LOVE this lipstick so much it has become one of my go-to lipsticks! It is pigmented and it lasts quite a while too. It's very creamy and doesn't make my lips dry or itch (which tends to happen with some lipsticks) I can't wait to get my hands on more colours!

I've been looking for a Coral coloured lipstick for a while to try something different so while I was shopping for some other Rimmel products, I thought I'd pick this one up and give it a try.
This product smells amazing, kinda like a lolly store. But that's about as much praise as I can give it. I found the product didn't apply very nicely and isn't very pigmented. It has a very shiny finish that looks quite uneven and sparkly which I don't prefer in a lipstick.
I love the brand, and I'm willing to try out more colours in this range, but this Coral colour just wasn't right for me.
Tips: Maybe use a matching lip liner underneath for a more pigmented appearance.
I love how this line has so many colours. My favourite in particular is "Asia" which is a neutral/mauve/nudish colour on me. The lipsticks are very moisturising and quite long wearing and doesnt fade funny (patchy or uneven). Asia is a shade where you can just throw it on without a mirror if you need a bit of a pick me up!
Tips: Use with lip liner to make longer lasting.
I had always swatched these lippies in farmers, and never been that taken with them. However, I saw one in a beautiful shade at the make-up sale, and decided to take a chance. I'm hooked now! I have the shade 09 - It's an amazing, dark, blue based red - my absolute favourite shade. It glides on smoothly, and doesn't pull my lips when I apply. It's incredibly pigmented - so one swipe is usually enough. Finally, it really does have a 'lasting finish' - I can usually get at least 5 hours wear out of this, with eating and drinking. It doesn't transfer too much, and I happily wear it out to dinner or on a night out. It has a lovely matte finish, but it's not in the least bit drying - just perfectly matte. I absolutely adore this lipstick, and it's now in my top 2 favourites.
Tips: Wait for a special at Farmers or the Warehouse to make it a bit cheaper.
This is my go to everyday lippy. The colour is a lovely pinky nude that is super wearable. The formula is super creamy and softening. However for an avid coffee drinker like myself, I would hardly call it long lasting, it wears like most drugstore brands. Another great thing about this lipstick is that it is easily blendable, I often add layer it on top of other lipsticks to soften the look. It also has a nice subtle scent almost slightly vanillary. Definitely will repurchase.
Tips: Add lip liner to make a richer colour.
I recently purchased this in the shade Asia and I have found myself reaching for it most days when getting ready for work.
The formula is nice and creamy, it applies really smooth and opaque. Doesn't feather or bleed after application.
I personally don't find this to be very long wearing, I might get a few hours of wear but I will always chuck it in my handbag as I know I will need to be doing touch ups throughout out the day.
Overall I'm really happy with the quality of the product for the price you pay. They have a good range of shades and I will definitely be picking up a few more.
Red bucket had a sale on and I was very excited to try this lipstick out. So far Ive tried two other lines from Rimmel and I haven't been disapointed yet by the formula of their lip colours. Rimmels easily accesible in stores and online. I believe their products are sold within a good rate.
This lipstick comes in a deep blue or black packaging depends on what line you get. I got the deep blue. I got a colour called En Vouge. Its a bright vibrant shade of pink. Great colour for spring and summer wear. This formula is creamy and has a smooth finish on my lips.
On application I find this lipstick swivels up perfectly out of its packaging. I can easily smooth this shade on my lips without any layering whatsoever. As for the lasting finish , doesn't really have a lasting finish. Honestly I dont expect lipsticks to last long , I do expect transfer with eating and drinking.
Over all definately a good brand to start out with if your experimenting with lipstick. Great hydration. Is affordably priced. Watch online stores sometimes they have these available at a cheaper price. Id definately buy these again as a gift for a friend.
One of my very first lipstick was a Rimmel in iced heather that was the trend of the time, recalling how much I wore it back then I went on a mission to find it again. Unfortunately it appears they don't make that shade anymore so picked up drop of sherry instead.
Packaged in a pretty dark aubergine plum case with an offset topped cap that mimics the lipstick shape, stamped with the Rimmel crown logo. Its a pretty classy looking lipstick.
Formula wise, this glides on with a creaminess that slowly melts onto your lips leaving a satin finish with a slight sheen. Drop of Sherry is exactly that the colour of sherry is you were to spill a little on the counter, its a soft orange red with a brown undertone hue that has a wonderful scent that actually reminds me of sherry, now not sure if that is just because I am thinking about sherry and it is in fact a more vanilla scent but this is what pops into my mind. So it is a joy to apply.
Keeps your lips hydrated but it isn't an unmovable lip product, if you blot the excess off it does resist minor transfer onto cups etc but this moves off your lips after a while, probably a good 2-3 hours of colour until all gone, quicker if you chat a lot of eat something.
Great for affordability and ease of access as this is available from Farmers as well as some online stores here in NZ. Good all rounder.
Managed to grab this for only $5 from Farmers red dot clearance and have been wanting to try it for ages, so this was the perfect opportunity. Shade Amethyst Shimmer. I love the packaging, looks super cute. With the name lasting finish I was expecting a super stay lipstick, similar to revlon colorstay but I was sadly disappointed. This is just like any of my other lipsticks, it doesn't have much staying power, it transfers easily and you will have to reapply quite often. Though it is a lovely shade, I was let down by the fact that the name doesnt match the product. I'll keep using this until it's gone but probably wouldnt bother repurchasing, I'll go for revlon colorstay next time for no budge lipstick!
As most of you would know by now I am a very faithful Rimmel girl, so it's not a surprise that I would have/love this!
The pigmentation on these are astounding! One swipe over your lips mean you have a pretty, shimmery pout and it's buildable too if you need a more intense look. It really does last all day long.
The smell is amazing, a fruity, pleasant smell.
Now, the packaging isn't great. It feels a little cheap and the cap tends to fall off a lot, but it's a minor technicality I am willing to overlook for the product inside.
