This was my first ever primer that i bought, i have quite large pores so a primer is a MUST! When i applied the primer it kind of stuck in my pores and the product is orange so it didnt look overly great. Its average, didnt completly smooth out my skin or minimise pores overly well. I found my skin to still be quite oily and i didnt really notice my foundation stayed much longer than without primer.

I got this product super cheap off Asos and so for the price I bought it for I cannot really complain. But I found this product far too orange for me even though I don't consider myself very pale and I found that my foundation actually rubbed/came off much quicker. It did also cling to the dry patches of my skin making me look very patchy, but it did feel very smooth on the other parts of my face.
Tips: Possibly not the best for very pale skin as it is quite orange
So, I had run out of my usual primer and grabbed this to tide me over.....Oh my goodness, I really hated this! Firstly, it was easy enough to apply, and felt smooth as other primers I have tried. Moving on.... Its so orange!!! Not that it made my whole face orange just the little dry patches! As a primer, I just found it awful, it flaked, and went patchy under my makeup, and accentuated all my little flaky/dry patches with its weird orangeness!! Everytime I touched my face it would "roll" and look like I had eraser rubbings on my face. To the bin it went!!! I was better off with no primer at all lol!
Rimmel's Fix and Perfect primer is my holy grail of primer and pre-foundation products. There is no words that can describe how much I love this product - but I'll give it a shot!
At first, I will definitely say I was a bit hesitant when first applying the product. It does come out very salmon (or orange) from the tube, but once applied to my very pale skin, it worked wonders with helping reduce dark circles and patches in my skin.
It left my skin feeling incredibly soft. It didn't reduce the pores so much, but enough for it to look as smooth as it felt.. and who wants zero pores anyway? I don't really want to look massively photoshopped.
The primer definitely made my foundation last all day. I've used it under 3 different foundations/BB Creams (Revlon PhotoReady, Rimmel Match Perfection + Garnier BB Cream) and all had the same long lasting goodness with the primer underneath.
The price is fantastic - I've seen and used primers that can cost $30+ which will do the same thing, if not worse of a job.. so having this in an affordable price range (I picked mine up for $14 on sale at The Warehouse, $18 at Farmers) is absolutely fabulous.
The only downside I've found is that even though it's in a squeezy bottle - it's hard to get the last bits out. I've resorted to cutting the top off when I can't squeeze any more out and find there is heaps left for a week or twos application.
I really, truly love this product and would definitely recommend it to friends - to anyone really who is after a cheap primer that is also fantastic!
Tips: Don't be afraid of the salmon colour! It counteracts dark, cooler tones.
I did not enjoy this product at all.
I have quite pale skin so the orangey/salmon colour did not work well for me at all! It was super noticeable once applied which wasn't good at all.
May work for people with darker skin but for me it was a no-go.
I had previously used another brand priner and was very disappointed, so didn't want to spend a lot on something which didn't work.
For the price this product is amazing.
My makeup goes on at 6.30am, and is still in place at 9pm when I take it off.
For the price it is certainly worth trying - I was very pleasantly suprised.
Tips: Wait for it to lose its initial moisture before apply foundation (only takes a minute ot so)
I swear by this primer... My skin is left feeling hydrated and my imperfections aren't so noticeable. Though I found it hard to 'move' around due it being quite a thick creamy consistency, I found for the price you pay, it's well worth it!! It doesnt last as long as my other oily based ones (I found the oily ones best for using less product)
Tips: Use your fingers!!! It heats up the primer and therefore glides on and covers more area that way!
I've used this several times since I purchased it and to be quite honest, it doesn't do much for my skin.
The packaging is very Rimmel-esque, in that it's very basic and looks like something that is sold at K-Mart or The Warehouse. It comes in a squeezy tube, so to me it is quite practical as you can squeeze out the product to the last drop.
As for the product itself, it has a slight tint to it, which didn't bother me at all since I am quite dark skinned. The texture is very creamy and it does melt in to the skin nicely. I must admit for a 'drugstore' primer, it did leave my skin baby-soft. The real downfall of this product, is that it did absolutely nothing for the longevity of my foundation. So as of now, I have mixed reviews on this primer I actually prefer to just use moisturiser.
If you're after a primer that will leave your skin feeling super soft then this is the one to go for. However, it will do nothing to keep your foundation in place all day, and you will need to powder a lot throughout the day.

I'm not in love with this, nor do I hate it but for some reason I cant quite justify the point of it though I really do want to try the 002 as I have the 001 and its seems to be more like a tinted moisturizer, i don't see much difference after i've applied my foundation over it either. it doesn't minimize my pores :( I am very light skinned too with quite a few freckles so was kind of a weird colour for my skin. For the price, can't expect too much from it. Ohwell, atleast I tried it :)
Tips: Use fingers to apply to warm it up and blend it in more. I found it didnt really help when i used my brushes, made it look even worse on my face.
I'm a huge fan of this primer, a lot of people are concerned with how orange it is, but I found the colour counteracts the darkness of my under eye circles. It has a light consistency, and glides onto your skin nicely. I found it sunk into my pores and they became a lot less visible and makes my skin so smooth. It makes my foundation look flawless, I absolutely love this primer!! Also very affordable and lasts for ages.
Tips: Go and buy it!
