Rimmel London Professional Eyebrow Pencil Review

This is such a disappointing product. If you've found your most absolute holy grail product, don't bother trying this out. The pencil is way too soft to be an eyebrow pencil, its not firm so it means its gonna put too much product on your brows which makes you look like you applied sharpie on them, and by the first hour, half of your eyebrows are faded and smudged on your skin. The little brush is no help as well. I didn't like that it had a red undertone and that the pencil needs to be constantly sharpened. Save your money for something better and skip on this one

I found applying this product to be messy and difficult to create sharp, defined lines with which converted me to using tinted waxes & powders with a brush. To get a nice enough looking line I found I had to sharpen the pencil daily which I feel wasted a decent amount of product, in turn this made the pencil shorter and more difficult to get a nice hold on.

In saying that, I did think the colour was nice and the formula was really pigmented so I do think something like this could be good to have in your handbag for touch-ups or someone who just wants to add a bit of colour rather than really define their brows.

Im a big fan of Rimmel but I found the Eyebrow pencil was too soft and too dark. I brought the Dark brown eyebrow pencil for $14 a while back in Farmers, the brush is too hard to brush up the eyebrows and it hurts. Since the pencil is quite creamy you still to set it with a little powder or it smudges if your happen to rub them. I prefer to use this pencil for eyeliner and make a brown smoky eye look with it, this was a fail for my eyebrows and just made them look like dark brown worms, I am still a big Rimmel junkie but this product wasn't for my eyebrows.

I got this product from Wal-Mart pharmacy when I did a brow haul to try to get products that could compare to Anastasia BH and when I saw Rimmel I was like,"I have to try this!" I got the shade Hazel and it was 15$. I really wanted to love this product, but I just couldn't. Straight out the gate it was broken so I had to sharpen it and just wouldn't sharpen into a nice pointed end. I still attempted to use it and it's just smudges way too much. I want brows that stay not stray and this product just doesn't. The end is too thick to get a precise brow. I would recommend the Loreal pencil or the milani pomade. Or just bite the bullet and pay the extra for the ABH Brow wiz or the dipbrow. You won't regret it!

I usually love Rimmel products but not this one. The shade is more of a orange brown and does not sit well with my medium eyebrow colour. The pencil was not the best quality and does not offer that natural eyebrow effect. Will not be using my eyebrow pencil again after purchasing a much better product.

This was the first product I used on my brows, which is great if you're looking for a first time brow product. But if you're looking for a more advanced brow this is probably not the right product. I found the pencil very stiff, and needed quite a bit of pressure to get a decent colour pay off. I definitely won't be going back to this pencil.

The colour of the pencil is great, and love that it has the little brush on the lid. When this product is fully sharpened it is nice and easy to use, however I found that it was super easy to smudge - I put sunglasses on and didnt realise tha while adjusted them it smudged both of my eyebrows up my forehead! Not a good look. I occasionally use this product still, as I love the nice sharp line it gives, however never if i know ill be wearing my sunnies! Its a decent price, however for that price point i would vote for using the ELF brow duo instead!

This is probly the only brow pencil I will use on a regular basis I have a couple of these. I love it so easy to apply I prefer powder brow products but this great. Although i wish they had a darker colour.

When i was brunette i used the Rimmel Eyebrow pencil in the colour dark brown. I loved it as i loved bold brows back then. I ended up going through 3 pencils i believe(i was a bit addicted) Then when i went blonde i decided to get the one in the shade hazel. I thought it would work the same as the dark brown but just be a lighter shade but it didn't turn out that way. The pencil was hard to apply and didn't come off softly like the dark brown did. After pretty much having to draw on my brows to get some product on them, the Hazel came out way to orange for me and it looked horrible! I still have it and occasionally use it as an eyeliner instead but it isn't that great as an eyeliner either. I would definitely repurchase the dark brown but i wouldn't recommend the Hazel, unless you had hair with an orange tint to it.

I never really became aware of how important eye brows are until recently seeing current trends on social media. Probably in the last two years I started to buy more brow products and became aware of how important it is to take care of my eye brows. It's probably the trickiest part of doing my make up, because I always struggle to get them looking like twins. When I'm looking for a brow pencil essentially I want a pencil that blends in well with my eye brows.

The pencil that I got was in the colour dark brown. I have very patchy brows so I really needed something that could fill in my gaps naturally. This pencil is the same size as a standard eye liner pencil. Theres a brush on the lid. This brush is used to sweep over my brows once I've filled them in.

I wore this all day long. I found that it does slightly fade for me. I did need to apply more mid day and it kept for the rest of the day. I think it's priced affordably. I'm still searching for my miracle brow product. This is ok if your just starting out.
