I got this product super cheap off Asos and so for the price I bought it for I cannot really complain. But I found this product far too orange for me even though I don't consider myself very pale and I found that my foundation actually rubbed/came off much quicker. It did also cling to the dry patches of my skin making me look very patchy, but it did feel very smooth on the other parts of my face.

Tips: Possibly not the best for very pale skin as it is quite orange
This was my first ever primer that i bought, i have quite large pores so a primer is a MUST! When i applied the primer it kind of stuck in my pores and the product is orange so it didnt look overly great. Its average, didnt completly smooth out my skin or minimise pores overly well. I found my skin to still be quite oily and i didnt really notice my foundation stayed much longer than without primer.
I'm a huge fan of this primer, a lot of people are concerned with how orange it is, but I found the colour counteracts the darkness of my under eye circles. It has a light consistency, and glides onto your skin nicely. I found it sunk into my pores and they became a lot less visible and makes my skin so smooth. It makes my foundation look flawless, I absolutely love this primer!! Also very affordable and lasts for ages.
Tips: Go and buy it!
I decided to try this as a cheaper alternative to my usual primer, but have to say I was disappointed.
Although this is described as smoothing out the skin and minimising pores, I would use it purely to prolong the wear of my foundation, and even then I would use it sparingly. I find it has an orange tinge to it, so you have to really rub it in before you put your foundation on. If you use too much (which is easy to do as it come pouring out of the tube) it can make your skin look shiny and actually made my mascara smear as soon as I got hot.
It is good enough if you are on a budget, but just does not stand up to the others I have used, and I would much prefer to spend a bit more and have better results.
Tips: Use sparingly and dab on t-zone only.
This isn't a great primer. It's orange, which I find odd. I just don't think it makes much of a difference, if any, to the longevity of my foundation. I have MASSIVE pores on my nose and going outwards towards the apples of my cheeks and this does nothing to make them appear smaller at all. You have to be super careful when you rub it in to make sure you don't get any orange patches on your skin. It also smells really odd, in my opinion. All in all it's just not a great product and you can find a lot better for similar prices.
So I am loving me some Rimmel products as of late! lol. Why did it take so long for me to discover this brand in the first place? I used the tiniest amount under my foundation and whilst not blown away by this product I did think my foundation sat a little better on my skin. Had no issues with the orange tone of it as I'm mixed ethnicity and so I don't have pale porcelain skin which I could see being an issue with this product.
Tips: Average, just average....
I brought this hearing it was a decent drug store primer, especially when I'm a student.I was shocked to realise after I brought it there were two types, a clear/white and an orange one. I had brought the orange. When applied I found that if not rubbed in properly my foundation went more orange than it should. that can be solved by rubbing it in quite alot. However this product did reduce my large pores alot which was pretty awesome and gave me a smooth face.
This is actually a good primer. I hadn't used it for a while due to having a couple of new ones, but rediscovered it and began re-using it during my product panning over recent months.
The packaging is very simple - a 30 ml squat white tube with dark purple screw cap and labelling. It's not inspiring packaging, but this is a product that lives in the bathroom, so that doesn't worry me. The screw cap can be a little tricky as once the products on your fingers the tube has to stay open until you have clean hands again which isn't ideal for a face product.
The primer is a disturbingly orange shade fresh from the tube but soon settles to a natural skin tone as you smooth it into your face. I have shade 001 and it's fine for my pale skin.
I have oily skin and this actually acts as a mattifier as well as a smoother, which I wasn't expecting. With this as a base it's much easier to smooth and blend foundation - and as promised the foundation does last when you use this.
It has a foundation-y scent, which is very faint and not at all offensive. Once applied, skin feels very smooth.
I don't know that a primer of this nature is necessary every day - I mostly use it when my skin is shocking, or at night - but this is definitely worth a go for the comparatively small pricetag
Tips: Cleanse twice... I find once isn't enough when you've primer on!
This product is a great price & to be fair, is pretty good value for money. It makes your skin feel smooth & dries quickly, ready for your foundation. Foundation then goes on smoothly & blends out well. It definitely helps with staying power, but I have found that now it is getting colder, my foundation seems to separate on my nose. If I dont have the primer on, it just rubs off.
Sent from my iPad is that whilst it
Tips: Pat this into your skin rather than rub like you would a foundation, especially if you are prone to breakouts. I find this keeps skin more settled.
So, I had run out of my usual primer and grabbed this to tide me over.....Oh my goodness, I really hated this! Firstly, it was easy enough to apply, and felt smooth as other primers I have tried. Moving on.... Its so orange!!! Not that it made my whole face orange just the little dry patches! As a primer, I just found it awful, it flaked, and went patchy under my makeup, and accentuated all my little flaky/dry patches with its weird orangeness!! Everytime I touched my face it would "roll" and look like I had eraser rubbings on my face. To the bin it went!!! I was better off with no primer at all lol!
