I have quite a few colours in this range now. The colours they have are all very cool and they are slowly bringing out more although not fast enough for me. For a gel polish this product is super easy to use and does not require uv light which is good. It goes on nice and smooth and the slightly angled brush helps to get to the edges without making a mess. It dries reasonably fast between coats so doesn't take too long for the whole process. My only negatives are that there's no way this lasts 14 days. While it does stay on a bit longer than regular polish I have had it chip the next day once or twice and usually always within a couple of days.

Tips: Make sure you let it dry well between coats and prep the nail properly before applying
Overall, this nail polish is gorgeous. it is thick, covers well and has a really nice glossy gel look to it. It lasts better than regular nail polish, however for me it only last a week before it chips. I work on a computer, so nothing overly handsy... I would have expected it to last longer like it says!
Tips: Try to move quickly, don't leave the jar open for too long as it dries out quicker.
I received some of these for xmas this past year and I was really excited to try this polish but it was not as good as I thought it would be,it chips off within two days and never really feels like a gel polish just regular nail polish.plus its expensive.
I purchased this from a bargain bin at an Australian pharmacy whilst on holiday as I thought it would be a good opportunity to test the waters with this particular product.
The shade itself is very shimmery and quite opaque, therefore only requiring a couple of light coats. It's also eyecatching yet subtle which makes it quite a versatile shade.
The brush is very flat and when combined with the thick formula of the polish makes for very easy application. Application is virtually mess free and I didn't find myself getting polish on my skin (a steady hand isn't my strong point!) as I do with other polishes. I wish more nail polishes came with similar brushes as I actually prefer the flatter style compared to the thinner brushes of other brands (e.g. OPI, Revlon). It also dried very quickly, hence it is great if you're in a rush.
My only downside with this polish was the longevity - despite the product being marketed as Sally Hansen's "ultimate chip-resistant nail polish", I encountered chips after 1-2 days. This was actually quite a lot less than other non-gel products I've used e.g. OPI, Revlon and ChiChi. I've also used Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy and had much better experience regarding chipping.
Despite the chips, I will likely try more shades in this range as the application is so simple and great when you're pressed for time.
Tips: The formula is quite thick so you don't need much on your brush and seems to dry best using two thinner coats :)
The colours are quite pigmented so 2 layers will do, unless you want a thorough fully covered nail. It takes forever to fry, and when it comes to trying to take the polish off, even with an absurd amount of nail polish remover, it takes like 30 minutes.
Although, the polish itself when it is dry, does stay on and is quite resistant to knocks so it'll stay in tact well.
Great product really but the price is just a bit crazy for a nail polish. The quality is amazing, so i'd recommend if you want to treat yourself - go pick a color that can be your classic nail polish go to. Long lasting nails when applied. Application is smooth but dried out after a few months in the bottle for me.
I was given this as a present and I was so excited to try it. I have a pack with the shade Pretty Piggy and a top coat. The colour is a gorgeous coral pink.
The first thing I noticed is the glorious brush. It is wide and flat, in contrast to the rounded shape of most polish brushes. The end of the brush is also curved, shaped like the nail base. It's such a clever idea that I am suprised to not have come across this type of brush before now. The wide flat brush with the curved tip makes application super easy. The brush almost acts as a reservoir and allows more polish to come down onto the brush over time, so be aware of that.
Once on, the polish dries fairly quickly, though is susceptible to knocks and smudges until the 24 hour cure point. The top coat is likewise easy to apply and dries reasonably quickly.
Unfortunately wear time is nowhere near the 14 days claimed. I have to remove this after two days of wear, if not before, due to extreme chipping (not just tip wear). To be fair, I am very hard on my nails (lots of intense exercise including boxing and I wear gloves and wash my hands constantly at work) and no other nail polish lasts on me either.
I will keep using this however, and possibly pick up some other shades. I find some times I apply it it lasts longer than other times.
Sadly the shade range here is not that great, but hopefully they will bring some of the colours I have seen overseas to New Zealand eventually.
Tips: Use thin layers of polish and allow enough drying time
This range has some beautiful colours and Sally Hansen is coming out with some more every time I go back to look. I first tried this range as the 2 piece set. The colour and the setting polish. I don't know if its just me or they start to crack after a few days of wear. Not chip but crack. It happened with my first bottle so I decided to try another incase I just got a dud. Sadly the cracking continued and I do not recommend this range for long term wear. The colours are beautiful but I prefer my polishes to last a little longer.
I received the shade Flower Crown and the Miracle Gel Top Coat in the Best of Summer Box. It's pretty, delicate shade of pastel pink with a mauve undertone. I really liked the color. The bottle is easy to grip and I liked the wide brush which makes it easier to paint your nails with fewer brush strokes. The polish went on smoothly but I did need at least two coats to get the color to show up enough. The time it took for it to dry was average but then of course it takes longer to set. Then I applied the top coat and it gave my manicure a very glossy finish that I really love. The first day I had good wear, second day I got a minor chip and the third day more chipping and from there my manicure got tackier. I was hoping this would last longer than my other polishes but I guess when you wash dishes, cook, clean and do housework then it's unlikely any nail polish will stay chip free for more than two days. I may or may not get more shades. I heard the darker shades reviewed better and I have the top coat that meant to be paired with this line of polish.
Tips: I would recommend you use the the top coat that's specially designed for this line of polish so you might want to factor that in the costs when you first purchase this.
I gave these products a go as I hadn't tried Sally Hansen products before but I heard good things about these.
The polishes themselves are a good size, bigger than any other ones I have (OPI etc). The packaging is nice and the colours were accurate.
I purchased Pinkie Promise, a lovely baby pink shade and the Gel Top Coat. I found the brush was quite wide so applied very even coats with only 1-2 strokes. The gel itself dried quite quickly and easily lasted a week without chipping. The top coat sealed the nails nicely and helped the drying time.
These nail polishes provided lovely, bright colour that is easy to apply and lasts up to one week.
