Rimmel London 3 in 1 BB Cream

Going to get straight to the point with this one as it's orangey and no one wants that! There's nothing more disappointing when you get new a BB cream or foundation than to find that it has an orangey pigment to it.. The shade I got this BB cream in is medium.. Perhaps the light shade doesn't have that problem? I don't know, but I can manage to make this BB cream work, by buffing lashings of translucent powder over top of it. I can actually get it looking quite nice by doing this, as there's nothing wrong with the consistency of the BB cream, it applies nicely and smoothes the appearance of my skin as any BB cream should.

Another way I can make use of it is using it as a primer for a foundation that's a tad light.. If you're like me and always trying different foundations, you might end up with some that are too light, some that are too dark.. In this case you might find this BB cream usable as a primer to balance out a foundation that's a bit light for your skin tone.

Although i've managed to make use of this BB cream, I'd have to strongly advise against anyone considering purchasing it!

I purchased this because i use the foundation in this collection and love it. Lucky this was half price because i was a little disappointed. I have it in the light shade but it comes off very yellow and quite matte on my skin. This would be better suited for someone with oily skin who loves a good matte BB.

Don't get me wrong, the Rimmel 9 in 1 BB Cream does do its job. The problems I have with it are 1) the shades are very general, so initially it's very difficult to tell which shade you are. Since I have a tan/olive complexion, it makes colour-matching difficult, especially when the shades are that general. I have the medium/dark BB cream, which is not too bad, though maybe a bit dark for me. The main problem is the red pigment in the BB cream sometimes separates from the rest of the tones, leaving a slight red smear, almost like I've applied a light blush to my skin, which is annoying to fix. The product is also a bit too thick or maybe just a bit sticky, making blending it in a little hard, especially when using other products with it.

All in all, it does work to a basic extent, but is not an ideal BB cream.

Just purchased this a week ago and I am very pleased with the results its easy to apply not thick gives me a natural look as I am freckled all over my face love this as I can wear it alone my face after I have used it feels soft, and no redness . Very happy

I have super fair skin and purchased the lightest shade of this BB cream. Swatched and applied to the face this looked as though it would be a good match for me. Unfortunately however this like many other products oxidised to an orange/brown on me so have given it to my sister to try. In terms of coverage this performed pretty well for BB cream and blended out quite evenly. I didn't have any problems with oil breakthrough. This simply did not suit my skin tone.

Last week at The Warehouse they had 25% off cosmetics so I decided ugh I'm sick of wearing foundation I'll give another BB Cream a go, I had heard good reviews on this particular one.

Got home slapped it on with my fingers and I stunned. It had better coverage than my foundation!! I go between Moisture Mist Beauty Cake (which I am NOT loving and ELF Flawless Foundation) I was blown away!

Such a simple thin little tube of this could create a more flawless look than BEAUTY CAKE!! Holy cow batman!

So I wore it round home, just fingers application and it was doing so well , no separating or oilyness! Yes I know!!

Then I tried it, on a day out , this time with my flat top foundation brush, I think I applied a little too much , but who doesn't love a perfect , flawless cake face?? I know I love flawless. I could NOT stop looking at my face!! It's matte but still has a slight dewy finish.

I did not even have to apply powder... I actually think this might be my holy grail product from now on. BLOWN AWAY!

After Garnier's BB Creams I held dislike for BB Creams. But this one!

I wore moisturiser under mine, I don't think you could wear them without it, I did without moisturiser the first time and it was a little stiff to blend. Once the formula dries it does not budge.

I am so happy I tried this product now, I may not ever go back to regular foundation.

I found the colour good as well I purchased light. I need products with a yellow tone to them and this was perfect.

This was the first and only BB cream that I ever tried and when I first used it I hated it. Everything from the colour to the way it felt on my skin annoyed me, it's safe to say I was put off BB creams after this. After going through trouble with my skin becoming even more dry and sensitive and finding a good foundation to sit on my skin I gave this another try. I ended up loving it. The coverage is on the light side, as you would expect from a BB cream, but I manage to build it up a little without it becoming cakey. At first I thought the colour wasn't right for me but with good blending it works well. This is great for my dry skin as it feels moisturising and doesn't give me dry patches which a lot of foundations I have tried do. I now use this almost every day and love it.

I have just started using BB Creams and now have a few to compare this with. I really like the packaging - it's so easy to squeeze out the exact amount required.

This is really easy to apply to my face, I squeeze the product into my hands, rub them together lightly and rub all over my face. It gives really good natural looking coverage for my personal liking. It gives my skin a boost of colour and makes me look fresh. I've found that in some places on my skin it is a little patchy so I have to look closely in the mirror to spot those bits and blend it in really well.

I have found that it doesn't quite last all day, by mid-afternoon I feel I have to lightly retouch my face with a powder to get that coverage look. Otherwise this a great BB Cream.

I tried out this BB cream quite a while ago and I really liked it. It comes in tube packaging which is easy use. It has a nice fragrant smell to it. The consistency is quite thick which I liked. I applied this product with my hands, and it seemed to provide good light to medium coverage depending on how much product you apply. This BB cream lasted most of the day and oxidized a little bit towards the end of the day, but overall I am very impressed with this product. It is also reasonably priced.
