I just bought this 3 weeks ago and only coz it was on special for $8 (boxing day sales). Before this I wore Rimmel Wake Me Up which I love also but this one I love more. Compared to Wake Me Up, this one seems to have a lighter consistency where as Wake Me up a little bit creamy. I bought two of the Match Perfection as back ups coz it's that good and for the price I had to. I like the feel of it on my skin, I have normal to dry skin. Really really like this product and it's now my go to foundation for normal everyday wear if leaving the house for work, run errands etc. It has great staying power and with good powder and primer it lasts all day with little touch ups

So used this product a couple of times just wasnt right for me maybe i grabed a colour that was to dark. Great coverage and blend. And price was great cause got it on special at a sale. Professional packaging very eye catching but yeah not really right for my skin seems to bring out my dry patches on my face.
I got the Rimmel perfect match foundation at farmers when they had a two for one deal. I wanted the perfect match concealer (which is totally amazing btw) so I grabbed this foundation to give it a try. My shade is 102 light nude. I was quite excited when I first applied it as it was a "perfect match" to my skin tone. It has a slightly yellow undertone which I need so I dont look grey or washed out or slightly pink as happens with some other brands. This formula is quite runny and super easy to apply and blend. I use either a beauty blender or brush and get flawless even, skin. My skin is dry. And some foundations accentuate this. Perfect match does not. It gave me a very slightly matte but not dry or dull finish. I would say it is a sheer to medium coverage depending on which application method you use. Because it is not a thick formula it is easy to layer and build up to a good medium coverage. So first impressions for me were great. I was surprised that such a cheapie foundation was working out so well. But unfortunately for me it isnt very long wearing. As I have a dryer skin using too much mattifying powder or powder full stop to set my foundation is not really an option. I so wanted to love this. And I do still use it occasionally. Because the colour match is one of the best I have found for me. But am still trying to find the best way to make it stick and not fade away. for the price I say give it a shot. It was almost perfect for me..
Tips: If your skin can handle it definately set this one with some powder
even the lightest shade was to orange looking for my skin :/ havent been able to find it in any lighter. it also feels quite oily on your face so you have to use quite alot of powder over top to get that smooth look
I bought Rimmel Match Perfection in 010 Light Porcelain, as it's supposed to be a good colour dupe for MAC NW10. This foundation is very lightweight and quite pale, but undeniably pink toned. It doesn't have much coverage so I needed extra concealer for flaws, but for an everyday foundation I quite liked it!
This is the perfect everyday foundation. It's nice and light, yet the coverage is buildable. It's also quite cheap to purchase so I often wear this during the week and save my high end foundations for the weeks or when I need better coverage. There is quite a large colour range so easy to find a colour to suit you.
This foundation is amazing! I was suprised at how much coverage I got for how light and breathable it was.
Pros: Lightweight Lasted all day at work
Cons: Colour wasn't exactly correct - a little too orange Didn't cover up all my redness
Tips: I applied this with my real techniques buffing brush. I placed the foundation on my face, buffed it in and then dabbed where I needed extra coverage. I then set with Rimmel Match Perfection Translucent Loose Powder.
I definitely think I got the wrong shade of this, which doesn't help at all. Despite that, I tried it out any way.. For me it was a tad drying, I like my foundations to be a little more luminous. I found this almost had a 'powdery' finish to it. The coverage is amazing! I would recommend this for those with more oily skin, or if you prefer a more matte finish
Tips: Use a flat top brush or damp sponge to apply
I only just recently got this product and I was extremely impressed! It covers 90% of my redness, pores and blemishes. Has an amazing lightweight feel and doesn't give off a cakey look. The only downside I had was hoping for just a little more coverage as some of my pimple scars came through (I have fairly bad skin), other than that I would recommended for sure!
Tips: Use a mineral primer to give yourself a flawless finish! Also adds to the staying power for the days when you are on the go (:
Even the palest shade was too orange for me and was a streaky mess at that. Would try again if they released better shades for fair skin tones.
