For the price it's ok. I find it was great at first then as it ages it declines in quality quite rapidly. Didn't take long for me to notice it just sits on my skin and is hard to blend after a few weeks. So although nice at first it definitely doesn't feel great on my skin after a while. I like my foundation to feel silky smooth and when applies like my skin can breathe.. I don't feel like this lets my skin do that sadly.

This foundation is definitely matte and does control shine. I loved the thick mousse consistency. It doesn't have a good shade range "100 Ivory" was quite dark. If you have combination skin it may not be suitable because the it emphasises dry areas. It can look quite cakey.
Tips: Using your fingers to use this product is best as it's very thick; your fingers warm up the product to make it easier to blend. Applying with your fingers first then using dampend beauty blender can help smooth it out a little more.
ive had this foundation for a while, so have tried it in numerous conditions and occasions. I'm in soft beige, which i think is cool toned, and i prefer a more warm toned foundation.
i don't know, but every time i wear this foundation, i fell like it just sits on my skin, never becoming one with my skin, and one touch of my face and it wipes off like whiteboard marker on a whiteboard. then i actually get a bit greasy and shiny looking...isn't it supposed to stay matte? it's also VERY mousy which i feel can definitely give a completely FLAWLESS complexion (hiding those pimples, scars, freckles, etc)...but does show up my dry flakes and any unknown 'invisible' flakes of skin.
I've tried naked skin, moisturiser, primer, moisturiser and primer together; it just doesn't seem for me. I've tried with a brush (you can see streaks), I've tried a sponge (you can see the pores of the sponge dabbing).
thankfully it wasn't too expensive, but at least i can say I've tried a mousse foundation, and now i know, maybe I'm just not meant to use mousse. i'll keep the mousse to a dessert hehehe
I have used the tone Soft Beige and this product is awesome for a night out dancing as it is matte but doesn't feel cakey and it stays on the whole night. It makes your skin feel so so soft. I have oily skin and it works amazingly with it.
Tips: I applied with my fingers then used a beauty blender to blend it out.
I went through a phase of buying things on special and not really looking at the colour. I think we all know why a lot of concealers and foundations make it to the the 'clearance' party; because no one wants them. Sad day. I bought this foundation in an excited flurry imagining an oil-less face that looked like a baby bum from every angle. I got it for ten bucks from the Warehouse. I got home and slapped it on, and it was SO white. And the tube said nude ivory...so obviously white but not THAT white. Ps I'm a white kid. But MATE did the mattifying gods pull through, this foundee is extreme and really fills your pores and wrinkles (so wash your face well afterwards). The product is a bit annoying as you squeeze it out of a tube, meaning you have to cut it open towards the end of it's life to scrounge around for the last drops. Or not. OG price point was cheap anyway so next time I purchase this I'll TRY get the right colour and not get carried away.
I bought a tube of Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in "Soft Beige" (#200) from The Warehouse, and as there were no tester tubes, I just took a gamble and hoped that it was the right colour, and it matches my skin tone perfectly!
Packaged in Rimmel's signature white and purple 30ml plastic squeeze tube (white tube with purple writing and a purple lid), this liquid mousse foundation can be quite difficult to squeeze out of the tube on a cold day, but the formula blends onto my skin easily and definitely leaves my skin looking shine-free for a lot longer than other matte foundations, especially when used with Rimmel's Stay Matte Primer. Once applied, it dries to a soft, matte finish with a lightweight feel that isn't heavy or greasy.
It provides good medium coverage when applied with fingertips, and can be built up to full coverage when applied with a foundation brush. I also found that applying this with a foundation brush gives me more of a flawlessly natural, almost airbrushed look, once I'm done.
I thought I'd found a favourite foundation when I discovered Rimmel's 25hr Lasting Finish Foundation, but I definitely prefer Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation. It's definitely great for oily skin.
Tips: Use Rimmel's Stay Matte Primer and then apply Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation with a foundation brush. Finish it off with a light dusting of translucent powder.
I may have to re visit this review when I purchase the right colour but mixed in with my brightening concealer this went on really nicely. (I purchased it online and used a foundation matching tool that turned out to be completely wrong!)
Anyway! I have been swiping my light fit me concealer around my face with a dot of this on top and blending it out with a sponge, it is FULL coverage. Covered the redness around my nose and the red spot above my eye and worked well with the other cream and powder products I was using too.
The product is thick and tacky, like a very thick mousse, and although you only get 30 ml a little goes a really long way.
Tips: Start with less than you'd usually use and build from there, I used less than half the amount I pump out of my usual foundation.
My go to foundation! Full coverage formula which means you don't need to use as much concealer after application. Little goes a long way. 16 shades to choose from. Great foundation for makeup artists just starting to build up their kits. Can be layered if desired. I have been using this product for three years now. Non cakey if applied correctly.
Tips: Use a flat head kabuki style foundation brush as this product is quite thick and needs to be blended out well. Stippling also works a treat. If product is too light or dark mix some liquid foundation in with it, it also helps with ease of appilication.
I heard great things about this but I was disappointed, it felt really cakey and heavy. It was hard to blend and it did not sit right with my acne and scarring. I would not recommend this to people who have acne scarring or breakouts.
I have never stuck to the same foundation for so long. This product is amazing. i do find that i still get a bit oily through out the day, but nothing major compared to a normal foundation. i have had several comments of how flawless my skin looks. it is a very thick foundation when it comes out of the tube but i dont feel any heaviness once it is on my face. Highly recommend if you have any scars or oily skin!
Tips: Needs to be blended on the face quickly as it can dry and not blend very well
