I have used alot of powders trying to find one that doesn't dry out my skin as I already have more dryer skin but still need some foundations to set. I got the shade translucent but this was too white, it did not give a natural glow look on myself instead it clung to dry patches making my face look patchy and far too dry. I haven't actually had much luck with the Rimmel powders however they have some amazing foundations. I also don't love the packaging the lid comes off to easily I would have loved for it to be a screw on just to secure it a bit more.

I use with a small amount of foundation most days and find it helps to stop my skin looking so oily, however, oil does start to show thought after few hours especially in my T-zone. I found this a very lightweight powder, which feels natural on the skin, but did not find the translucent powder gave my skin any glow as advertised. If anything this powder tones down the make up look, which I like but is not promoted as a selling point of the product.
Tips: Sometimes I reapply on my T- zone during the day to stop oily skin but I know this is not always practical and not what most people are looking for in a product.
This is the first time I've used a powder. I bought the translucent powder, and it does set my foundation. Although as the day goes on, by oils still seep through. Also this powder did lighten the areas I put it on, which did make my overall makeup look seem a bit patchy. Like I say, I'm a first time powder user, so I'm not really sure what to expect
