Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Primer Review

This was the first primer I ever used. I was a little worried about it's peachy/orange tone and the scent really got to me.

I decided to try it anyway and it did nothing to my skin except make it look really greasy (which is odd because I have dry skin), and it didn't help foundation stay on. I'm now wondering I this is because of the greasiness.

I'm not sure ifI I perhaps got a bad batch but I used it straight for a week and then threw it out, I hated it so much

I was looking for another primer to use and came across this one, I was so excited to try it because I love the Rimmel products. It glides on very smooth, it has a mousse texture to it and a browny orange colour to it. Once its rubbed into your skin the colour fades and it leaves a smooth finish to your skin.

I found using a small amount of product and applying it to small areas worked a lot better than using a larger amount and applying it to your face because if you don't rub it in properly the primer leaves a powdery finish to all the parts you didn't rub in properly.

It made my foundation last a little longer compared to just wearing foundation. I have only recently used up all the primer but wont be purchasing it again.

This is my every day primer and i use it religously! i love that its super affordable and it really does the job it says it does :) the colour that it is when it comes out is a bit of a put off but when blended i cant tell. It does make my foundation last all day and really smoothes out my skin for a flawless finish. I would say that im in love with this primer!!

I love Rimmel foundations and so thought I would give a rimmel primer a go.

This primer has a peachy tint which once rubbed in disappears (although is a bit odd looking when you squeeze it out of the tube). I found this made my skin feel smooth (in that silicon primer kind of way) but didn't minimize my pores at all. It did seem to help my foundation stay looking nice all day but that's about all it did. I wouldn't recommend this primer and will not be repurchasing it.

I had never used a primer before until purchasing the Lime Crime eyeshadow helper, now that is a winner and I was totally convinced that primer is amazing and that I needed a full face version. This product is not it.

I like Rimmel, I do, normally they're products are spot on for me but I did find this to be lacking. It felt amazing at first, smoothed on really nicely, felt light and refreshing as I let it dry, smelt pretty good for a primer, I was convinced! Until a few hours later at work. I am a receptionist in a small beauty therapy clinic and it get's pretty hot sometimes. I may as well have not been wearing a primer for all the good that this little pot did me. While I don' expect a primer to be a life saving remedy. The Lime Crime version across my cheeks and nose worked a treat. This was definitely dissapointing.

I boasted about this when I first used it, but it was my first primer.. I realise now my mistake. Whilst this is cheap, and probably good for dry skin, my skin is normal-oily and found this has no power compared to other primers. It does come out of the tube orange, but it does go clear I found, but if you were incredibly pale, I don't know if you would go orange or not, because it can be quite a strong colour.

I think if you're on a very low budget, with dry skin, this would be a primer to try, and eventually move on from, but other than that, no way.

I bought this product on a whim- I wanted something else which wasn't in stock, and picked this up because it was there. The first time I opened it was a shock- it's very orange. And as a person with practically transparent skin that was daunting. However, as long as it's well blended, it doesn't add any color to your skin. I didn't find that my pores were smaller, but my foundation definitely lasted longer.

This is a great drugstore Primer. I find that it does fill in my pores, and actually hides some purple scarring on my face. However I am not sure that it actually holds my foundation on any longer, and I find that it is rather sticky, which makes applying foundation sometimes a little strenuous in the morning. Not great, but not bad either.

I like this primer i just purchased it as it was on sale in kmart and i like it. It doesnt really give a silicony feeling like most primers but still feels good. it doesnt chnge thr colour to your face which i also like. Kept my make up on a few hours longer also sprayed mac fix spray on top and and it doubles the long wear.

I use this primer almost everyday with my tinted moisturiser. It really helps the tinting effect to last longer. However, when I used the primer with RImmel BB cream, I had this cakey feeling. I tried to improve this by scrubbing my face before putting make-up on and using a good sponge as well. Sadly, I can't achieve the natural look I want.
