This is a nice foundation however when I put it on it look’s beautiful but within an hour or two it goes super patchy on my skin and looses all coverage I understand this is meant to be a light coverage foundation but I just expected a little bit better quality

This foundation is okay but wouldn't be one i would repurchase. It applied nicely, is a light coverage but after a bit of wear it left my skin looking Shiney and oily. It was also one that would transfer if i touched my face. Setting powder did help a little but i just don't think it was right for my skin. Is nice easy to use packaging and good price just not for me xx
So used this product a couple of times just wasnt right for me maybe i grabed a colour that was to dark. Great coverage and blend. And price was great cause got it on special at a sale. Professional packaging very eye catching but yeah not really right for my skin seems to bring out my dry patches on my face.
Meh- this foundation was actually better than I expected considering how little it cost. I wasn't a fan of the super strong scent- my skin is problematic at best so I tend to steer clear from really fragrance heavy foundations. Not great- didn't have great lasting power and oxidised a wee bit. If you have pretty good, non senstive skin then this might be a goer. All in all, with foundation you tend to get what you pay for.
I saw a few people rave on about this product, so I thought I would give it a shot! I used right until the end of the product, however I was never super impressed with it. It went on fine, but the coverage wasn't impressive, I think i also may have gotten a shade to light as it just didn't sit nicely on my face! I like my foundations to be light-medium coverage, but at the type I was using this my skin wasn't in the best condition, so I was after something with more coverage and sadly this product wasn't it. I have found other foundations since this, so sadly I don't think I will be repurchasing this one!
This was my first (and possibly only) Rimmel foundation. I found that it went very streaky when using a foundation brush but applied ok with a wet beauty blender.
The packaging was nice. It felt nice and sturdy, with a secure lid. I like that I am able to see the product through the bottle too.
The foundation is quite watery so I was concerned that I was "washing" away my primer. It only provided very light coverage and clung to dry areas that I didn't even know I had, despite using moisturiser and primer first. An hour or two later it was slipping off my face due to my oily skin (I had set it with powder but it didn't help) which was very disappointing.
I'd recommend this foundation to someone starting out in makeup (my teenage niece for example) who has an even complexion and normal (not dry or oily!) skin.
Tips: Apply with a beauty blender, and avoid if you are prone to particularly dry or oily skin.
This gave a reasonable amont of coverage but didnt seem to last the whole day. Can appear abit cakey sometimes. It comes in a pump bottle which is fine however i find the tip a bit tricky and end up with product running down the side which could just be a fault from the supplier if the pump. Its not the best product I have tried on my skin(which is usually quite dry) but is definitely not near the worst ive tried. It is good value for money so would not turn my nose up at this product. Give it a go
I got the Rimmel perfect match foundation at farmers when they had a two for one deal. I wanted the perfect match concealer (which is totally amazing btw) so I grabbed this foundation to give it a try. My shade is 102 light nude. I was quite excited when I first applied it as it was a "perfect match" to my skin tone. It has a slightly yellow undertone which I need so I dont look grey or washed out or slightly pink as happens with some other brands. This formula is quite runny and super easy to apply and blend. I use either a beauty blender or brush and get flawless even, skin. My skin is dry. And some foundations accentuate this. Perfect match does not. It gave me a very slightly matte but not dry or dull finish. I would say it is a sheer to medium coverage depending on which application method you use. Because it is not a thick formula it is easy to layer and build up to a good medium coverage. So first impressions for me were great. I was surprised that such a cheapie foundation was working out so well. But unfortunately for me it isnt very long wearing. As I have a dryer skin using too much mattifying powder or powder full stop to set my foundation is not really an option. I so wanted to love this. And I do still use it occasionally. Because the colour match is one of the best I have found for me. But am still trying to find the best way to make it stick and not fade away. for the price I say give it a shot. It was almost perfect for me..
Tips: If your skin can handle it definately set this one with some powder
even the lightest shade was to orange looking for my skin :/ havent been able to find it in any lighter. it also feels quite oily on your face so you have to use quite alot of powder over top to get that smooth look
Unfortunately I did not have a nice experience with this foundation. I was employed to promote this product and applied it to many different faces, all sorts of shades and textures, and for the most part, this foundation is pretty good for the price. The shades are pretty impressive and it covers evenly and well, not too thick and doesn’t get cakey.
I thought I’d try it for myself. I applied a shade that did fit me very well and off I went to work. By the time I arrived I was horrified to discover That my skin had broken out horribly! I had to remove all the foundation because it was really bothering me. I’m not sure what it was that bothered my skin specifically but unfortunately it doesn’t agree with me.
