I have a love hate relationship with Revlon lip colours, and this range is erally the only range of lipstick that I like. (I do love the liquid matte lippies and the Matte chubby stick things) I have the shades Fire and Ice and Wine with everything at the moment, but have had numerous others in the past. These are both the Creme formulation, which is the only one of the four I have tried. It is lovely and creamy, and glides on easily. While it doesn't feather, you do have to be a bit more precise with your application, as it has a little tendancy to go everywhere-but only so much you need to be careful. I absolutely love the colour of Fire and Ice-a bright orangey, pinky red. Yes, orange AND pink-it seems to change according to the light/skin tone/various factors. The wear is ok-it lasts a couple of hours, which I'm ok with for the finish and the price. I don't however, like the amount of transfer. I would re-buy this I think, but on my wish list of lippies its about halfway from the top.

Tips: Grab your lip liner and concealer-this could get messy!
I have this lipstick in a couple of different shades, the lightest purple is absolutely gorgeous but the dark purple comes off so quickly it's so sad :( I've been desperately trying to find the colour Mauve On Over though because I heard that's an amazing colour!
I bought this in the shade mauve it over. I love the colour which is a nude colour like a kylie jenner lipstick, pink with brown undertones and it feels really moisturising and buttery when you apply it. However it's staying power is somewhat lacking as even applying it over a lip liner it's gone after a single glass of any juice, nevermind a meal. It has never survived a single meal yet however small.
I bought the colour Berry Haute which is a medium purple which is meant to be a dupe for Mac's Up The Amp. I definitely love the formula of this lipstick even though it is quite sheer but definitely buildable. It has a semi matte finish and is very moisturising. What I love about this colour is that you can choose the intensity of the purple to be more sheer or opaque.
I have quite a few of these in various shades. I find they have a good colour range but what I like most is the consistency of these on the lips. they are very creamy and comfortable to wear, as my lips tend to be w tad dry at times I love this as it makes them look smooth and healthy. I hate the feeling of dry lips and I find really mat lipsticks dry out my lips more. I find this formulation perfect. They don't last super long, so you will have to reapply. I do find the lasting time ok compared to some lippies I have tried though. I would recommend a try of these if you can. I will keep purchasing and would love if they bought out more new shades
Va Va Violet is deep purple shade which I picked up out of desperation for a dark purple lipstick! This lipstick is a current favorite and harmonizes beautifully with my olive skin tone, probably not a shade for a very pale skin tone.
The formula is silky smooth, the coverage is not the best I need a few coats of it and can still notice the natural pinkness of my lips underneath, but the color is vibrant.
This is quite a drying lipstick it pays to prime with a coat of balm. Maybe that's just with some of the shades as this there is a variety of finishes in the range. Va Va Violet has a matte finish and you are usually going to get a bit of dryness with a matte finish, although it doesn't cause cracking or flaking.
This isn't a very lasting lipstick, after a couple of hours it gets a bit patchy and faded but hey what do you expect for $13.
All in all the quality is fair for the price.
The one I have got is called Berry rich and I love the moisturizing feel that it gives to my lips. It has a creme formula and I must say the creme formula on these super lustrous lipsticks are one of my favorite. I love that it doesn't have any shimmer in it. The lipstick goes on smooth on lips and it is hydrating, so there is no need to put lip balm underneath. I also feel that its not long lasting and I need to re apply it after some time but I do that with my other lipsticks as well so, its not really a problem. I am definitely going to buy more shades of this super lustrous lipsticks in future!
Blushing mauve is so far the only shade i have from this range and I love the colour and the long-lasting wear of the lipstick. The formula has a creamy texture and the colour payoff is good and buildable. I do have one negative thing to say however, and that is I cannot leave this in my handbag as the lid doesn't always stay on even after it has been been firmly closed. I therefore only tend to wear this when I'm not going to be out for the whole day.
I got this lipstick as part of a Revlon GWP (to be fair, as part of MUM'S GWP :P) and have been wearing it daily to trial it.
I have shade 805: Kissable PInk - this is a good colour description! The colour is a soft, romantic, girly pale pink that is more matte in some lights but has a slight shimmer in others.
The packaging is a classic black twist-up with a gold band, and an innovative touch of a clear circle on the very top so you can see the colour through the tube.
The lipstick is an unscented, creamy-feeling, very moisturising formula. Even in the stick it looks inviting and nice to wear. On application it smooths on like a lip balm, without tackiness. It leaves lips feeling moisturised, and - yes - kissable!
It doesn't really set, and so does transfer and wear off fairly quickly, but reapplication is enjoyable so I don't mind that so much. The colour suits me and I like the feel of this, so I'd probably repurchase this for a day to day lipstick - but in more of a tinted balm capacity - colourstay it ain't!
I have so many of these lipsticks and they do not disappoint! They glide on with ease and the colours are stunning. My favourite shade is probably Berry Haute and I wear it out quite often - the staying power is very decent for a cheaper brand. No lip liner needed also for a lot of the colours in this range.
