Rimmel London Lasting Matte Foundation

I love this foundation and it's the one I find myself reaching for every single day. It has a nice full coverage with a matte finish, it's a mousse formula and feels light as a feather on the skin, its super easy to work with and blends with minimal effort. I set it with a powder and it lasts the full day at work. The packaging is simple but effective, it's in a squeeze tube which is perfect as its a thicker consistenty so it's really easy to get the product out and control how much you are using. The only downside is that the colour range is very limited and the shade I have isn't a perfect match but it's still close enough to be wearable.

When I first swatched this foundation at the store, it looked so smooth and perfect, and I got so excited. Then I got home, applied it, and I was so disappointed. It wouldn't blend on my face and got stuck on all my imperfections. Furthermore it looked cakey and after applying it all, I could definitely feel, that i was wearing foundation - and a lot of it. Not my favourite at all and i definitely won't repurchase.

This used to be my go-to foundation. I even have backups of this. However, I haven't been using it as much lately. I still really like it but I have found better ones.

This is great for my oily skin. However, it feels quite heavy so you know you have makeup on. It has good coverage too. Since this is a heavier foundation, you need to work harder in blending it on the skin to create a flawless finish. It can look cakey if it isn't applied well. I recommend a sponge rather than brushes. I use a beauty blender and it works better.

For the price, I like this for my oily skin but there are better foundations out there.

love it! i have used this for the last week,i have been putting it on my face with a blending eyeshadow brush in small swirls around my chin,forehead and cheeks.it goes in any large pores like a primer.i then apply my usual foundation.the finish is flawless as the rimmel stay matte has smoothed out the imperfections on my face.its better than most primers for a stay matt foundation.TRY IT THIS WAY.IT WORKS. also the packaging is great being a squeezy tube.

I brought this before i had to go out and needed a cheap foundation. Its okay, for its price its an okay foundation. But i felt it just went on a bit heavy and it was really easy to make it go on uneven, im defintley a liquid foundation girl so maybe that was it. However when i did manage to get the hang of it it did create quite a flawless look but felt quite heavy and cloggy.

I love Rimmel! Howwwwwever, this foundation is so meh. I was recommended it as its a full coverage foundation. The texture is like a thick mousse. It covered everything and lasted all day but I looked super cakey and found that even set with trans powder or setting spray it way so thick and transferred onto everything.

I suppose if you didn't need full coverage but wanted a matte finish, this would be a good one for you. Just make sure to blend blend blend ❤️

This is my go to night out foundation! I love the texture of it and how it sits on my skin and it also worked with a range of concealers under and over it. It does NOT move!

I suffer from oily skin and find most foundations give me that nasty shine nobody likes, i read some reviews on Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation and thought it sounded like my solution! This soft light matte textured foundation gives me good coverage and feels lovely and soft on my skin, because it is a mousse it spreads nice and evenly over my face. It has fully stopped the oily feel i used to get during the day and has my face looking nice and even throughout the whole day. I use thin lizzy concealer before applying this foundation and they work beautifully together. It comes in a tube so is easy to get out and apply, has a decent amount in it and has a cute look. You can pick this product up at Kmart for $17 and is well worth giving a shot!
