This is a pretty good brow pencil. i picked it up for only $10 from the warehouse
i like the color its great for my very dark brows. but not black as i find they look sluggish if i use black.
the little brow brush/comb that is attached to the lid is great!. its so convenient and definitely necessary. i always need one as my brows are rather thick and unruly.
the pencil itself is rather waxy. which i personally like. its not very soft though and doesnt apply smoothly. it can take a bit of blending to get it right.
i think i will buy this again. its so cheap and readily available. it works great in conjunction with elf brow kit and clear gel.
With my eyebrows i find it extremely hard to find a brow product to match my eyebrow color as they're dark brown with a tinge of blondish! Hazel Remmel eyebrow pencil is my fav i use it everyday and i haven't changed and i doubt i ever will. such a low price for an amazing product :)
Tips: PLEASE DONT GO BOLD OR 2 THIN UGHHHHHHHHH
I bought this affordable product thinking i wouldn't really benefit from it but it was great. The formula is perfect as it is not too thick and naturally fills in the eyebrows without having to press to light or to hard. The brush on the lid was also amazing as i brushed your eyebrows to the perfect shape to pencil. But… unfortunately the shade 'hazel' was to orange for me as my eyebrows are a lighter shade of brown. For my shade of eyebrow i would recommend the other shades if your eyebrow does not have an orange tint to it. Other than that everything else about it was great.
Tips: After applying the pencil to the brows use the brush on the lid to blend the pencil a little more to give the more naturally filled look.
When i was brunette i used the Rimmel Eyebrow pencil in the colour dark brown. I loved it as i loved bold brows back then. I ended up going through 3 pencils i believe(i was a bit addicted) Then when i went blonde i decided to get the one in the shade hazel. I thought it would work the same as the dark brown but just be a lighter shade but it didn't turn out that way. The pencil was hard to apply and didn't come off softly like the dark brown did. After pretty much having to draw on my brows to get some product on them, the Hazel came out way to orange for me and it looked horrible! I still have it and occasionally use it as an eyeliner instead but it isn't that great as an eyeliner either. I would definitely repurchase the dark brown but i wouldn't recommend the Hazel, unless you had hair with an orange tint to it.
I have tried a few eyebrow pencils in my time, but I have to say the Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil is my favourite. It is the right thickness and consistency for me - I don't find it too soft or too hard and the Dark Brown is the perfect colour!
Im a big fan of Rimmel but I found the Eyebrow pencil was too soft and too dark. I brought the Dark brown eyebrow pencil for $14 a while back in Farmers, the brush is too hard to brush up the eyebrows and it hurts. Since the pencil is quite creamy you still to set it with a little powder or it smudges if your happen to rub them. I prefer to use this pencil for eyeliner and make a brown smoky eye look with it, this was a fail for my eyebrows and just made them look like dark brown worms, I am still a big Rimmel junkie but this product wasn't for my eyebrows.
This is my new favourite eyebrow pencil. It is the perfect shade for my eyebrows giving enough colour without looking too dark or false. Although my brows are naturally darker, I find that using a lighter shade such as "hazel" fills them in without looking overdone.
The texture is just right and draws on a good line and shape with ease. I then use it to feather in colour in to my sparse brows making them appear more even and full.
The packaging is tasteful and simple and comes with a built in brush on the lid to tame wild brows. It is effective and useful too.
The colour lasts all day unless you accidently rub it off. I tend to set mine with a tiny bit of hairspray applied with my finger or some brow gel from another product I have.
I recommend this to others if you want a simple effective brow pencil. It takes a practised hand to get the ideal shape with just a pencil as brow kits have perfectly shaped brushes but it's worth it once you get the hang of it! It's a steal at only $14 n Farmers too, so much cheaper than similar products from other brands.
Tips: Practise getting the perfect shape for you...Great eyebrows can totally transform your face!
This is such a disappointing product. If you've found your most absolute holy grail product, don't bother trying this out. The pencil is way too soft to be an eyebrow pencil, its not firm so it means its gonna put too much product on your brows which makes you look like you applied sharpie on them, and by the first hour, half of your eyebrows are faded and smudged on your skin. The little brush is no help as well. I didn't like that it had a red undertone and that the pencil needs to be constantly sharpened. Save your money for something better and skip on this one
I finally decided to purchase my first eyebrow pencil, this one caught my eye at Kmart, they had no testers so decided to pick the lightest shade they had (bad mistake, it is a tad orangey for my Brows, Lesson Learnt)
I find the application of this product to be really easy, the pencil is a perfect texture and goes on very smoothly. I like how it has a brush at the end to sort the brows into line, and smudge the pencil in. I find that I have used a few times and am yet to sharpen which proves it is in for the lasting long-haul! The price is very reasonable, and who really wants to pay much for a eyebrow pencil.
The product seemed to last the whole day which is a bonus, no one likes to carry around ALL their make-up doing touch ups here there and everywhere.
I would defiantly recommend and will use again, of to the shops for me though to get a slightly darker colour.
Tips: Try and purchase from a shop that has testers so you know your getting the correct shade
