Rimmel London Lasting Matte Foundation

This is one of my greatest find drugstore brand. I love this product because it creates a flawless air brush finished to my face and it matte -that's a bonus! It stays on all day and it's very affordable. Certainly a must have

This is a fantastic foundation! I love the texture of it and most of all it's staying power as well as obviously the Matte finish. I wear it to work where I am working in a busy office and don't have time to touch up my makeup and after an 8 hour shift it is still going strong. This is often something that is rear for me as I have acne and often find makeup breaks up around my acne but this certainly does a great job of covering it up

This foundation is a recent discovery. I have heard so many people talk about this product before but I never really understood what the hype was all about. I wasn't out to find a new foundation but I saw it was on clearance for $5 down from $20 so I thought I'd give it a try.

I love this foundation and it is my new "Holy Grail" foundation. Who knew a matte finish is now my best friend! It leaves a beautiful flawless matte finish, blends well even though it dries quite quickly. Build able coverage and doesn't cake up at all. Perfect for winter as it is quite a heavy feeling foundation.

The only downside is that it can be hard to take off at the end of the day as I find that it gets stuck in my pores. It does last all day, I found it great to apply with a sponge, I tried applying with my fingers but it didn't work to well with my skin.

I have just fallen in love with this foundation! Today was my first time useing it and I am so impressed! I've now had it on for 7 hours and I have no shine (I have normal to oily skin), its all still in place and looks exactly how it did when I first applied it. The coverage is great, medium to full and definitely buildable. It feels really nice on my skin, not thick or cakey and it's very breathable. The colour I chose is true ivory and it's a perfect match for me. I was so happy about this as I always have a hard time trying to get a great match. It lasts so long and it's so cheap! I'll definitely be buying this again

using this for the first time ever today and so far I LOVE it!!!!! it is so nice and matte. easy to apply and a little really does go a long way!! the only downfall I could say about this product is that it has a strange smell but that wont stop me from continuing to use:)

When I use regular foundations, my skin gradually tends to get super oily and shiny. Sick of this happening, I endeavoured to find a nice matte foundation and came across this on ASOS for only around $12. It is a lovely mousse consistency and applied very nicely to my face and was so light that I didn't feel like I had anything on. It gave me a perfect matte finish for about 8 hours! So impressed!

When I purchased the first time I accidentally got the wrong colour (it was the lightest, and im a medium gal!) so I ended up using that as a concealer/highlighter - AMAZING

WHen I brought the RIGHT shade for me, I loved it! Personally I prefer their long lasting 25 hr foundation but this was a good alternative!

I have finally found a foundation that stops the oil factory appearing on my face!

I have such oily skin that foundations slide off, it's gross. But this one it stays on from 7am to 5pm without needed to top up with powder.

I have been applying small dots straight on my face then buffing in with a beauty blender, it covers well but in some spots since it's so thick it doesn't blend as well so I'm gonna try rubbing it in with my fingers first as someone's suggested.

You don't need a lot of this so the tube will last for ages, I've found the shade 100 perfect for my yellow toned pale skin. Will definitely repurchase this beauty

I can honestly say this has opened my eyes to cheaper foundation and definitely made me more open minded to trying other options!

I love the texture of this product, its so beautiful, fluffy and moussey. Alone it gives a beautiful full coverage with an almost air brushed effect.. Its not at all cakey and blends beautifully.

I love this even more mixed in with some CC cream and some strobe cream.. It makes the most dreamy concoction for the face.

The fact that this product is great alone and can be used in conjunction with other products for alternative finishes makes it an absolute must have in my opinion especially for the price! This wont break the bank and it certainly wont disappoint!

I love this foundation with a passion. I purchased it a couple of weeks ago, and took a risk with it after hearing great things and I am in love with it!

The packaging is very cute, and very much suits rimmels style of makeup, the tube is a good size and has plenty of product in it. The foundation is super creamy, and goes on like a dream. It lasts throughout the day, and does not melt off my face, but stays set in place from morning until night. I have an oily skin type, and when I am wearing this foundation you would not know it!

If I were to compare this foundation to another, it is very much like loreals dream matte mousse. However I find that rimmel's one lasts longer during the day, and has a lot more product.

Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a matte finish with medium to full coverage. It is a great affordable foundation.
