i like the colour of the bottle, its very trendy. easy to open and a nice big handle which makes applying a breeze... that's all the pros i can say about this product because i was very underwhelmed with its formulae and coverage. I have very big, naturally dark eyelashes which in turn makes mascaras look like they work well so it's easy for me to tell a formula that doesnt. this one was well under par with its performance and application. first off it clumped my lashes togther with the first swipe of the horrendous applicator wand. plus it went on my skin while applying which is super annoying if you have all ready to be foundational nd eye stuff. basically its a crappy mascara and i would recommend buying a different one.

Tips: use a disposable wand and see if it works any better.
Consistency is creamy and the product had clumps through it which creates a problem while applying the product. The brush is a curled applicator wand which is enjoyable to use for application. The product lasted through the day without flaking or smearing. The packing is nice the colour is a metallic pink and easy to twist open and itâs not too big or small to hold. Results is not what I expected the product did not add volume to my lashes and it doesnât provide much lift for my lashes which is surprising considering a curler wand is supposed to help provide the curled up effect. I would recommend if you do use this product to use a different brush for the lower lashes as it smudges and leaves uneven finish. I wouldnât recommend this product to my friends there are so many others out there and this one is average. The price at farmers is $22 I wouldnât pay that much for it.
I loved getting this product to review. I feel like since mascara is something that you replace often I donât feel bad about adding new ones to my collection when Iâm trying to keep it minimalist (sort of).
Packaging is lovely, the pink is gorgeous. I do feel it is a bit big and thick so not ideal for travel - but nice enough. The name bugs me a wee bit - Wonderâluxe - is the apostrophe for missing the âfulâ at the end of wonder?
The brush itself is lovely. Lately I have been skipping the plastic mascara brushes in favour of the more brush like fibres. But this reminds me why I used to have the LâOreal Telescopic as my favourite mascara. On a first pass it separates and creates a lovely natural look. But on second pass the magic begins with some fantastic volume. Love the look it creates.
However this begins to lose a few points with wear. Now bear in mind I am usually a waterproof mascara wearer. But I do find that this flakes by the end of the day and leaves little black bits of mascara down my cheeks. Less than ideal. On the plus side however it does remove easily.
If they came out with a waterproof version of this I would be all over it and ready for a new holy grail. But as it is - it just isnât for me.
First of all the packaging of this mascara is gorgeous, I always love a beautiful rose gold sparkle! It is also very sturdy plastic. I love that the wand handle is angled making it easy to twist open & shut and made for an easy application. I found the wand tip to be bendy, which is the flimsy part for me as the wand bends when I try to push the sides to get rid of excess mascara. This didn't work so well so the wand had excess mascara after using a few days & would transfer clumps onto my lashes.
In saying that, this mascara gave my lashes full volume and made them stand out. My lashes were also very soft, they weren't entirely smooth like this mascara claims to give because of the clumps but after dabbing them with a tissue I loved the look of my lashes.
I don't usually notice the scent of mascara but I noticed this and noticed it was quite pleasant. This didn't come with any other packaging but on looking at the Rimmel website I see that it's infused with 4 "luxurious caring oils" - argan, maracuja, marula & camellia oils which is where I'm assuming the scent comes from.
I was quite impressed that I didn't have any fall out and no marks during the day. I did notice by the end of the day though my lashes seemed less volumised, and would recommend more application if you're heading out after work!
Tips: If I were going to use this again I would get my own preferable mascara wand as this one is not sturdy enough for me and became too clumpy after little use.
I have mixed feelings about this one - it definitely does give you volume but due to the comb design of the brush, you need to put on quite a few layers before you can really see the effects. The pro about this brush style though is that you avoid the clumpiness that can often come from bigger brushes. It wears quite well and is easy to remove, but for me I would prefer length over volume so this one wasn't really for me.
Tips: Apply a few layers to get the desired effect.
Wow the container is a mauve metallic pink in colour with a soft curve into four corners lightly twisted fuller in the middle than on the edges . Itâs sexy to look at and hold. Itâs a generous 11 ml of black mascara. The brush is solid with wee hard spikes and lightly curved. I wipe the mascara off the brush with a tissue otherwise I find all mascaras go on way to heavy and a little clumpy as the brush is full. So a couple off zig zag brush through my lashes, mascara that is black as black is on my lashes. I found it clumped my eyelashes together so my lashes look like spider legs. But if I brush over them once I applied the mascara with another wand or with the wand after I ran it through a tissue to remove most of the mascara it does separate them to make them look all individual and fuller. I had to do that every time I used it, so Iâd say I'm going to go through it pretty quickly.
During the day no crumbs on my face and nice and easy to remove a wee makeup pad soaked in warm water with a bit of eye makeup remover it comes of nice and easy. It doesnât give me va vom amazing volume but two coats and I do have fuller eyelashes and length. For the price itâs a ok product
Tips: Really wiggle the wand and don't have it full of mascara, use the uncurved side to put it on and the curved to give the lashes a light curl
Beautiful packagingđ
However did not find it gave a lot of volume ?style of brush affecting this, or something else.
Good price point, and bonus being avail at major shops like, The Warehouse and Bargain Chemist.
What a cute design! Itâs a bulky, unique shaped mascara (probably twice the thickness of the usual mascaras you would see). Itâs even coated in a pretty, shiny layer of chrome pink. So here you go pink lovers! The mascara was extremely light-weighted. Even though itâs bulkier than the usual mascaraâs, it wouldnât add much of a weight.
Taking out the wand itself, i noticed the curved applicator tip, and the fine comb-like bristles. The mascara itself seems to have a nice and smooth texture to it, which reminds me of the liquid eye liners. I didnât see much of tiny black dusty bits or stringy fibres stuck to the bristle. It looked almost clump free, but never know until you try it on... So here it goes!
The comb-like bristles make it a lot easier to prevent too getting too many tiny bits on your lashes. Initially there was too much product on the brush, where i had to scrape it off on the sides of the tube few times. I have long, straight lashes of moderate thickness. The mascara highlighted the length of my lashes, making it more defined, but because my stubborn lashes that takes a lot of effort to curl, i didnât expect much help from this mascara to keep the curl in shape. Although the mascara didnât help keep my lashes curled, the mascara didnât have a lot of the usual flakiness that you see in a lot of mascaras, due to itâs wet texture.
The mascara is buildable so not too difficult to add a more bulky look. However, if i brushed too many layers on my stubborn lashes, the more difficult for me to separate my lashes out, as the mascara builds in thickness rather than length, which straightens my lashes, and will add in that usual sticky tackiness when i blink my eyes, which i find quite uncomfortable. However, the mascara worked nicely on my thinner bottom lashes for some reason. Maybe due to my technique.
It is convenient and easy to remove even with just warm water. Yes, sorry water-proof mascara lovers.. This mascara is not waterproof. But looking on the bright side, It doesnât adhere strongly to your skin, so it wont smudge out as bad as the usual mascaras that would give you an obvious panda eye when trying to remove your make up or any oopsies. I find removing waterproof eye make up really difficult. A lot of times after removing mascara, i had to scrub and wipe so hard that the skin around my eyes eventually turns red, but itâs not the case for this gentle one.
I love how Rimmel makes and keeps their products at an affordable price to customers. Although, this product wasnât made for my lashes, i do like the more natural approach of this mascara, as it wasnât too heavy. And i loved how thereâs less flaky bits, as i always found it irritating trying to get rid of the tiny bits that gets into your eye. I wouldnât recommend it to those whoâs loyal to a dry, fibrous mascara. But i do recommend this mascara for those who wants to further define their long, fine, and naturally curled lashes, but prefer the simple, minimal make up look.
The actual formula is very nice , and l like the formulas ingredients, l found it lasted all day with out smudging. I found it really hard to use the bush , it's hard small curved shape is very uncomfortable to apply . Which l think is the only negative l found with it Would hesitate to recommend due to brush shape
Tips: I used another brush to help evenly distribute to product as l found the brush that came with mascara very hard to use
I was excited to be a part of this trial team as I was in the need of a new mascara and was willing to try a new brand. First of all, I really liked the packaging. I thought it was sleek & stylish with the rose-gold colour and the curved/twisted shape. I also liked the curve of the wand and the promise that it would give you fuller, longer, lashes.
However, the first time I tried the mascara I found it was really clumpy, which caused a mess as I have short, fair eyelashes. The second time I used it, I took great care to avoid getting too much mascara on the wand, in an attempt to stop the clumping. As a result, I didn't get any clumps but I also felt that my lashes weren't highly defined.
Overall, l I found this mascara to be middle-of-the-road. It did make my blonde eyelashes stand out a bit more but it didn't live up to its claim of "a fan of longer, fuller, lashes". Perhaps if I had been genetically blessed with longer lashes I would see a difference.
