Rimmel London Lasting Matte Foundation

If you're looking for a good matte foundation with decent coverage, this is it.

Its affordable, does the job and gives a lovely matte finish. When I first purchased it, I thought the tube looked a little small, but a little product goes a long way.

Unfortunately I bought a shade to dark, so I'll have to tan up a bit before using it again. I'd say its a tiny bit more difficult to apply than some of my other foundations, due to its almost 'whipped' and fluffy consistency, it would be good to try using a Beauty Blender with it as it can clog up your brushes. In saying that, its wonderful on your skin, not too heavy and gives a lovely matte look.

Perfect for those who hate a shiny face and it will hold powders well.

I absolutely love this foundation! it is my favorite foundation that i have found so far. I have acne prone skin and this foundation gives me a full coverage look with out feeling cakey at all. I find that this foundation stays on very well and when i put powder over top its guaranteed to stay all day. This foundation however does not provide the matte finish that is says it will as i can see shine on my face about 4 hours after i apply it.

i brought this without a tester and in a hurry, purely because it was $17 at kmart. i have just tried it and im in love! it came out of the tube really thick which made it a little hard to apply. but the coverage is awesome. And even the colour matches great! My new fav!

I use this foundation when I want a slightly lighter coverage than my Revlon Colorstay. I love this foundation as it isn't 100% matte (unlike what the name implys), and it makes my skin look healthy & slightly glowy. This covers imperfections & blemishes, without looking cakey or like you have too much makeup on. Overall this is a great lightweight, everyday foundation!

This is a amazing product for such a small cost in store at farmers it is only $19nzd so worth it. I find it light weight and easy to wear. But if I apply in the morning then set it with the stay matte powder by mid day I have to blend it out abit as it goes quite patchy but then it lasts all day from there on. So easy to remove.

I bought this from Kmart on special for $12.50! I really liked the mousse texture and found it blended in nicely on my skin. I put it on with foundation brush but then swiped over with my fingers to get a more even look. I was surprised with how little I used. It stayed on really well as my skin is more dry than oily. I did however put a little powder over my chin and nose ass these are the places my foundation wears off over the course of a day. This really helped the staying power, I found the coverage really good too and I would definitely buy this again even if its not on special.

This foundation is definitely one of my new loves. The coverage is phenomenal and the formulation is so lightweight on the skin i forget im wearing foundation ! I find that you get a super long wear out of it used with a primer and setting powder but works fine without and will generally last around 6 hours before starting to look oily (:

I absolutely love this foundation! It has great coverage and would recommend it as a great dupe for high end products at that cheaper price! I find that if I'm having a good skin day I have no need for concealer, I can just use this product on it's own with some powder in my shiny areas. A primer or something similar is needed for a full lasting day, if it is used with a primer for me it normally last my full day of University (6-8 hours) with no touch up and I have combination skin.

i ordered this foundation after hearing so much about it on the makeup obsessives facebook page. i do find that the formula is quite thick, and i haven't found the perfect way to apply it just yet! i do find that it tends to cake up around my nose, but i do have very dry skin on my nose, everywhere else it doesn't cake up. a little goes a very long way so be sure not to squeeze out too much at once :)
