i ordered this foundation after hearing so much about it on the makeup obsessives facebook page. i do find that the formula is quite thick, and i haven't found the perfect way to apply it just yet! i do find that it tends to cake up around my nose, but i do have very dry skin on my nose, everywhere else it doesn't cake up. a little goes a very long way so be sure not to squeeze out too much at once :)

When I purchased the first time I accidentally got the wrong colour (it was the lightest, and im a medium gal!) so I ended up using that as a concealer/highlighter - AMAZING
WHen I brought the RIGHT shade for me, I loved it! Personally I prefer their long lasting 25 hr foundation but this was a good alternative!
I loved how light this foundation felt on my skin, I barely felt like I was wearing makeup at all which I love! A little goes a long way with Rimmel Stay Matte: the cream is smooth and I found it really easy to evenly apply with just my fingers. The tube also makes it easy to work with, but be careful not to squeeze out too much or it will go to waste. It gave a gorgeous, medium coverage that I was delighted with, especially for the price!
Tips: Girls with dry skin: use your regular moisturiser, then first apply a moisturising primer or BB cream as a base, and finish off with Rimmel Stay Matte- I've had no problems on my super dry skin!
After hearing a lot of my makeup obsessive friends going on about this foundation I simply had to try. I was after full coverage without looking cakey, or feeling cakey.
*Update, After revisiting this old friend I found i Didn't enjoy it so much after trying higher end foundations. It felt really sticky on, and I felt my face was unclean so had to wash it off! When you set with powder etc it feels like you're layering and layering more makeup on, not a fantastic feeling. What works for some unfortunately didn't work for me again. I so wanted to love this This is perfect for that! It's thick formula is easily spread with a stipple brush, it covers all my freckles, imperfections, and dare i say it under eye bags (I am a mum) And looks matte, flawless, I love it !
I find it sets well, and blends well, and the Ivory was perfect for my pale skin tone (was a stab in the dark picking a shade). Very totally super happy with it
Tips: Use with a stipple brush or beauty blender (or likewise sponge) for smooth flawless coverage. xx
this is the perfect foundation for oily skin! i have dry/normal skin and it caked up abit on me and seaped into my creases but i loved it that much a still wore it for a few days before i couldnt handle seeing my fine lines through it any longer lol. although my sister used it and she has oily skin and it looks amazing on her, some people say its a close dupe to double wear being really full coverage and long lasting if you have oily skin i would def recommend you try it
Tips: buff in using a foundation brush or beauty blender for the best results xx
When I use regular foundations, my skin gradually tends to get super oily and shiny. Sick of this happening, I endeavoured to find a nice matte foundation and came across this on ASOS for only around $12. It is a lovely mousse consistency and applied very nicely to my face and was so light that I didn't feel like I had anything on. It gave me a perfect matte finish for about 8 hours! So impressed!
Tips: Apply with your fingers onto different parts of your face and then buff in with a flat top brush for a nice flawless finish.
I have this in the old packaging, so I don't know if the formula has changed much at all. But for my one, the coverage is very light, good for days where I don't need coverage. It's a very average foundation, there's nothing absolutely brilliant or absolutely terrible about this foundation at all. I do really love the packaging, however, I find its better than ones in glass bottles. It makes it good to take travelling. For its price, it's a decent foundation if you're not looking for high coverage.
using this for the first time ever today and so far I LOVE it!!!!! it is so nice and matte. easy to apply and a little really does go a long way!! the only downfall I could say about this product is that it has a strange smell but that wont stop me from continuing to use:)
If you're looking for a good matte foundation with decent coverage, this is it.
Its affordable, does the job and gives a lovely matte finish. When I first purchased it, I thought the tube looked a little small, but a little product goes a long way.
Unfortunately I bought a shade to dark, so I'll have to tan up a bit before using it again. I'd say its a tiny bit more difficult to apply than some of my other foundations, due to its almost 'whipped' and fluffy consistency, it would be good to try using a Beauty Blender with it as it can clog up your brushes. In saying that, its wonderful on your skin, not too heavy and gives a lovely matte look.
Perfect for those who hate a shiny face and it will hold powders well.
Tips: Apply with a sponge, you don't need too much product.
Well this product is soo matte you really only need to use the smallest bit. I would really recommend to use your fingers cleaned as a brush and espically a beauty blender as too much product make you look really cakey. This foundation is for people who have pink under tones as its a really pink foundation and stands out maybe you could use more bronzer to make it look more to a yellow under tone like I have :)
