Rimmel Lasting Radiance Foundation Reviews

This is a nice foundation which stays put. It contains some sparkle which gives your skin a radiant look. I use the radiant primer with this which keeps my skin looking its best. Though this is radiant the formula is somewhat drier than the dewy foundation I normally use, however I mix the two and get the exact result I'm after, radiant glowing skin that lasts for hours definitely a winner for me.

Man the price is great on this! I like cosmetic products when they have added benefits. ☺ Added spf 20 too, such a bonus. Needs blending ofcourse,but a great product all round. Good lasting power with primer.

Love it!!! Great size glass container with pump top, its clear so you can see how much is left and its got spf 25!! Whats not to love? I love the consistency and luckily i chose the right colour for me so it blends in nice and even and lasts all day. I tried it on a day around home and also went on a big walk in the warmth to see how it would cope and im pleased to say really well. The big thing with me is i don't want a heavy foundation that is going to rub off on my wee girl, so this is perfect, its lightweight so covers just enough to even out my skin tone and it has the spf factor which is so important to me. I think im going to be giving up the previous brand and moving to this one. Change is as good as a holiday right!! Love it :)

I trialled this product alongside the concealer and primer in the same range and I really enjoyed all of them. This foundation is a great full coverage glowy base with a bit of a shimmer effect to it.

I found that I didn’t need to use much to get full coverage with this product - less than a small fingernail was all that was required for me for a regular day look but it’s great for creating a full glam look too!

As a pale gal I found even the lightest shade slightly too warm for me but once the whole look is together it works well and - as mentioned - doesn’t require much!

I definitely think I’ll continue to use this foundation along with the whole range and I can’t wait for an excuse to use it as a base for something more glam.

I have been wanting to try this Rimmel Foundation for a long time and I did manage to get it from countdown and was so excited to try. My usual foundations are Clinique and Estée Lauder so I wanted to see how this compared.

It’s a lovely foundation! Even for my dry and slightly sensitive skin. The formula gives a lovely healthy glow and gives quite good coverage.

It’s such a great foundation at a great price point! It’s actually very comparable to the high end more expensive foundations.

It’s become a favourite!

I chose shade 100 Ivory from trial confirmation. There wasn’t too many to choose from – 6 in total. Feel that’s a good thing, too many to choose from gets so confusing, constant changing my mind, especially when shopping online.

We were asked to trial the product fairly & for the committed time, even if the colour wasn’t quite right. Upon, arriving my heart sunk, thinking that the colour chosen was far too dark. Such a usual thing when buying online without doing a colour match. Colour test on the inside of my wrist appeared too dark, even the 100 Ivory colour which was the second lightest. It really just seemed too orange/bronze like. I wouldn’t have purchased it in store based on this BUT I have been proven wrong.

When applying, after smoothing and settling in, the colour actually gives a sun kissed glow without looking like more than just a BB cream has been applied. Radiant describes well. Gives a much smoother cover than just BB cream. This is not a bad thing for me; I have days where I want much more cover and days where this look would work with just some powder to set.

The cover is even and easily applied (I use the Nude by Nature BB cream brush), short bristles. Other products I have used can be patchy & uneven after one layer. Preferred to put on top of hand and apply with a brush, saying that it was also quite nice to just apply with fingertips. Doesn't dry too fast or dry to glunky.

I applied with Primer and Without Primer – both ways were the same. It gave me enough time to gently just work it in, blending without drying too fast.

This is where I am happiest with this product, for a fuller cover just adds another layer. The first layer still stays flexible enough to continue blending in.

I have normal skin, had no reaction. States being a medium cover foundation, anti-pollution with SPF25. Anything with SPF a favourite for me. Anti-pollution not a draw card, pretty sure foundation isn’t really going to save me from pollution. Also claims I’ll get 24 hour hydration, I never need to wear foundation for 24 hrs. I found after 4 hours a touch up was needed, but that’s ok, would always just touch things up anyway with lippy etc.... I also don’t use a setting spray, to be honest if I wanted full day coverage with all the bells and whistles for say a wedding I probably wouldn’t use this foundation. But for all the days in-between I’m very satisfied.

A versatile, adaptable, fresh product that does a great everyday job, with the price point being $25.00 from Farmers, The Warehouse, Countdown...the convenience is appreciated, it gets 4 ticks from me, what a amazing price!

Not a “holy grail” product, just a decent & not too complicated stable. If there are days or weeks when you just need something to do a great job and can be relied on this is the one.

I am so impressed with this foundation, the shade I received was ivory and it's perfect. The consistency is natural and doesn't look caked on and thats what I'm after. The pump makes it easy to use and doesn't allow me to waste any product. I like the orange packaging too it looks very classy. Overall I would like to keep using this foundation and will be recommending to all.

Not quite sure about the skin fighting pollution, but I found this foundation rather pleasing.

I applied only the smallest amount to my sponge and applied all over. The foundation had a great texture, it spread nice and evenly over my face and did not leave any blotchyness or did not look caked on.

I can’t comment on the SPF25 - though it sounds great!

I felt I had a good amount of coverage when applied and was pretty happy with the coverage at the end of the day as well.

I really liked this foundation, I found it to be a good everyday wear. The scent of the foundation was pleasant and the coverage could be light to medium. It appeared to last the day. The foundation rubbed in perfectly and had a nice glow to it. Super easy to work with.
