years (!) they don't get thick and sticky like other ranges.
Downsides: I wish the brush was thicker, as I prefer a thicker brush that gets more of the nailbed in one sweep. Although it is pretty affordable, there are a few new ranges coming through that are cheaper with quality just as good.
Tips: Works best with a top and bottom coat.
