Rimmel London Lasting Matte Foundation

I got the shade ivory and that is my only complaint about this foundation. I wouldn't say it is a light enough ivory if you are quite pale like myself. I felt that i needed to mix it with a little of a lighter colour to match my skin properly. In saying that, i still repurchase because the price is very reasonable plus i love the product itself. The coverage is great and it doesn't slide off your face across the day! Plus you definitely do stay matte for a long time! Overall this foundation is amazing but if you are very pale you need to be prepared to mix with a lighter one.

I love this foundation, it has great coverage but doesnt feel heavy on the skin. It goes on smoothly and blends easily, and lasts all day keeping my skin shine free which i love.

I really like this foundation and is currently my go to one :)

Cons: - If you apply too much it does become 'cakey' - Can feel heavy at times - Can transfer easily Would I buy it again? ... Yes

Would i recommend it to others? ... Only if they want a high coverage foundation. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who doesn't like to wear too much makeup (I feel this foundation needs to be paired with contouring kits in order for the face to not appear one-toned or bland).

This is the only foundation I use these days. It has such great coverage and it doesn't feel oily or unnatural on your face. It lasts all day, and I never have to reapply during the day.

I have some spots, but I don't even have to use concealer, because this foundation does the job by itself. I just pop it on with some powder on top and that's my base makeup finished.

The only downside is that the bottle is a bit small. I have to buy new ones all the time I feel. But hey, I'm happy to do that seeing as the price is pretty decent.

Definitely recommend this one.

I absolutely adore this foundation. I use it as my everyday base as it has amazing coverage and I can't feel it when it's on. It is easy to apply and blends nicely. I will buy this as my go to foundation until I find one better but that will be hard. It is a very affordable price as well which makes it even better! Love it so much!!

This product is great if you are in a hurry to get your face looking perfect. You can brush this on is a super fast time, and often don't need to worry about blending with a beauty blender. If you want, it is easy to put on only a little and still have full coverage. For nighttime going out, it's great when the night gets hot from all the dancing. It stays put and looks just as good when you get home, as it did before you went out

I'm now on a reduced income and I had to find a cheaper foundation than my favourite Clinque. This foundation is awesome, it spreads evenly over my skin and leaves me with a polished base.

My go to foundation! Full coverage formula which means you don't need to use as much concealer after application. Little goes a long way. 16 shades to choose from. Great foundation for makeup artists just starting to build up their kits. Can be layered if desired. I have been using this product for three years now. Non cakey if applied correctly.

I may have to re visit this review when I purchase the right colour but mixed in with my brightening concealer this went on really nicely. (I purchased it online and used a foundation matching tool that turned out to be completely wrong!)

Anyway! I have been swiping my light fit me concealer around my face with a dot of this on top and blending it out with a sponge, it is FULL coverage. Covered the redness around my nose and the red spot above my eye and worked well with the other cream and powder products I was using too.

The product is thick and tacky, like a very thick mousse, and although you only get 30 ml a little goes a really long way.

I bought a tube of Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in "Soft Beige" (#200) from The Warehouse, and as there were no tester tubes, I just took a gamble and hoped that it was the right colour, and it matches my skin tone perfectly!

Packaged in Rimmel's signature white and purple 30ml plastic squeeze tube (white tube with purple writing and a purple lid), this liquid mousse foundation can be quite difficult to squeeze out of the tube on a cold day, but the formula blends onto my skin easily and definitely leaves my skin looking shine-free for a lot longer than other matte foundations, especially when used with Rimmel's Stay Matte Primer. Once applied, it dries to a soft, matte finish with a lightweight feel that isn't heavy or greasy.

It provides good medium coverage when applied with fingertips, and can be built up to full coverage when applied with a foundation brush. I also found that applying this with a foundation brush gives me more of a flawlessly natural, almost airbrushed look, once I'm done.

I thought I'd found a favourite foundation when I discovered Rimmel's 25hr Lasting Finish Foundation, but I definitely prefer Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation. It's definitely great for oily skin.
